• Deploying Application with mvc in shared hosting server

  We have created an MVC web application in asp.net 3.5, it runs absolutely fine locally but when we deploy it on godaddy hosting server (shared hosting), it shows an error which is related to trust level problem. We contacted godaddy support and they say, that we only support medium trust level application. So how to convert my application in medium trust level. Do I need to make changes to web.config file. • How can I create a graph of Nginx responses by HTTP status code?

  I'm looking to create a graph somewhat similar to this: But instead of graphing requests, graph responses, with a line for each HTTP response code (200 OK, 404 Not Found, 500 Server Error, etc). Creating the graph isn't the issue (use RRDtool, Server Density or something similar), but how can I best retrieve this information from Nginx? Unfortunately, this data isn't available on the page generated by NginxHttpStubStatusModule. If it was, this would be pretty easy.

• Recommendations for remote server management software, similar to Puppet or Canonical Landscape?

  We currently have five Ubuntu 10.04 LTS servers, and keeping them all up-to-date is starting to be a pain. I've been looking into solutions like Puppet and Canonical Landscape. Out of the two I prefer Puppet -- it would be useful to be able to ensure the permissions of various directories on the machines, and define groups and users on the server which are then propagated to clients. Is there any other software in this vein that I should be taking a look at?

• Why would it be necessary to subclass from object in Python?

  I've been using Python for quite a while now, and I'm still unsure as to why you would subclass from object. What is the difference between this: class MyClass(): pass And this: class MyClass(object): pass As far as I understand, object is the base class for all classes and the subclassing is implied. Do you get anything from explicitly subclassing from it? What is the most "Pythonic" thing to do?
