  • Bridged network between Ubuntu Desktop 10.10 host and Ubuntu Server 10.10 Guest

    - by Jon Cram
I run Ubuntu 10.10 Desktop on my machine and have installed Ubuntu Server 10.10 in a Virtualbox VM. I'm running Virtualbox 4.0.2. It is not virtualbox-ose. I'd like the guest OS to have an IP address on my local network so that I can run server software and access this from the host OS. My intention is to run a Hudson CI server in the guest OS. I understand I need to set up a network bridge for this to work, however I don't understand what I need to do for this to happen. I have tried following the instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/VirtualBox/Networking, however I run into two issues towards the end: "To take the modifications into account, restart the VirtualBox host networking script". I don't have Virtualbox-ose installed and guide suggests sudo /etc/init.d/vboxnet restart, however /etc/init.d/vboxnet does not exist for me. The end of the guide refers to the vboxusers group. I don't have such a group and am not sure why I need this or how it should be created. I'm simply looking to allow the guest OS to have an IP on my local network so that I can access servers on the guest OS from the host OS. What changes do I need to make to both the host and guest OSs for this to work?

  • Bridged VM guest does not get IPv6 prefix

    - by Arne
I have a similar problem and setup as described in IPv6 does not work over bridge. My host get a IPv6 prefix but the guest VM only gets a local fe80-prefix. Using tcpdump I can see that solicit messages are going out from the guest but the host (ubuntu-server) doesn't seem to respond: arne@ubuntu-server:/var/log$ sudo tcpdump -i br0 host fe80::5054:00ff:fe4d:9ae0 tcpdump: verbose output suppressed, use -v or -vv for full protocol decode listening on br0, link-type EN10MB (Ethernet), capture size 65535 bytes 14:31:15.314419 IP6 fe80::5054:ff:fe4d:9ae0 > ff02::16: HBH ICMP6, multicast listener report v2, 4 group record(s), length 88 14:31:15.322337 IP6 fe80::5054:ff:fe4d:9ae0 > ff02::16: HBH ICMP6, multicast listener report v2, 1 group record(s), length 28 14:31:15.502374 IP6 fe80::5054:ff:fe4d:9ae0 > ff02::16: HBH ICMP6, multicast listener report v2, 1 group record(s), length 28 14:31:15.743894 IP6 fe80::5054:ff:fe4d:9ae0.dhcpv6-client > ff02::1:2.dhcpv6-server: dhcp6 solicit 14:31:15.802389 IP6 fe80::5054:ff:fe4d:9ae0 > ff02::16: HBH ICMP6, multicast listener report v2, 4 group record(s), length 88 14:31:17.906580 IP6 fe80::5054:ff:fe4d:9ae0.dhcpv6-client > ff02::1:2.dhcpv6-server: dhcp6 solicit I had a firewall issue which I fixed by adding the following (copied from similar IPv4 before.rules settings) to /etc/ufw/before6.rules at the end before the commit statement: # allow bridging (for KVM) -I FORWARD -m physdev --physdev-is-bridged -j ACCEPT I am running the host on a Ubuntu 14.04 server so I guess I could have used dnsmasq but I didn't find any howto for it so I used radvd (which had to be installed) with the following configuration in /etc/radvd.conf: interface br0 { AdvSendAdvert on; AdvLinkMTU 1480; prefix 2a01:79d:xxx::/64 { AdvOnLink on; AdvAutonomous on; }; }; This didn't help though so I guess I must have configured it wrong? Any help appreciated. Br, Arne PS: I wish the Ubuntu documentation included how to configure virtualization to work with IPv6

  • Access Configuration Page of Modem (in bridge mode) through router

    - by Ujjwal Singh
Given the Network Configuration: Internet (121.243.x.y/27) | (121.243.x.z) Static : Public Global IP Modem Bridge Mode | WiMAX (192.168.1.1/24) +169.254.1.1/24 : Modem Configuration Page | (192.168.1.2) Router DLink DIR 615 | Ethernet + WiFi (192.168.0.1/24) | Local network (192.168.0.2) Workstation Ethernet | no WiFi Is there any way, maybe using Routing Tables, to access the Modem configuration page at 169.254.1.1 from my local network, using a Windows 7 PC? Note that the modem is currently able to display its configuration page at 169.254.1.1, i.e. even while it is in bridge mode.

