  • template for terms of condition for social media based website?

    - by Rubytastic
Im looking for a template for a terms of usage text based on social media websites. Im actually a coder and not into the legal blabla in general. Ofcourse you could spend a thousand or 2 on a lawyer but just a 3/4 paper text shoulder;t be to hard to compile yourself with some help. Im not sure if this is the right spot to ask this question but I love stack overflow and none of the sites in stack exchange I could find matched better then this one. My first idea lets look at some social media websites and grab some of there text, rewrite it for own specific usage Are there templates on writing such document Same goes with a privacy policy actually.

  • how to run apache2 or nginx + php on iPhone? [closed]

    - by Rubytastic
Is there a way to run Apache2 or Nginx with PHP on the iPhone? Im surprised so little info is available on this topic, as it seems quite interesting to host websites on an iPhone. Consider slow 3G connections or no 3G at all, and you want to demonstrate some webapplication you wrote... hosting them on the iphone would be an awsome way to fix the speed issues with the mobile network speeds. For the Ipad there are several addoptions available, nothing much usable on iphone / nginx apache2 search terms anywhere :( I want to host some websites on my iphone for demonstration purposes. So when im "out the office" Ill be able to very fast browse some websites that I host on the Iphone. there is no decent information out there, does anyone have a lead on how to do this? My question is specific to if nginx or apache2 can be run on the iphone, it would be nice if PHP would run on it too

  • iptables : how to correctly allow incoming and outgoing traffic for certain ports?

    - by Rubytastic
Im trying to get incoming and outgoing traffic to be enabled on specific ports, because I block everything at the end of the iptables rules. INPUT and FORWARD reject. What would be the appropiate way to open certain ports for all traffic incoming and outgoing? From docs I found below but one has to really define both lines? iptables -A INPUT -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 22 -m state --state NEW,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT iptables -A OUTPUT -o eth0 -p tcp --sport 22 -m state --state ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT I try to open ports for xmpp service and some other deamons running on server. • preg_match find multiple partial appearances of a word in a string

    - by Rubytastic
Any regex gurus around here? its driving me crazy. Say I have this string: "bookstore books Booking" I want to count the number "books" appears in this and return the number. Currently I have this which is not working: $string = "bookstore books Booking"; if (preg_match_all('/\b[A-Z]+books\b/', $string, $matches)) { echo count($matches[0]) . " matches found"; } else { echo "match NOT found"; } On top of this the "books" inside the preg_match_all should become a $var Anyone an idea how to count correctly?
