In Excel 2007, if I go to
Office button - Prepare - Properties
instead of showing document properties, I get a message "The Document Information Panel was unable to load." I have come across a number of posts suggesting I copy ipedintl.dll from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Web Designer Tools\Office12\1033 to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\1033, however I have tried this, and the problem is still occurring. Does anyone have any other ideas of what this might be? Thanks.
I have a number of secure emails sent to my Outlook 2007 client. Most arrive fine and display the prompt with regards to granting access to the certificate and then open. Today I received two that crash Outlook whenever I try to open them. I've tried restarting Outlook and my computer but still have the same problem.
Any ideas what might be causing this, and how I can fix it?
I'm working on Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit.
Hello,
I want to know how to redirect permanently the "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender" in outlook 2007.
I have already tested to make different rules and spam redirect but, the undelivered mails continues to come in my inbox.
Do outlook have a special configuration, does someone knows why i cant redirect my undelivered mails ?
Please test it YOURSELF and you will know it is not simple as making a rule with the message or the sender name...
Is there a way to display page breaks (the horizontal dotted line) in Word 2007 within the Web Layout and Draft views? I am aware of the "Show all formatting marks" options, which isn't what I want as I don't want to see all the other formatting marks.
I am not sure what the issue may be, but I am getting a weird error in Word 2007 (running on Win7 pro x86). When I click the page setup button (or try and chnage one of the page formatiing button like orientation) the program stops responding and crashes on me. This is really getting annoying. Can anyone help?
Thanks!
Hi Guys,
I have an email that requires the use text inside of HTML PRE tags in the message source. When viewing this message, I've noticed that Outlook 2003 will NOT word wrap this text but Outlook 2007 will.
What is the correct and expected behavior? Is there a way to force Outlook 2003 to wordwrap the text even though it's inside a PRE tag?
Thanks,
M
We're running an Exchange 2003 Server with Outlook 2007 clients. One of the users does not have the Out of Office assistant on their Tools menu. If I access his account via webmail, I can set his out of office message and status there, but would still love to know why it might be missing and how to get it back on the tools menu
I have outlook 2007 installed (12.0.6514.5000) on my work computer.
I just installed Bowie to allow integration with outlook and TFS.
Most of the features for that plugin are based on the Ribbon. But I don't have the ribbon. I have the old menu and toolbar structure.
How do I switch to the ribbon view?
I'm using a startup script to deploy Microsoft Office 2007 Standard. It's not working quite right and I'm trying to find logging information for it. Unfortunately, no log is being generated by setup. I've tried configuring the log at %temp%\, C:\, %systemroot%\temp and leaving it at defaults, all to no avail. Nothing is showing up in the event logs, either. Is there anywhere else I can go to look for information on what's going on with the installer?
In Excel 2007, when I click a hyperlink, it opens in IE.
I'm running XP Professional SP3.
Firefox is set as my default browser. Links in Word and Outlook open in Firefox. But Excel opens them in IE. Anyone know how to fix it?
Edit:
Process Explorer shows the command line for IE to be
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" -Embedding
Thanks!
Hi there,
I am using outlook 2007, and I have configured the bugger to retrieve emails from
a 1&1 web mail address.
It gets all emails from the remote in-box folder but,
if one happen to have fallen into the remote spam folder,
I never receive it, in outlook!
Is there an easy way out for this one ?
Thanks!
An old junk mail filter program I used to use created a junk email folder. When I moved from Outlook 2003 to 2007, Outlook created a new folder called Junk Email1. Now, after our move to a new Exchange server, I now have a "Junk Email" folder and the existing "Junk Email1" folder. Is there a way to change the default Outlook Junk Email folder back to "Junk Email"?
I'm getting a Subtotal method of Range class failed Error when I try to run a macro in Excel 2007. Code works GREAT (no errors) when I run it using Excel 2003.
Here's a snippet...
'SubTotal Sheet
Range("A1").Select
Selection.Subtotal GroupBy:=1, Function:=xlSum, TotalList:=Array(3, 4, 5, 6, 7, _
8, 9), Replace:=True, PageBreaks:=False, SummaryBelowData:=True
Any help would be appreciated.

We only have First Storage Group and Second Storage Group
There is no more space on the server to install new Physical Disks and create a Storage Group
Q - Can I resize the RAID-1 Partition where the DB is ?
Q - Any other suggestions as to how I can decrease the Mailbox DB Size ?
Will be grateful for your suggestions on this.

In word 2007 I click office button top left I click open, I get the open box, in the top address bar, I if I click on the down arrow far right (previous Locations) the drop down menu is empty just a box with nothing in it. To go anywhere from here I have to navigate via the left had pane, on all other windows systems this dropdown has enabled me to go to any location on my computer. I'm wondering if because all my word documents are on my D drive that windows 7 doesn't like it.
I have to install third party software that requires that Microsoft Office 2007 be installed with ".NET Programmability Support".
Does anyone know how I can tell if this was installed?
Thanks!
I love using the formatting styles for tables in Excel 2007, but in my data I'm using the same column name for multiple columns. When I format my table using the pre-defined styles, it automatically adds an incremental number to each subsequent column name which I don't want. Is there any way to stop this from happening? If I attempt to manually rename the column back to the original name, it automatically appends the incremented number.
There is a permanent yellow bar under the toolbar in Outlook 2007 saying "Click here to enable instant search".
When I click on it, the following message appears:
I click No, and the annoying yellow bar is still there. How can I get rid of it? I don't want to install Instant Search feature?
I am installing Exchange Server 2007 SP1 Management Tools on Windows XP SP3 and every time I get the error:
The event log file is full
I have tried clearing out the log files and everything, but this continues to happen - any ideas?
I'm using Office 2007 on Windows Vista and occasionally, when copying from Word to Excel, or text from a website to Word, I will get the hour glass for 10 + seconds and sometimes for about a minute. It should just be simple text and I don't understand why it takes so long.
My organisation has Exchange 2007 e-mail server, and now, we want to host e-mail service for other organisation (neworg.com)
I added new Authoritative Active Domain neworg.com, but when adding a new mailbox, there is no option to chose new SMTP domain name neworg.com, and I can't add new user with SMTP domain [email protected].
Probably I misunderstood something while reading posts on Internet, but can someone help please?
I just upgraded a Vista machine to Windows 7. The machine is running Outlook 2007 SP2 with the KB970944 performance hot fix.
Now, syncing to the Exchange server can take 20 minutes, whereas it was very fast before the Windows 7 upgrade. I believe we're running Exchange 2003, but I'm not 100% sure.
Anyone else seeing this? Any fixes yet?
