  • How to find the class object of Java generic type?

    Assume I have a generic type P which is an Enum, that is <P extends Enum<P>>, and I want to get the Enum value from a string, for example: String foo = "foo"; P fooEnum = Enum.valueOf(P.class, foo); This will get a compile error because P.class is invalid. So what can I do in order to make the above code work?

  • How to make DataGrid Row really fully selectable (clicking on non-cell area)

    The question might be a little misleading. Here is a screenshot of a DataGrid that has some dummy values (code provided below) Is there a way to make the white area not covered by a cell clickable? My intention: I want to have full row selection.   • Can anyone tell why Wordpress is adding this p tag?

    Here's the page: http://www.gammagoochee.com/media/ WP is adding a p tag on line 55 between the end of my header and the beginning of my post content. I am using Raw HTML Pro, and the post starts with content surrounded by [raw] tags. There is no content between the last tag in my header, and the beginning of my post. This doesn't happen on my other site pages, and the only difference is that this page is using a template, but the template is the same in this part of the page. All the template does differently than the other site pages is add a sidebar. Anyone have any ideas whatsoever why WP is adding this p tag, and/or how I can prevent it? Thanks so much!

  • C compiler producing lightweight executeables

    I'm currently using MSVC for C++ but as I'm switching to C to write a very performance-intensive program (interpreter) I have to search for a fitting C compiler. I've looked at some binaries produced by Turbo-C and even if its old they seem pretty straigthforward and optimized. Now I don't know what the best compiler for building an interpreter is, but maybe you can help me. I've considered GCC but as I don't know much about it, I can't be really sure.

    On a Ubuntu 9 64bit Linux machine, sudo takes longer time to start. "sudo echo hi" takes 2-3 minutes. strace on sudo tells poll("/etc/pam.d/system-auth", POLLIN) timesout after 5 seconds and there are multiple calls(may be a loop) to same system call (which causes 2-3min delay). Any idea why sudo has to wait for /etc/pam.d/system-auth? Any tunable to make sudo to timeout faster? Thanks Samuel

It would be a light server (with a graphical environment) useful for print server, file server etc. I've tried to install crunchbang linux but it tell me that my processor not support cx8 and cmov instructions. So i'm trying Knoppix.. but i still have some problem ... Do you know other good lightweight distro debian derivates that support via c3 processor ? Thanks

The top 28 sessions as voted were all included (24 sessions plus 4 reserves), and duplicates (when a single presenter had two sessions in the top 28) were swapped out for others. For example, both sessions submitted by Cindy Gross were in the top 28. These swaps were chosen by the committee to get a good balance of topics. Amazingly, some big names missed out, and even the top ten included some surprises. T-SQL, Indexes and Reporting featured well in the top ten, and in the end, the mix between BI, Dev and DBA ended up quite nicely too.     I just started programming with Racket and now I have the following problem. I have a struct with a list and I have to add up all prices in the list. (define-struct item (name category price)) (define some-items (list (make-item "Book1" 'Book 40.97) (make-item "Book2" 'Book 5.99) (make-item "Book3" 'Book 20.60) (make-item "Item" 'KitchenAccessory 2669.90))) I know that I can return the price with: (item-price (first some-items)) or (item-price (car some-items)). The problem is, that I dont know how I can add up all Items prices with this. Answer to Óscar López: May i filled the blanks not correctly, but Racket mark the code black when I press start and don't return anything.     I am using ipsec-tools/racoon to create my VPN. I am using racoon-tool to configure racoon.conf but when I run racoon-tool reload it only generates the first section - Global items.
