    I want to color badge files and folders based on the some condition in finder, what is the approach to achieve this in Mac OS X 10.6 I have checked this question: This only talk about the context menu in finder http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1651075/finder-plugin-in-snow-leopard I have even checked: http://scplugin.tigris.org/ even they don't do color badging in 10.6 which is pending task.     Error can be seen here: http://djaffry.selfip.com:8080/ If i go to the folder /srv/twingle/search and do ls -l I get -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 65142784 May 26 20:28 words.db I gave it 777 access (absolutely unsafe, I know, but I thought it would atleast work) any idea what can be the permissions problem? Edit: A very strange problem is that the code doesn't crash once every few refreshes.. then goes back to crashing

  • Ruby 1.9 Ramaze App Failing with "Illegal instruction"

    I've got an app that I'm trying to get working again after wiping my system and installing Snow Leopard. I installed Ruby 1.9 from Macports (now a later version) and the dev server starts up just fine, but then dies on the first request, only telling me "Illegal instruction". I have no idea what's causing this or even how to go about debugging it. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Recently I encountered a big problem: Blend 4 always crashes immediately after a splash screen ends. No error numbers mentioned, just a crash window saying "Blend has been crashed, debug or close". Is anybody else familiar with that problem? I tried to get some help from Google but there were no relevant references. I Clicked "Debug" and JIT Debugger was opened, it threw "FataExecutionEngineError" exception... What does it mean?

Unfortunately my Request.Browser.Platform, along with a few other things is returning "Unknown" on both my iPad Mac OSX (Snow Leopard) and on Windows7 Does anyone know of a good advanced .browser file out there that does the same thing for non mobile devices as the MDBF does for mobile devices?

However, When using app engine I get Image error still saying that PIL is not installed. I am wondering if any of you have an thoughts as to how I can resolve this issue. -Matthew

  • Which is the correct way to config the $TERM and tmux?

    I am using gnome-terminal with bash. When I set xterm-256color for $TERM and in .tmux.conf most of the things work but when I try to change the colorscheme of vim the things mess up. When I set screen-256color for $TERM and in .tmux.conf the colors work ok but most of the keys go mad. I've tried some of the suggestions from the last link but when I ssh the arrows crash even on the command line.. So how to configure tmux?

    Hello, I am using the Xcode 3.1.4 that means SDK 3.1.2 The problem is that I cannot open .xcdatamodel (Core Data) file and I don't even get the Data Model option in Design Menu bar. When ever I double click and try to open the file, XCode gives me an error saying that it cannot find the file at (my project's path).Perhaps it was moved or deleted? , but the file exists at the same path. Please help me out as I haven't upgraded my system to Snow Leopard so cant use SDK 3.2 Regards jAmi

    I am using snow leopard, xcode 3.22, i first had this issue when i was using os 4 beta, i have removed the xcode software from my system and reinstalled. I can't get any app to load in the simulator, the app starts to install in the simulator then nothing, I can install the app to my device, but i can run anything in the simulator it just hangs, i am not sure what to do any idea?
