• Notification / tray icon / applet drop downs disappear or flicker when clicked

  For some reason, after upgrading to 11.10, the tray icon drop-down menus don't persist after a single click about 2/3 of the time. They always work if I click-and-hold, but I'm used to just clicking once to examine the menu. The behavior is not consistent, so the drop down menus will stay after click about 1 in 3 times. I'm running 64 bit Ubuntu on a dual-monitor setup. EDIT: from lspci: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation M116N (rev a2)

• Software Center doesn't show files installed

  When I install a program in the Software Center that happens to install a menu option, it is discoverable through the menu, but if it is a package that is documentation, or command-line only, there is no simple way to discover how to actually access the content / software. Is there a way in the Software Center to see what files or executables were installed with a particular package so I can actually use / read it?

  What is the best resource for serious Commodore 64 programming? Assume that serious programming on the Commodore 64 is not done in BASIC V2 that ships with the Commodore 64. I feel like most of the knowledge is tied up in old books and not available on the internet. All that I have found online are either very beginner style introductions to Commodore 64 programming (Hello world), or arcane demo-coder hacks to take advantage of strange parts of the hardware. I haven't found a well-explained list of opcodes, memory locations for system calls, and general mid-level examples and tips. Main portals I have found: lemon64 C-64 Scene Database c64web Actually hosted on a Commodore 64! Tools I have found: cc65 A C compiler that can target Commodore 64.

• How does one reduce a list of boolean values in Common Lisp?

  Given a list of values, I want to reduce the list to T if all the elements are not NIL, NIL if not. This gives me an error: (apply #'and (get-some-list)) As does this: (reduce #'and (get-some-list)) This is the best I've come up with: [11]> (defun my-and (x y) (and x y)) MY-AND [12]> (reduce #'my-and '(T T T T T)) T [13]> (reduce #'my-and '(T T T T NIL)) NIL Why is "#'and" invalid? Is there a more idiomatic way to do this in Common Lisp?