  • Transfer VLAN tagged packets over WLAN?

    - by stefan.at.wpf
I have the following composition of devices: [selfmade router] - ethernet - [WLAN router 1] ----- wlan ------ [WLAN router 2] WLAN router 2 has 5 ethernet ports, each as an own VLAN, so 5 VLANs. I want to manage the routing and firewalling between those VLANs at selfmade router. What technique would I use to pass the tagged vlan packets from WLAN router 2 to selfmade router? Could I use a bridge from WLAN router 2 to WLAN router 1 which itself has a bridge from WLAN router 1 to selfmade router or do I have a wrong understanding of a bridge? Thanks for any hint on this :-)

  • No HDMI audio in 13.04

    - by King84
I have just upgraded from 12.10 to 13.04 and now everything works perfectly, except the fact that I have no audio via HDMI. I am using a Samsung tv-monitor connected via HDMI to my video card Asus EAH4670/DI/1GD3 (which has a Radeon HD 4670 gpu on it), installed phisically into my motherboard which is a MSI 770-C45. I am running kernel 3.9, I just have no sound. I tried downloading and installing https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-audio-dev/+archive/alsa-daily/+files/oem-audio-hda-daily-dkms_0.201304261252~raring1_all.deb , but without any good result. Please help, I need my audio back. • How to share internet connection on Mac os x to Virtualbox vm’s using Host-only

    - by redben
In one line : is the following possible : Airport <- "osx bridge" - vbox-Host-only - vm's Virtualbox (3.1.4) setup : Host : Mac OS X 10.5 Guest : Ubuntu Linux adapter1 - Bridged (en1: Airport) : To give the vm access to internet and communicate when Airport is connected adapter2 - Host-Only (vboxnet0) : To enable host/guest communication when Airport is not connected I'd like to make it simpler and only keep adapter 2 (host-only) and relying on os x connection sharing/bridging I thought i could just keep the Host only configuration, and on the host go to internet sharing and select "share from airport" to vboxnet0 . Only to find out that vbox's virtual interface doesn't appear in the interfaces list on os x preferences. I know that on a linux host you could install something called bridge-utils and use that to bridge the two insterfaces. Is there any thing like that for Mac ?

  • On Mikrotik RouterOS, is it possible to get Netflow information from a bridged connection?

    - by Tim
I have a RouterOS box set up to bridge two ethernet connections. I have use-ip-firewall=yes in the bridge configuration, so that the ports go through the firewall. I've enabled netflow reporting via ip/traffic-flow, but the only packets I see reported are broadcast and multicast packets, not the packets that are flowing through the bridge. The documentation indicates that traffic flow logging happens after firewall processing and that it won't work with bridged connections by default, but I would have thought that use-ip-firewall=yes ought to address this. Is it possible to make this work somehow?

  • NEC uPD720200 USB 3.0 not working on Ubuntu 12.04

    - by Jagged
I've recently installed Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit on a HP Envy 15 1104tx. Most stuff appears to be working fine with the exception of the two USB3 ports (USB2 port works fine). I've read a lot of articles but so far have not been able to find a solution. I've tried adding 'pci=nomsi' to '/etc/default/grub' but this made no difference. Some articles suggest booting into Windows and upgrading the firmware on the uPD720200. Any body had any experience of this? Is there a way I can checked the firmware version of the NEC uPD720200 in Linux to see if there is an update available? Any help appreciated. uname -a: Linux HP-ENVY-15-1104tx 3.2.0-26-generic #41-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 14 17:49:24 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux lshw: hp-envy-15-1104tx description: Notebook • Network bridge does not work on Windows 7

