I want to compare dates in my query, dates from my DB are in this format: (MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS AM) I want to compare this date with tomorrow's day, today plus one.   • Dates not recognized as dates in pivot table pulling directly from SQL Server

    My pivot pulls from an external data source with a date column. Excel doesn't see this column as a date and the 'Format Cells' option panel doesn't change how the dates are displayed. The cell data is left-aligned, suggesting a string rather than a date. I have tried cast(myvar as date) and convert(varchar, myvar, 101) and convert(varchar, myvar, 1) in the base table, but none of these have been picked up by Excel as dates. If the column is recognized as a date, I can group by week and month. I understand that if I can't fix this, the next step is to add columns with weeks and months for each date to the table, but I'd like to give formatting the column one more shot before doing that.

Suppose I want to select more than 3 Years (01/01/2003 to 01/01/2008). The above query should not suitable. How to modify my query? Or any other query is available for the above condition.     Hello, I'm trying to select and de-select dates on a C# Web Calendar control. The problem I have is that I can select or deselect dates except when there is only a single date selected. Clicking on it does not trigger the selection changed event, so Ineed to do something on the dayrender event but I'm not sure what or how. Any ideas?     Hey stackers, I’ve been grinding my head on this for a while… My goal is to return all dates that fall between a start and end date and have a certain period as a factor, from the start date. (hard to explain) For example… Start Date: Nov 20, 1987; End Date: Jan 01, 1988; Period: 10 days; I want these dates: Nov 20, 1987; Nov 30, 1987; Dec 10, 1987; Dec 20, 1987; Dec 30, 1987; I already have a date table with all dates from 1900 to 2099. The period could be by days, months or years. Any ideas? Let me know if you need more info.

I am now using beforeShowDay to highlight these dates but I can't seem to figure it out Got a sample from here Basically, it is customized to highlight 11 or 12 days after the selected date (Here's the code from that link). $('#datePicker').datepicker({beforeShowDay: function(date) { if (selected != null && date.getTime() selected.getTime() && (date.getTime() - selected.getTime()) Since I am new to using the UI, and the logic is not clear to me yet, I can't seem to figure this out.     Hello I'm doing some data conversion from PostgreSQL to Microsoft SQL Server. So far it has all went well and I almost have the entire database dump script running. There is only one thing that is now messed up: dates. The dates are dumped to a string format. These are two example formats I've seen so far: '2008-01-14 12:00:00' and the more precise '2010-04-09 12:23:45.26525' I would like a regex (or set of regexs) that I could run so that will replace these with SQL Server compatible dates. Anyone know how I can do that?

    We have some legacy string dates that I need to convert to actual dates that can be used to perform some date logic. Converting to a date object isn't a problem if I knew what the format were! That is, some people wrote 'dd month yy', othes 'mon d, yyyy', etc. So, I was wondering if anybody knew of a py module that attempts to guess date formats and rewrites them in a uniform way?     I have 2 integer fields that represent dates in the YYYYMMDD format. What is the best way to subtract 2 of these fields to get the correct # of days between them? For instance, if I take the difference between 20100511 and 20100428 I would like the result to be 13 and not 83.     What I need is something like Hashtable which I will fill with prices that were actual at desired days. For example: I will put two prices: January 1st: 100USD, March 5th: 89USD. If I search my hashtable for price: hashtable.get(February 14th) I need it to give me back actual price which was entered at Jan. 1st because this is the last actual price. Normal hashtable implementation won't give me back anything, since there is nothing put on that dat. I need to see if there is such implementation which can find quickly object based on range of dates.

  • How to handle dates that repeat indefinitely

    I am implementing a fairly simple calendar on a website using PHP and MySQL. I want to be able to handle dates that repeat indefinitely and am not sure of the best way to do it. For a time limited repeating event it seems to make sense to just add each event within the timeframe into my db table and group them with some form of recursion id. But when there is no limit to how often the event repeats, is it better to a) put records in the db for a specific time frame (eg the next 2 years) and then periodically check and add new records as time goes by - The problem with this is that if someone is looking 3 years ahead, the event won't show up b) not actually have records for each event but instead when i check in my php code for events within a specified time period, calculate wether a repeated event will occur within this time period - The problem with this is that it means there isn't a specific record for each event which i can see being a pain when i then want to associate other info (attendance etc) with that event. It also seems like it might be a bit slow Has anyone tried either of these methods? If so how did it work out? Or is there some other ingenious crafty method i'm missing?

In most (if not all) the search results for our downloadable files, the Google snippets show dates which are less than when those files were actually published, from one to three months before. It would be impossible since those files did not even exist before the dates mentioned. The dates themselves do not seem to have any significance in our site.
