• Limit rate of outgoing UDP packets per second

  Hi, since Teamspeak version 3 sends lots of packets per user and our provider is getting problems with his infrastructure above 20.000 packets per second we have to limit it that our servers are not going to be shut down. Red a lot about iptables but was not able to find the right rules. Could you give me an advise how to manage that the server is not going to send more than 19k packets per seconds? • Extend precision of MySQL's double datatype?

  I am trying to save the value "6.714285714285714" into a DOUBLE datatype field. Unfortunately it does not fit at all and is cutted by one char. Storing larger numbers becomes less precise. Already searched in the mysql manual and it seems to be that double is the most precise data type available. Anyone knows a practicable workaround? Sorry for my bad english and thx a lot!