    - by D. Strout
I am trying to use Windows 7 to bridge my wireless and wired connections together to get wireless on a second Windows XP computer (fresh install). The network bridge is created successfully, but when I connect the cable from the first computer with the bridged connections to the second one with just a wired connection, nothing happens. The second computer doesn't connect, and the first computer shows no sign of anything different. I tried bridging the connections of a third computer, and connecting this computer to the second computer. This worked (third computer bridged the wireless to the second computer). Thus, the problem must be with the first (Win 7) computer. However, I have no idea what the problem could be. All Internet Connection Sharing is turned off. Homegroup is disabled (it was originally enabled, I thought that might be a problem, so I disabled it). Also, I had VMWare fusion installed, and that created extra items in the "This connection uses the following items" box in the properties dialog. Thinking this might be causing issues, I uninstalled that too. Still, with everything I tried, I can't get it to work. Any suggestions? Edit: Another thing I noticed that might be worth mentioning: The network icon in the Win7 taskbar has a red X on it that means it's not connected, but when I click the icon, it says connected next to my wireless connection, and I am able to access the internet.

  • Fedora 17 transparent Ethernet Bridge not forwarding IP traffic

I am running on Fedora 17 with the latest ebtables and have been trying to setup a transparent bridge - using the following script, I send a ping through the bridged host and only see the requests on the bridge (among other traffic from eth0), BUT, arps and arp replies are making it through. • HP Pavilion tx2000 - Wifi adapter no longer works after moving from 12.04 to a 12.10 clean install

    - by Marek L.
I have a HP Pavilion tx2000 that I have been running Ubuntu 12.04 on for a couple of months without any problems (wifi worked great) until yesterday when my hard drive failed. I replaced the hard drive and decided to install Ubuntu 12.10. Unlike 12.04, the wifi did not work after the installation finished and all the updates where installed (over Ethernet). The network drop down in the top right didn't even show a wireless option. I Googled about for a bit and found some solutions that seemed like they might work. Unfortunately they did not. Here is what I tried: sudo apt-get remove bcmwl-kernel-source sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-lpphy-installer Restart the computer. And the wifi still didn't work. At which point I panicked a bit and tried to undo the previous commands by running: sudo apt-get remove b43-fwcutter firmware-b43-lpphy-installer sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source Restart the computer. The wifi still doesn't work. This is where I stopped because I have no idea what I am doing and don't want to mess something up. The network drop down still doesn't show a wireless option and the hardware wifi switch on the laptop is amber (it turns blue when the wifi is on). Using the hardware switch does not change the color. Output from: sudo lspci ... 08:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4322 802.11a/b/g/n Wireless LAN Controller (rev 01) ... Pushing the hardware switch turns the hard block back on and I have to run sudo rfkill unblock all multiple times again to turn it off. Any help is appreciated! • tproxy squid bridge very slow when cache is full

