  I'm very pleased to welcome Sreelatha Doma to this blog's panel of guest authors.  Sreelatha Doma is a Principal Engineer - Database Administration in the Oracle Applications Technology Integration team, with a current focus on database technology.  She has been with Oracle since October 2005.  She was an EBS technology stack certification engineer for four years, and was involved in various technology product certifications for databases, RAC, browsers, Forms and middleware products. Prior to joining Oracle, she worked as a database administrator and Senior Technical Officer in Electronics and Communications India Limited (ECIL) and the Department of Atomic Energy.  She started her career as a software developer. Sreelatha has been in in the IT industry for over 13 years, and holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.

• How to handle touch events on UI Controls

  Hi, I have a query related to Touch events on the UI controls. I have 4 controls on the screen ( UITextField, UISlider, UISwitch, UIButton ). If the user touches any of the control on the screen, I want to fire touchesBegan and touchesEnded events on those controls in which I would implement some code. • Customized Database Listener Names Now Supported for EBS

  The database listener name can now be configured using AutoConfig with newly introduced context variable s_db_listener. Prior to this certification it was not possible to use AutoConfig generated listener.ora files for managing listeners from SRVCTL when there were multiple RAC instances on the same server.To use this feature E-Business Suite customers need to apply the following patch:11.5.10CU2 - Roll Up Patch 9535311 (RUP-U) or higher12.0.x - R12.TXK.A.delta.7 or higher 12.1.x - R12.TXK.B.delta 3 or higher
