• Unable to install .NET Framework 3.5 to my XP machine

  I have an application that requires .NET 3.5, but I can't install it. The installer quits saying "it has encoutered a problem during setup. If I look at some of the error logs in the tmp directory I see. Error occurred while initializing fusion. It seems that I have 2.0 SP1 installed. Any ideas how I can get it to work? I went through the temp directory and found these references to the error. Any ideas? • How to setup wireless radio to network using 2 nics?

  I am having problems setting up this network, hopefully someone can help me. Laptop <- Wireless Radio <- ... - Wireless Radio <- CPU1( NIC1,NIC2) <- SWITCH <- CPU2 I have a computer with 2 NICs (CPU1). One goes to a wireless radio that connects to a wireless laptop, the other NIC goes to network switch. I can't connect Wireless Radio to switch due to space constraints. All the machines and radios are on same network addresses. I tried using Window's Bridge network which did allow Laptop to reach CPU2, but not CPU1. What is the way to get this to work so all the computers can talk to each other?

• Using matlab, why does something like fts.data work in one directory but not another?

  I am working with the finacial tooldbox that has a type called FINTS, If I copy some code out of its toolbox directory to customize it, when I try do do something like fts.data, I get The specified field, 'data', does not exist in the object. But the same thing works fine in the matlab library directory. They are both in my path, so what else do I need to change? Thanks.

• Using matlab and Time Series object (fints), how can I make an array of them?

  I am getting stock prices from yahoo, and want to have each stock have its own time series data structure, but also don't want to have hundreds of variables, so naturally I would want to have an array, but when I do something like array = [stock1 stock2]; it actually merges the series together. • OpenGL texture not showing up on some computers, problem with auxDIBImageLoad?

  I have a simple openGL GUI that has uses a bmp as a texture. The problem is on some computers the texture doesn't show up. But on ones with newer OpenGL drivers it works. How can I make it more compatible. I think the problem may be with auxDIBImageLoad. When I inspect the result, I see the x,y correct, but the data pointer points to memory bank with all zeros. What could be wrong?
