    Using pagination, I have a div structure like so in the first page: <div class="ctema">...</div> <hr /> <div class="ctema">...</div> <hr /> <div class="ctema">...</div> <hr /> But with a jquery script to fetch content via AJAX... the following pages have only: <div class="ctema">...</div> <div class="ctema">...</div> <div class="ctema">...</div> I tried this: $('.ctematicas').before('<hr />'); But this doesn't checks if the HR tag is there or not and after 5 dynamic reloads In the first page I have 5 HR in a row ... How can I check if the HR tag is present between classes CTEMA and add one if not present?

    Hello, I'm trying to fetch the most popular tags from all videos in my database (ignoring blank tags). I also need the 'flv' for each tag. I have this working as I want if each video has one tag: SELECT tag_1, flv, COUNT(tag_1) AS tagcount FROM videos WHERE NOT tag_1='' GROUP BY tag_1 ORDER BY tagcount DESC LIMIT 0, 10 However in my database, each video is allowed three tags - tag_1, tag_2 and tag_3. Is there a way to get the most popular tags reading from multiple columns?     I have this section in my CruiseControl config.xml file: <publishers> <onsuccess> <artifactspublisher dest="artifacts/${project.name}" file="projects/${project.name}/fred"/> <execute command="hg -R hg-succeeded/${project.name} pull"/> <execute command="hg -R hg-succeeded/${project.name} tag -l build-${label} -r tip"/> </onsuccess> </publishers> I'm getting tags that look like build-${label}. The ${label} part isn't being replaced by the build label like I expect. I'm expecting something like build.1 to show up in place of ${label}. How do I make this happen? I do have the default labelincrementer configured with a <labelincrementer /> tag in my project. Also, the CruiseControl documentation is absolutely awful. Is there better documentation anywhere?

  • Django: Site-Wide URL Prefix

    I've built a Django site that will live at the root when it's live. Right now it's functioning perfectly at the IP address. For testing purposes, the client has pointed a proxy url at it, but the url has /folder/path in it, so none of the URL patterns match. I put (/folder/path)? into all the url patterns so they now respond, but all of the links are broken because I'm using the {% url %} tag and while the url patterns will match the optional path, they don't include it in that tag. Clearly I can just hard-code /folder/path into all of my urls (well, into all of the url includes) until testing is complete, but is there a better way to do this?

  • How/When/Where to Extend Gem Classes (via class_eval and Modules) in Rails 3?

    What is the recommended way to extend class behavior, via class_eval and modules (not by inheritance) if I want to extend a class buried in a Gem from a Rails 3 app? An example is this: I want to add the ability to create permalinks for tags and categories (through the ActsAsTaggableOn and ActsAsCategory gems). They have defined Tag and Category models. I want to basically do this: Category.class_eval do has_friendly_id :title end Tag.class_eval do has_friendly_id :title end Even if there are other ways of adding this functionality that might be specific to the gem, what is the recommended way to add behavior to classes in a Rails 3 application like this? I have a few other gems I've created that I want to do this to, such as a Configuration model and an Asset model. I would like to be able to add create an app/models/configuration.rb model class to my app, and it would act as if I just did class_eval. Anyways, how is this supposed to work? I can't find anything that covers this from any of the current Rails 3 blogs/docs/gists.

  • iPad portrait... zoomed in on load, div not at full width

    When testing out my site on my iPad, the layout works as expected in landscape mode. When I try it in portrait mode, it is zoomed in, cutting off about 20% of the right hand side. And when I zoom that out, the background of the header and the footer containers only stretches the width that it was when zoomed in. I've dug around a bit online, and I'm suspecting it might have something to do with my meta tag. When I get rid of that tag completely, it displays the way I want it to, but gets rid of any responsive layout that I've designed for less than 767px when I load it on my iPhone. (Displays as if it wasn't responsive at all). Any ideas as to how I might go about fixing this? (Here's one of the pages that I'm talking about http://dotwong.com/test/tip/docking/)

    I have Netbeans installed with Visual Paradigm plugin. I have converted my php code into UML diagrams (modeling - instant reverse). I can see relations (drawn lines) between superclass and subclasses. However, i cannot see relations between objects inside objects (composition/aggregation/association)? The code looks like: class Thread { private $tag = ''; public function __construct($tagObject) { $this->tag = $tagObject; } } I know its possible using Java cause i've read about it. Im using PHP, is this still possible?

  • Change all instances of object to iframe for IE using Jquery

    I was wondering if it would be possible to use jquery to change all object tags on a site automatically to iframe for IE 8 and below. I would like this so that it can be xhtml 1.1 valid and not have to be double coded all the time and you would not have to focus on non-standard browsers. The data attribute would have to be changed to src, I would like frameborder="0" to be inserted, and all styles set to the object tag also set to the iframe tag. I don't want this to turn into a debate on iframes vs objects, I just thing this would be a huge time saver and would encourage proper strict xhtml coding. Thanks for any input!

