• Should Windows Multipoint Server stations on individual video cards support hardware video acceleration?

  I've set up a test machine with multiple PCI-e nVidia GF440 Video cards and installed Windows Multipoint Server 2011. I use the same kind of hardware set up with a BeTwin multiseat solution to create a class lab for Google SketchUp teaching (highly OpenGL dependent) and it works ok. On the Multipoint Windows test machine the drivers seem to be installed OK but I don´t seem to get any hardware video acceleration. Is this a intrinsic limitation of this solution or am I doing something wrong?

• Is there a software alternative to Mac OS X built in internet sharing services?

  The Internet Sharing feature in Mac OS X (available at the "sharing" System Preferences panel) seems to be somewhat limited, it does not have the ability to use WPA when sharing through AirPort for instance. Is there a simple software alternative that will use a MacBook Pro built in AirPort card to create a local wi-fi access point?

• trouble loggin into a Mac share from a Windows PC on the network

  I have this mixed network and usually log into the Macs from the Windows XP home machines and vice versa. I have no real networking knowledge, things just seem to work, more or less, with the default settings. Now I've got a new Snow Leopard Mac with a shared folder (added the user names of the Windows users at the sharing preferences) and the trouble is some machines can open the share and others can't. I can't see the difference. It feels like some Windows machines have a "cache" and won't ask for the share password, just deny access. I can also see old shares proposed at the Windows "add network place wizard".
