• Horizontal SlideUp SlideDown with Scriptaculous

  Hello ! You may know the scriptaculous SlideUp effect. Well, It slides up a div vertically as a closing effect. I would like to make it work horizontal. There is an option for this : scaleX:true, scaleY:false But it doesn't work fine : the div jumps down before closing... Does anyone know how to use the slideUp effect for horizontal sliding ? Thanks

  Hello, I want to select the 10 last messages you received OR you sent TO different users. For example the results must be shown like that : 1. John1 - last message received 04/17/10 3:12 2. Thomy - last message sent 04/16/10 1:26 3. Pamela - last message received 04/12/10 3:51 4. Freddy - last message received 03/28/10 9:00 5. Jack - last message sent 03/20/10 4:53 6. Tom - last message received 02/01/10 7:41 ..... Table looks like : CREATE TABLE `messages` ( `id` int(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, `time` timestamp NOT NULL DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP, `sender` int(11) DEFAULT NULL, `receiver` int(11) DEFAULT NULL, `content` text ) Have someone any solution ? • jquery selection with .not()

  Hello, I have some troubles with jQuery. I have a set of Divs with .square classes. Only one of them is supposed to have an .active class. This .active class may be activated/de-activated onClick. Here is my code : jQuery().ready(function() { $(".square").not(".active").click(function() { //initialize $('.square').removeClass('active'); //activation $(this).addClass('active'); // some action here... }); $('.square.active').click(function() { $(this).removeClass('active'); }); }); My problem is that the first function si called, even if I click on an active .square, as if the selector was not working. In fact, this seems to be due to the addClass('active') line... Would you have an idea how to fix this ? Thanks