    I'm a novice at JSF and I got a couple of questions concerning organizing user authentication there. 1) How can i redirect the registered user to a welcome page (for example welcome.xhtml)? I heard about using Filter or navigation-rule tag, but i didn't found a full-blown tutorial of how it works. 2) How can i tell the server that unauthorized users can access not only the login page but also the registration page? Is there an analog for ASP.NET web.config tag or something like this?

    Users writing an article have the option to write some tags, tags are written like this: tag1, tag2, tag3 So tags are stored like: $tags = "tag1, tag2, tag3"; I want to make sure, every tag has a minimum of 3 characters, so i need to validate the tags. I have tried this: $tagsstring = explode(",", $tags); $tagslength = array_map('strlen', $tagsstring); if (min($tagslength) < 3) { echo "Error... Each tag has to be at least 3 characters."; } It seems to work, sometimes... But of you write: tag1, df It wont give an error. Any suggestions?

  • Line breaks in XML are ignored by the SAX Parser

    I am parsing an XML with some CData that contains line breaks. The parser ignores these line breaks. I am trying to figure out a way to catch these newlines in the characters() method and replace them with a break tag for display purposes. I have tried almost everything under the sun and have been scouring stackoverflow for the past 3 hours. I tried every combination of replacing "\n", "\r\n" and so on with a break tag in the characters() method of the parser. I am absolutely helpless right about now.... and would sincerely appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!!!

  • WPF textbox derived control override drag&drop OnPreviewDrop (C sharp)

    Hi, I have been working on my custom control derived from the TextBox and I have encountered a problem I can not solve right now. Brief description of the problem: my textbox contains plain text which contains tags which I want to keep consistent - so far I have overriden text selection so they can be selected only as a whole tag etc. Right now I have moved to processing of drag&drop. If any text is dropped on the textfield and it is dropped on the tag, I want the insertion to be moved before or after the tag. The actual problem is with setting of the e.Handled=true. If I set it to true, it almost works - the text is inserted via my routine, but it is not removed from the source. If I set it to false, after executing my method the original textbox's insertion method is run. Is there any way to alter event routing? Or am I approaching this wrong from the start?   • Added AJAX controls to toolkit but can't add them to webpage, no smart tags

    Added AJAX controls to my toolkit as per directions online. They appear in the AJAX Toolkit tab in the toolbox just fine. Try to add them to design view and does not work. Tried selecting the textbox and clicking the smart tag to add the extender but there is not smart tag. Googled and found suggestion to reset toolbox and re-add AJAX controls. Did that and problem remains. Any help is appreciated!!!

    I would like to use Razor's feature not to produce attribute output inside a tag in case when attribute's value is null. So when Razor meets <div class="@var" where @var is null, the output will be mere <div. I've created some Html extension method to write text inside tag. Searching the internet, and noting the fact the html given back by the items is a list i.e. <li>, I thought I could use an example of: var listcontrol = document.getElementById('BulletedList1'); var countItems = listcontrol.getElementByTagName('li').length; However, when I do this, it throws and error saying that no object exists for this control. So, my problem is, and because I must do this clientside because I want to use this to set the height of the div tag, is how do you count the number of items inside a asp:bulletedlist control with javascript?

  • PHP class that changes an image and reloads the page not displaying new image in Internet Explorer

    I have a class that runs a function when the image is clicked on to display an additional image. This function produces a linked div tag that reloads the page with a set of variables that then produces another image. The image is set as a background image on a large div tag behind the linked div tags to give the same effect as an image map but without using an image map or a SVG. This works perfectly in Chrome and Firefox but will not display the new image in Internet Explorer until you F5 the page again with the get variables in the URL? Does anyone know how to fix this issue so that it works in IE the same as the other browsers? Many thanks.

    I have a little problem: slideHelpers.total = 4 for (i=1;i <= slideHelpers.total; i++) { $('<a href="#">' + i + '</a>').bind('click', function(){ alert('go to the ' + i + ' slide')}).appendTo('.slideaccess') } the alert gives out 5 what is logic, because when the function click triggers i is actually 5. But i would like to have the same i as in my <a> tag. What is the best way to handle this? I could put i in the data() of the <a> tag for example but i am sure there is a easier way.

    Using struts2 with jsp with standard struts tag libraries. I'm trying to dynamically hide a DIV on page load, but still send it to the browser. This is so I can show it later via javascript. The request objects one and two are not easily referenced via a jsp:usebean tag.     Hi, ok, I managed to read from xml file using NSXMLParser but now i don't know how to write to xml file. I have a xml file , say <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <root> <user id="abcd" password="pass1"/> <user id="efg" password="pass2"/> </root> Now when a new user enters details, I want to store them in a new tag.. lets say like, the id is "hhhh" and password is"pass3" I want to add a new tag with attributes as such <user id="hhhh" password="pass3"/> to the xml file. How should I do this. Please explain in an elaborate way . I am a newbie here. Any links to tutorials or examples will be much helpful. Thanks
