• Help with Ms Access 2007 Combo boxes

  What's the most efficient way to "chain" combo/boxes in an Access 2007 form, so that the result of the first affected the contents of the second? I already know how to associate a combo box on a form with a query. Here's a example of my scenario: cmbCarMake Behavior: User starts typing, and list shows all manufacturers in a table starting with those characters (e.g., "Ford") cmbCarModel Behavior: Once cmbCarMake has a selected a Make, this object will limit the possible models the user can search for by only displaying models from that one manufacturer. • How can I display images on a MS Access 2007+ form with a hyperlink source?

  I am looking improve the efficiency of an Access 2010 database by using a web server with images and only storing the hyperlink source (i.e, http://www.images.com/images/image1.jpg) in the table. I know that one can save images as "attachements", using a "blob" object type, but when you're dealing with thousands of images, queries are bogged down, and performance suffers. So in short, is there are relatively simple way of displaying images on MS Access forms with a source that is a hyperlink address (storing files locally and using filepaths is not preferable).   Hi - I'm looking for a good example of using Regular Expressions in PHP to "reverse engineer" a form letter (with a known format, of course) that has been pasted into a multiline textbox and sent to a script for processing. So, for example, let's assume this is the original plain-text input (taken from a USDA press release): WASHINGTON, April 5, 2010 - North American Bison Co-Op, a New Rockford, N.D., establishment is recalling approximately 25,000 pounds of whole beef heads containing tongues that may not have had the tonsils completely removed, which is not compliant with regulations that require the removal of tonsils from cattle of all ages, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.   Hi - we are all familiar with "embedding" PHP scripts in HTML pages to do tasks like displaying form results, but how can that be done in a way that displays XML? For example, if I wrote: <? xml version='1.0' ?> <Responses> <?php $body = $_GET['Body']; $fromPh = $_GET['From']; echo echo "<Msg>Your number is: $fromPh, and you typed: $body.</Msg>" ?> </Response> I get a message that states "parse error, unexpected T_STRING on line 1".   I learning ASP.net, and am looking to create a rather straightforward WebForms ASP.net application, but I have very limited examples to work with. Is there a site that has a lot of ASP.net WebForms projects that are downloadable? Books seem to focus on narrow aspects of using Webforms, like session control, or using master pages, but I'm looking for examples of how a whole app comes together. Or, better yet, is there someone willing to help a new developer out one-on-one by sharing a project or two of his? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

  I'm trying to to convert an existing PHP Regular Expression match case to apply to a slightly different style of document. Here's the original style of the document: **FOODS - TYPE A** ___________________________________ **PRODUCT** 1) Mi Pueblito Queso Fresco Authentic Mexican Style Fresh Cheese; 2) La Fe String Cheese **CODE** Sell by date going back to February 1, 2009 And the successfully-running PHP Regex match code that only returns "true" if the line is surrounded by asterisks, and stores each side of the "-" as $m[1] and $m[2], respectively. if ( preg_match('#^\*\*([^-]+)(?:-(.*))?\*\*$#', $line, $m) ) { // only for **header - subheader** $m[2] is set. if ( isset($m[2]) ) { return array(TYPE_HEADER, array(trim($m[1]), trim($m[2]))); } else { return array(TYPE_KEY, array($m[1])); } } So, for line 1: $m[1] = "FOODS" AND $m[2] = "TYPE A"; Line 2 would be skipped; Line 3: $m[1] = "PRODUCT", etc. The question: How would I re-write the above regex match if the headers did not have the asterisks, but still was all-caps, and was at least 4 characters long?   Using ASP.net, what methods can I use to do the following: Open up a connection to a given URL to read HTML content Parse the given URL for hyperlinks, and place them in an array Loop through each hyperlink (only 1 level down), opening each one, saving the HTML contents in a table, and move to the next hyperlink until done.   I'm looking for an example of how to split-out comma-delimited data in a field of one table, and fill in a second table with those individual elements, in order to make a one-to-many relational database schema.   Good morning - I'm an intermediate-level developer who wants to build on online data-driven app (CRUD with a few calculations and basic HTML form inputs, nothing fancy) that keeps track of user sessions, and looks "professional" (or at least not "homemade"). I'm looking to development something with the look-and-feel that users get from sites like: http://www.datamasher.org/ http://www.thisweknow.org/ (About page says it was made with Ruby on Rails, which I'm unfamiliar with) (stackoverflow.com) Any pointers on whether I should just go the Miscrosoft route, and develop in ASP.net with WebForms, or if there's a quick qay to do this kind of development (with a WYSIWYG environment) on an open-source platform? I'm willing to learn, if it's somethat I can use to quickly drag/drop, add code, and publish online. Templates would be a plus, too. I apologize is the question seems a bit vague.
