• The videocard driver killed Unity

  Hy, I just installed the ubuntu 11.04. After I restarted the PC I got a little notification that some drivers are missing, I click to activate the driver. So after the activation I can't use the unity. When in the preference page I click to the Ati catalyst control center I get the following error: There was a problem initializing Catalyst Control Center Linux edition. It could be caused by the following. No ATI graphics driver is installed, or the ATI driver is not functioning properly. Please install the ATI driver appropriate for you ATI hardware, or configure using aticonfig. My video card is ATI so I don't know what is the problem!?!

• Unable to start backuppc

  I had a ext4 drive today I replaced with a RAID drive, I moved all the files from the old HDD. After that I tried to start the Backuppc but I'm getting the following error: Can't create a test hardlink between a file in /media/WESYS_RAID/backups/nbackuppc/pc and /media/WESYS_RAID/backups/nbackuppc/cpool. Either these are different file systems, or this file system doesn't support hardlinks, or these directories don't exist, or there is a permissions problem, or the file system is out of inodes or full. Use df, df -i, and ls -ld to check each of these possibilities. Quitting... • TCP port are filtered in VirtualBox

  I'm running Ubuntu using VirtualBox to test a server application, but I couldn't get it work the communication. I used nmap to check whether the port is open or not: nmap -T4 -n vbip -p 30000 Host is up (0.00061s latency). PORT STATE SERVICE 30000/tcp filtered unknown when I'm checking the port inside the VirtualBox, than the port is open Host is up (0.00061s latency). PORT STATE SERVICE 30000/tcp open unknown I'm using bridge connection, does the VB filter the ports?
