• SEO and Spelling mistakes in keyword

  I am about to register a domain name (suppose) someone.com (with proper spelling), in mind targeting the keyword "SOMEONE". But then I discovered on 'google keyword research tool' that not this but a typo "SOME1" seems to be more popular and people search this significantly more often than the proper keyword. And luckily someone.com and some1.com both are available. I understand that I can register both the domains, but I don't know on which should I keep my website and redirect the other one. Should I make the typo "some1.com" my base site? But that's a typo. P.S., my site has a totally relevant content and not just keyword targeted worthless site. What do you guys suggest? I am confused. How would that affect my SEO ranking?? EDIT: Because the competition for the keyword I am targeting is fairly low, I think nevertheless whatever domain I choose, it will appear on the search engine first page.

  Hi, everyone Please take a look at this piece of code. I'm allocating one byte for the first variable and another byte for the second one. However, it seems like the compiler allocates more (or I'm missing something). • Ubuntu perfomance issues

  I have as deafult Win 7 64b. But i get annoyed by some windows stuff so I decided to install ubuntu and learn Linux, because Win 8 is a nightmare. I have my Ubuntu 12.04 64bit installed in 100gb partition of my 1 Tb disc. My problem is that my Ubuntu feel really slower than Win 7 - even though my Win 7 are after some years of usage and they became much slower. And Ubuntu is just installed OS - I just downloaded wine and skype. It takes some time for new window to appear (its not 10 seconds, but its really slower than my windows). Sometimes my donwload get stuck (in basic ubuntu app store) Its just weird to me. I thought its because of some drivers, but I am really new to linux, so I decided to ask some1 before I screw whole system up. Specs: -6gbs of RAM - 3x2gb -3.0 ghz CPU quadcore -graphic card is HD4870 sapphire Please excuse my poor english and my addiction to windows interface. Pelda

  I have hard time solving my problem. I have searched the net but nothing worked... I just installed the newest ver of ubuntu 11.10 on my laptop dell latitude d630. Everything works fine but it seems i dont have my video card drivers installed. I have some standart drivers. I try to check out my xorg.conf file but its missing i try to make one from root but it gives me critical error.   As i understoond, if we have local service of some application, as soon as the application goes down, the service goes down as well - is that true? and if it is, how can we make an application to run all the time without go down?   Hello i am thinking of installing xubuntu on a dell gx260 pentium 4 pc with: 1.8GHz processor 64mb integrated video card(had other but it died on me) 1GB of RAM Ive installed lubuntu but im not enjoying it since i can not make shortcuts of partitions or folders on desktop for faster usability(i dont want them on my bar, want them on desktop) also the buggs i seen on it made me reconsider of using lubuntu:mplayer not working, no video was working,chromium outdated etc and i dont want to stay all day to find solutions over the internet. And seen on internet from xubuntu that theyve had shortcuts for theyre partitions on desktop, and is more attractive.(can some1 tell me if with xubuntu u can make shortcuts on desktop, i mean the shortcuts remain after reboot) 1 more thing to add:at installing lubuntu when it asked me where to install it only showed me the entire hard drive(i have 3 partitions on it) and made me select the size of the lubuntu partition from 1 that the installer wanted.(from local disk D: from windows xp view),need to mention that i have windows xp on the machine which is on local C:, kept my downloads on local D:, and other stuff on E:. I want an ubuntu distro which would work fine especially for internet purpose. Can someone lend me a hand on this?

  i use said OS and i am missing a window or setting to set the default soundcard. I have a builtin analog soundcard which works just fine and is set as default, also i have a usb headset which works fine eg. with mumble i set input and output on my headset and it just works, also the mute button and volume control on the headset works, but on the default soundcard lol. what i am missing is to set my headset as the default soudcard. i also tried some stuff from there: http://wiki.debian.org/ALSA/ but it seems that alsa is not supported 100% :( some1 here to help? best regards

  Hi, I was wondering if some1 knows where I can see the data of a suspended message in the biztalk database. I need this because about 900 messages have been suspended because of a validation and I need to edit all of them, resuming isn't possible. I know that info of suspended messages are shown in "BizTalkMsgBoxDb" in the table "InstancesSuspended" and that the different parts of each message are shown in the table "MessageParts". However I can't find the table where the actual data is stored. Does anyone have any idea where this can be done? Thx

  hi. I guess this is kind of a idiotic question but i have tried setting onClicklistener on an ImageView and it has worked. But the problem is that the user cannot sense the click. I mean if some of u have worked on other mobile environs(like apple iphone) then wen we click on a Image in other environs then it gives an effect on the image so that the user can understand that the image has been clicked. I have tried setting alpha using "setalpha" method but it doesnt work. Though the same thing is working fine on onFocusListener implementation. Can some1 suggest a different way to modify the image on click... I am new to android so havent learnt the nuances of simple animation also... if there is any simple animation i can use for the same then plzz plzzz let me know... Thanx...

  Hope it's not yet been answered, but I've googled for quite a long time, and I've not been able to get it working. In brief, I've a SL4 page with a DataGrid filled accordingly to parameters passed from the previous page, so I fill the context in code, with a "RIA" query (w/parameters as well). So far, so good. I get the XAML declared columns as expected but the Photo templated column, which holds just an image control. I think I can use the LoadingRow event, but can some1 give me some code on how to get my goal (image is in in the context from DB)? Thanks in advance

  Hi, I want to have a alpha blended window over a video playing in the background. Considering the fact that a window cannot be made alpha blended over another window unless you take a snap of the background, I had to resort to OpenGL. I have few options for this: (1) To show an object on the WinCE window without showing the OpenGL ES window. Is it possible to do this ?? The cab is created and i can copy it on the device and install the app. What im missing is that on device the application is not present in Programs folder. All i can do is browse to its location in /program files and run it manualy. Can some1 tell me how to: install CAB so it makes a shortcut in programs on device run the application automaticly after it has been installed thanx !

  hey people hope all is well.. i am trying to create a form in VS using ASP that when upon submitting a form the details will get automatically stored in an xml file which can be accessed later on a chosen file save path i have 2 files ... "Contact.aspx" and "Contact.aspx.vb" i have created the form in the "Contact.aspx" and when trying to enter the fields in the "contact.aspx.vb" i keep getting several errors such as for example... Error 5 'Formatting' is not a member of 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.XmlBuilder' Error 6 'WriteStartDocument' is not a member of 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.XmlBuilder'. Error 7 'WriteComment' is not a member of 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.XmlBuilder'. Error 8 'WriteStartElement' is not a member of 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.XmlBuilder'. • nginx php-fpm empty site

  I am writing this as I was stuck trying to fix it whole night. We have recently migrated to a new server. Before migration we have been running our site on nginx + cgi (script). After migration we decided to try apache + mod_php. It was rather terrible, and I would like to migrate back to nginx, but this time I want it with php-fpm (as people say its a cool) So I did follow a number of guides and I think i done everything correctly. As well as that I have our old config files for "server" section, which i reviewed and places into new config. So I ended up having an empty site when I enter our URL. (By empty I mean blank page, no letter, errors or anything at all.) In the access log there are some weird errors like: 123.242.148.54 - - [22/Mar/2012:06:08:11 +0200] "-" 400 0 "-" "-" My guess is that php-fpm is not working, but not sure how to confirm it.