    - by Roberto
    I have installed a bridge tproxy proxy in a fast server with 8GB ram. The traffic is around 60Mb/s. When I start for first time the proxy (with the cache empty) the proxy works very well but when the cache becomes full (few hours later) the bridge goes very slow, the traffic goes below 10Mb/s and the proxy server becomes unusable. Any hints of what may be happening? I'm using: linux-2.6.30.10 iptables-1.4.3.2 squid-3.1.1 compiled with these options: ./configure --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --datadir=/usr/share --localstatedir=/var/lib --sysconfdir=/etc/squid --libexecdir=/usr/libexec/squid --localstatedir=/var --datadir=/usr/share/squid --enable-removal-policies=lru,heap --enable-icmp --disable-ident-lookups --enable-cache-digests --enable-delay-pools --enable-arp-acl --with-pthreads --with-large-files --enable-htcp --enable-carp --enable-follow-x-forwarded-for --enable-snmp --enable-ssl --enable-async-io=32 --enable-linux-netfilter --enable-epoll --disable-poll --with-maxfd=16384 --enable-err-languages=Spanish --enable-default-err-language=Spanish My squid.conf: cache_mem 100 MB memory_pools off acl manager proto cache_object acl localhost src 127.0.0.1/32 acl localhost src ::1/128 acl to_localhost dst 127.0.0.0/8 0.0.0.0/32 acl to_localhost dst ::1/128 acl localnet src 10.0.0.0/8 # RFC1918 possible internal network acl localnet src 172.16.0.0/12 # RFC1918 possible internal network acl localnet src 192.168.0.0/16 # RFC1918 possible internal network acl localnet src fc00::/7 # RFC 4193 local private network range acl localnet src fe80::/10 # RFC 4291 link-local (directly plugged) machines acl net-g1 src xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/24 acl SSL_ports port 443 acl Safe_ports port 80 # http acl Safe_ports port 21 # ftp acl Safe_ports port 443 # https acl Safe_ports port 70 # gopher acl Safe_ports port 210 # wais acl Safe_ports port 1025-65535 # unregistered ports acl Safe_ports port 280 # http-mgmt acl Safe_ports port 488 # gss-http acl Safe_ports port 591 # filemaker acl Safe_ports port 777 # multiling http acl CONNECT method CONNECT http_access allow manager localhost http_access deny manager http_access deny !Safe_ports http_access deny CONNECT !SSL_ports http_access allow net-g1 from where browsing should be allowed http_access allow localnet http_access allow localhost http_access deny all http_port 3128 http_port 3129 tproxy hierarchy_stoplist cgi-bin ? cache_dir ufs /var/spool/squid 8000 16 256 access_log none cache_log /var/log/squid/cache.log coredump_dir /var/spool/squid refresh_pattern ^ftp: 1440 20% 10080 refresh_pattern ^gopher: 1440 0% 1440 refresh_pattern -i (/cgi-bin/|\?) 0 0% 0 refresh_pattern .   • How to assemble a multi-project ant build system

    - by Alex Worden
At my new gig, they use Ant and cannot be persuaded to move to Maven. I've looked everywhere for a decent example of how a multi-project ant build system should be assembled. The apache site falls short. I'm looking specifically for best practices to: Automatically build local projects that are dependencies of a project Share artifacts from project to their dependents Export a project's dependencies and generated artifacts (jars) to be inherited by dependent projects Share third-party dependencies between projects I'm sure I can do all this without using Ivy - what did people do before Ivy? I really don't want to have to set up a corporate repository or rely on external repositories - the engineers here are really against that and have all their third-party jars checked into src control. Can anyone point me at a good open source example of a multi-project ant build?

  • Problems with type and ext attribute of artifact

    - by user315228
Hi, I have following definition in ivy.xml <dependency org="southbeach" name="ego" rev="4.3.1" conf="properties->asterik" > <artifact name="ego" type="conf" ext="conf" conf="properties->asterik"/> </dependency> I have files with either extension conf or properties which i need at runtime, in ivysettings.xml, i have following: <filesystem name="privateFSa"> <artifact pattern="${localRepositoryLocation}/[artifact].[ext]" /> </filesystem> It always tries to look for ego.jar instead of ego.conf. can please somebody shed light on this? am i doing something wrong or ivy just supports tar, zip,gz, jar and not properties or conf files? I did workaround for now in ivysettings.xml <filesystem name="privateFSa"> <artifact pattern="${localRepositoryLocation}/[artifact].conf" /> </filesystem> but this doesnt looks good to hardcode conf there. Thanks, Almas

  • Is everyone baking the same CI cake?

    - by Brett Rigby
I can't help but wonder about this whole Continous Integration process and wanted to know what you think about it all. From my perspective, we're constructing our own 'flavour' of NAnt/Ivy/CruiseControl.Net in-house and can't help but get the feeling that other dev shops are doing exactly the same work, but then everybody is finding out the same problems and pitfalls with it. I'm not complaining about NAnt, Ivy or CruiseControl at all, as they've been brilliant in helping our team of developers become more sure of the quality of their code, but it just seems strange that these tools are very popular, yet we're all re-inventing the CI-wheel. Is there a pre-made solution for building .Net applications, using the tools mentioned above, and if so, why aren't we all using them??

