I'm referring to how to make my web application resolution independent so that it will look correct on higher DPI displays.

• JQuery: How to perform a "push" slide, not a slide up?

  I using the following JQuery: $("#pushSlideDiv").slideDown("fast"); However, this creates a "slide" effect. Meaning, if I do a slidedown, this makes the underlining DIV reveal it's self from a top-to-bottom reveal. I want a "push" effect, where the slidedown instead reveals as though the div is being pushed onto the page ... where you first see the bottom of the div. How can I do this with JQuery? UPDATE: This isn't a great example, but it does show a push effect that I'm trying to accomplish vs a "slide" effect.

• Rychlejší aplikace i bez zmen dotazu - 2.díl - vliv vázaných promenných

  V minulém díle jsme si na vzorovém príkladu vkládání 100.000 záznamu ukázali jak velkou zátež muže pro databázový server znamenat zbytecne casté commitování. Dobu zpracování této operace jsme snížili ze 167 na 105 sekund, tedy o tretinu. Ke slibovanému osmdesátinásobnému zrychlení nám chybí ješte dva kroky. V záveru predchozího dílu jsme zjistili, že parsování (rozbor a optimalizace) dotazu zabralo serveru celých 74 ze zminovaných 105 sekund. Svou pozornost dnes zameríme práve na minimalizaci casu parsování.

  Období Premier Support pro produkty E-Business Suite verze 11.5.10 skoncilo v listopadu 2010. Na základe cetných žádostí zákazníku a analýzy trhu se Oracle rozhodl poskytovat zákazníkum Extended Support v prvním roce bez dodatecných poplatku. To pravdepodobne všichni zákazníci EBS vedí. Toto období koncí 30.11.2011. Zákaznící, kterí budou chtít Extended Support i nadále využívat si jej budou muset od 1.12.2011 tedy zakoupit. V opacném prípade automaticky precházejí na uroven podpory Sustaining Support. Pro plné využití úrovne služby Extended Support je treba splnovat stanovenou minimální úroven opatchování - tzv. "minimum baseline patch requirements" Prímo v E-Business Suite je nástroj, který tuto úroven automaticky zkontroluje.
