How to be up to date with the LAMP platform?

Most of times I get to know about the new features from my colleagues or someone else. It is okay at least I know about them does not matter from where I know But I feel it is too late to know about those features. I am working on LAMP platform and I want to keep myself up to date with the new things, anything happening new with LAMP. Can you please let me know what resources should I use? What groups should I follow? From where I can get the latest updates about any activity, event and feature about LAMP?

Installing Automator Actions using xcode project

Hi. I have developed some automator actions for osirix. Now i want to install them using xcode project. But when i drag .action files to Resources folder, its actually adding the folders for each action. Also when i build the project and check the application bundle, its not showing any of the actions which i have added to Resources folder. How to do this using Xcode project? Can any body help me out?

conditional update records mysql query

Hi, Is there any single msql query which can update customer DOB? I want to update the DOB of those customers which have DOB greater than current date. example:- if a customer have dob 2034 update it to 1934 , if have 2068 updated with 1968. There was a bug in my system if you enter date less than 1970 it was storing it as 2070. The bug is solved now but what about the customers which have wrong DOB. So I have to update their DOB. Installing app on Devices(iPhone/iPod)

Hi, I have developed an application for iPhone and iPod touch. Now i want to install that app on the device. I have created a provisioning profile for the particular device. My query is that, now to install the app on a device I have to add the provisioning profile of that device to xcode and after selecting the developer in build option in project info pane i build the project and send the build and provisioning profile to the user. Is there any to install the app without doing the above task of building the project with the provisioning profile. Means i have a build of an app and a newly downloaded provisioning profile. I will send the user both build and profile in a zip file. will the user be able to install the app on his/her device?

CSS Horizontal sub menu - IE 6,7 both dont working, tried with whatever hover.

I'm not expert about css menus. But I know basic system to make css menu. I used this system before and works, but this time it is not working. The site is http://www.uniethos.com. Please check this site This menu works with all other latest Browsers. But not with IE 6 & 7. I know IE6 don't support hover except anchor. So before I was using Whatever Hover. But this time it is not working and even with IE7. I don't know why its happening. May be there could be some problem with my css. Please check the css. Deploying Application with mvc in shared hosting server

We have created an MVC web application in asp.net 3.5, it runs absolutely fine locally but when we deploy it on godaddy hosting server (shared hosting), it shows an error which is related to trust level problem. We contacted godaddy support and they say, that we only support medium trust level application. So how to convert my application in medium trust level. Do I need to make changes to web.config file.