  • DD-WRT router causing IP address conflicts across network

    - by r.tanner.f
My DD-WRT router has lost its mind! I just set up two DD-WRT routers, one as a WAP (working fine) and one in Client Bridge (routed) mode (the problem). Not long after setup I started seeing IP address conflicts on other machines. The event log always points the finger at my Client Bridge router's MAC address. Neighbour table overflow The log on my router is flooded with Neighbour table overflow errors. These start a minute or two after boot. The network is rather large, with +200 IP addresses being used in this subnet. The other router shows no such errors. Mass ARP requests from 1.1.1.1 I'm also seeing constant ARP requests (with the problem router's MAC address) from 1.1.1.1. Seems like it's bugging everything on the network for its MAC address and then promptly forgetting it (or never receiving a response). Configuration: Model: Buffalo N600 Firmware: DD-WRT v24SP2-MULTI (03/21/11) Wireless Mode: Client Bridge (routed) I'm not sure what configuration details are relevant and I'd rather not have comments flooded, so just ping me in this chat if you want to know something. Why is my router stealing IP addresses and how can I stop it?

  • NATing IPv4 while routing IPv6

    - by Hugo
I've the following setup: client(s) <---> (eth0) router (eth1) <---> wan I have a static IPv4 address and a /48 IPv6 address block. I need to connect all the clients to (wan). Each client will have it's own public IPv6. Meanwhile, I need to NAT those same clients over to (wan). Everything IPv4-related and the NAT are working fine. The IPv6 communication to/from (eth0)<-(clients) works fine, as does the IPv6 communication from (eth1)<-(wan) works fine. To provide IPv6 to all my clients, I've thought of too choices: Having the router as a gateway, which different IP on each interface. This sounds like I need to tell my ISP to route the entire block through that single IP, so it's not really an option. Transparently pass IPv6 packets to/from eth0<-eth1, so all clients can communicate with the upstream gateway (I would actually have a switch here if it weren't for the need to remain IPv4 compatible). So, since I've opted for the second choice, I'm in doubt: How can I pass all IPv6 traffic from eth0 to eth1 transparently? What I need is a level 3 bridge, but linux's bridgeutils create a level 2 bridge (which would bridge ipv4 as well, and I can't have that). This is a DD-WRT device, but it's pretty much an embeded linux, so most suggestions that would work on linux are welcome. Thanks.

  • Bridging Wireless and Wired Interfaces in Linux

    - by The Daemons Advocate
My network setup is something like: Wireless Router <---> Netbook <---> Ubuntu Desktop ...or, more verbosely (with interfaces): Wireless Router <--(wireless)--> (eth2) Ubuntu Netbook Ubuntu Netbook (eth0) <---(wired)----> (eth0) Ubuntu Desktop In a perfect world, I'd have the desktop wired, but weird circumstances combined with my wanting to understand more about networking in linux make me want to figure out how to bridge these two devices. A bit of googling has given me this example using bridge-utils, and here's how I'm (failing) to setup the bridge (on the netbook): sudo -i ifconfig eth0 0.0.0.0 ifconfig eth2 0.0.0.0 brctl addbr bridget brctl addif bridget eth0 brctl addif bridget eth2 ifconfig bridget up ...then, trying to make sure that the netbook can still get on the internets... route add default gateway 192.168.2.1 dhclient bridget What happens after this is that the dhclient command above (netbook) doesn't get served an IP, and the Desktop, if I run dhclient, it doesn't get served an IP. Some weird considerations might be that I'm running the Network Manager Applet that comes with Ubuntu. While I'm sure I can get a command line wireless configuration setup, it's a bit complex. Can someone give me a shout as to where I'm going wrong? I'd also like to note another related question titled 'Bridging my laptop’s wireless and wired adaptors', however the setup is different to mine.

