I installed RedHat as a guest, and it installed fine.
However, I do not have a connection to the internet, I bring up a browser and it cannot surf anywhere.
Would someone be able to give me some things to check/do to figure out the issue?
I'd like to make a backup/image of my machine, so that I may install it if i ever need to.
What I mean by image is a snapshot of all of my programs, settings, files, everything, i think this is referred to as a ghost image.
I want to be able to restore so I do not have to reinstall everything again.
Does the backup/restore utility in Windows Server 2008 R2 do this?
Is it possible to install Windows 7 64-bit, then somehow install Windows Server 2008 R2 as a second OS, a dual boot situation, then on start up, choose which OS to boot into?
I want to use Windows Server 2008 R2 as a host, and load RedHat as a guest OS.
Should I use VMWare, or does Windows have something built in that competes with VMWare?
I have an Hp/Compaq laptop, intel, 2 processors, using 64 bit.
I want to install Java 5 SDK, I see references to AMD 64 bit, I am assuming that is different from intel?
Is there a Java 5 sdk for my environment?
