• How do I install Catia V5 in Wine?

  I try to install Catia V5R19 (or V5R18) using Wine. I have Ubuntu 12.04 with all up dates. I install wine Terminal winetricks vcrun2005 vcrun2008 I copy msdrm.dll in *.wine/drive_c/windows/system32* I mount Catia ISO and launch setup.exe Error : Wrong parameters The setup launches, and after validating the installation I got a frozen screen See screenshot < Any advice ? • How to debug applications using COM interfaces?

  I' building an application using C# which will use CATIA COM modules. When I import the COM inside my c# project, I think that Visual C# express generates the Interop automagically for me. All of this works correctly. However, when I try to debug the application and use watches during runtime, every object is a System.__ComObject and I cannot get their "real" value. Is there a way to tell the debugger the types of my COM objects? The goal is to get more familiar with this new API I don't know really well. Sometimes its rather hard to guess the correct types for everything since the interface hierarchy is quite deep

• How can I terminate wisptis.exe in Windows XP SP2

  I am working in a production environment. Basically I work on graphics oriented enviroment so I used to work on catia and windchill as well. When I am opening a part or diagram in Catia along with CNEXT .exe (catia service) wisptis.exe is starting and making the system halt and Catia will crash. So I need to restart the worksation or I need to close all applications then I need to open catia then again the same problem. So please tell me how to avoid this or stop the wisptis.exe service. If I want to work on catia I need to kill wisptis.exe service otherwise I cant work.

• can anyone help me through the preparation of Eclipse IDE for android developer in ubuntu 12.04?

  I'm new to to Linux, in this particular case, to Ubuntu. I have a small android project I have to finnish until this Friday and I'm still stuck with the install and preparing of the development envrironment. The only thing I did was install the Eclipse IDE. I'm still missing the SDK, JAVA and anything else that might be needed. Can someone help me through this? It's only because I'm running out of time to develop, or else I would embarc on a deeper investigation of this OS. • Dependency not satisfiable - Offline deb package install

  I have a new installation that has no chance of an internet connection. Since I want to add a few development software packages, I downloaded a few *.deb files. The problem is that for every package I try to install I get the same error: "Dependency not satisfiable...." Also downloaded other versions of that software (the deb files) but it didn't work. I've researched other questions in here and Google and I haven't been able to solve this yet.

• Trouble creating a makefile

  Hi everyone! I'm having some trouble making a Makefile. Write now I just compile everything every time. Although, the professor is ok with that, I do want to get it working faster and to avoid unnecessary compiling. Here's what I have. FILES= p6.cpp SetIter.cpp Node.cpp Set.cpp CFLAGS= -ansi -pendantic -Wall -Wextra CC= g++ MakePg6: p6.cpp SetIter.cpp Node.cpp Set.cpp $(CC) $(CFLAGS) $(FILES) -o pg6 Node.cpp - node class Set.cpp - uses nodes. Friend of Node. SetIter.cpp - gets a set and uses a pointer to iterator through I'm confused with some of the depencies arising from the friends thing and the point of lib.o being included in the Makefile as some sites have. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
