• Two Sun Certification Exams To Retire August 1, 2010

  Effective August 1, 2010, Exam CX-310-400 ("Sun Certified Integrator for Identity Manager 7.1"), currently part of the "Sun Certified Integrator for Identity Manager 7.1" certification track, will be retired. We will also retire Exam CX-310-502 ("Sun Certified Java CAPS Integrator"), currently within the "Sun Certified Java CAPS Integrator" certification track. Both exams will remain available for registration and testing at Prometric Testing Centers through July 31, 2010.CREDENTIAL VALIDITYPlease note that that these credentials remain valid indefinitely for those holding the certifications. • Reminder: Oracle Linux 5 Exams Soon To Retire

  This is a reminder that Oracle will retire Oracle Linux System Administration (1Z0-403) and Oracle Linux Fundamentals (1Z0-402) on October 31, 2013. We will also re-release exam 1Z0-402 as Oracle Linux Fundamentals (1Z0-409) on November 1, 2013. New Oracle Linux 5 and 6 OCA and OCP certifications are now available. Existing certification holders should note that these retirements suspend the delivery of any further exams, but do not affect your certification. If you currently hold a certification earned by one of these exams, your credential remains fully valid. Retiring Certification Path Oracle Linux Administrator Certified Associate Retiring Exam 1Z0-402 Oracle Linux Fundamentals (this will be re-released as Oracle Linux Fundamentals (1Z0-409) and lead to the  Oracle Linux Certified Implementation Specialist certification.) 1Z0-403 Oracle Linux System Administration These exams will continue to be offered through October 31, 2013. Candidates pursuing these certification paths must successfully complete the required certification exams by this date. Re-takes will not be available after this date.