  • xen debian: domU can't get out side

    - by iftol
    hi every body. i'm a trainee as a sysAdmin, it is my first expérience with virtualization. i have a server setup debian xen 3 with 2 physical interfaces. eth 0 for local network 10.0.0.1 and eth1 for internet (194.X.X.4). i created 3 VMs (web server, mail server and dabase server) with local ip addresses 172.10.0.x/24. the problem i had first is that domU can't ping dom0. i asked the sysAdmin of our ISP and he sais that he fogot to setup the bridginb. so he ceated a bridge with 172.10.0.1/24 after that i was able to ping the real server (194.X.X.4). but i can't go out side from my VMs, how can i fixe this issue? real or physical server ifconfig eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 23:26:34:84:ce:xe inet adr:10.1.3.12 Bcast:10.1.3.255 Masque:255.255.255.0 adr inet6: fe80::226:b9ff:fe84:ceb4/64 Scope:Lien UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:412006 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:411296 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 lg file transmission:1000 RX bytes:31410957 (29.9 MiB) TX bytes:31178370 (29.7 MiB) Interruption:36 Mémoire:d6000000-d6012100 eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 23:26:34:84:ce:xe inet adr:194.x.x.4 Bcast:194.254.167.255 Masque:255.255.255.0 adr inet6: fe80::226:b9ff:fe84:ceb6/64 Scope:Lien UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:25872332 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:414578 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 lg file transmission:0 RX bytes:2642278343 (2.4 GiB) TX bytes:35436775 (33.7 MiB) lo Link encap:Boucle locale inet adr:127.0.0.1 Masque:255.0.0.0 adr inet6: ::1/128 Scope:Hôte UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 RX packets:1308073 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:1308073 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 lg file transmission:0 RX bytes:109871395 (104.7 MiB) TX bytes:109871395 (104.7 MiB) peth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 23:26:34:84:ce:xe UP BROADCAST RUNNING PROMISC MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:31818694 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:414818 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 lg file transmission:1000 RX bytes:5197318822 (4.8 GiB) TX bytes:37904897 (36.1 MiB) Interruption:48 Mémoire:d8000000-d8012100 vif281.0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr fe:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff adr inet6: fe80::fcff:ffff:feff:ffff/64 Scope:Lien UP BROADCAST RUNNING PROMISC MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:207 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:298 errors:0 dropped:2 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 lg file transmission:32 RX bytes:24629 (24.0 KiB) TX bytes:28404 (27.7 KiB) vif281.1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr fe:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff adr inet6: fe80::fcff:ffff:feff:ffff/64 Scope:Lien UP BROADCAST RUNNING PROMISC MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:45 errors:0 dropped:47063 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 lg file transmission:32 RX bytes:0 (0.0 B) TX bytes:4449 (4.3 KiB) vif282.0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr fe:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff adr inet6: fe80::fcff:ffff:feff:ffff/64 Scope:Lien UP BROADCAST RUNNING PROMISC MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:78 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:13 errors:0 dropped:1 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 lg file transmission:32 RX bytes:5041 (4.9 KiB) TX bytes:714 (714.0 B) xenbr0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr fe:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff inet adr:172.10.0.1 Bcast:172.10.0.255 Masque:255.255.255.0 adr inet6: fe80::5c72:c6ff:fe49:7fe/64 Scope:Lien UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:7180 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:8615 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 lg file transmission:0 RX bytes:756804 (739.0 KiB) TX bytes:791206 (772.6 KiB) brtcl show bridge name bridge id STP enabled interfaces eth1 8000.0026b984ceb6 no peth1 vif281.1 xenbr0 8000.feffffffffff no vif281.0 vif282.0 network-multi-bridge /etc/xen/scripts/network-virtual start vifnum="0" bridgeip="172.10.0.1/24" brnet="172.10.0.0/24" VM webserver eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:16:3E:42:33:70 inet addr:172.10.0.2 Bcast:172.10.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 inet6 addr: fe80::216:3eff:fe42:3370/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:3 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:27 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:126 (126.0 b) TX bytes:2036 (1.9 KiB) lo Link encap:Local Loopback inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0 inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b) Thank you for your help.
