  • Xmail shows error at Gmail

    Hello I am using Xmail server at IP 65.75.241.26 hosted at www.softmail.me using which I can send and receive email to/from all email service providers but unable to receive back from Gmail. This error lies only with Gmail. Experts says that Gmail requires proper working MX records where as for other emailing providers do not bother much. Is MX records the solution for my problem? Or is there any other issue? My mailserver outgoing at softmail.me:25 My mailserver incoming at softmail.me:110 Please help me how to get rid of this issue.

  • Windows 8 install shows NTFS partition but asks for driver

    I have an Asus Eee PC 900HA, and I tried to install Windows 8 on it, so I created a 56GB NTFS partition and booted install from USB When I get to install it, says "some drivers are missing", but when I click Explore button, I can see the NTFS partition. I have updated the BIOS to its lastest version in Asus Support, loaded setup defaults, downloaded all the drivers I saw there and put them into the USB, but keeps asking for drivers. The BIOS has no option for the HDD to be IDE or AHCI, only Auto, ARMD and CDROM are available. Thank you very much.

    I've installed Java 7 on my Mac (10.7.5), but in the terminal there is still java 6. java version "1.6.0_37" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_37-b06-434-11M3909) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.12-b01-434, mixed mode) There will be no problem with the version 6 on terminal, if I always got that errors when I tried to install a java application (LatexDraw): : CGContextGetCTM: invalid context 0x0 : CGContextSetBaseCTM: invalid context 0x0 : CGContextGetCTM: invalid context 0x0 : CGContextSetBaseCTM: invalid context 0x0 The problem is related to instability of java 6 inferred from this link I've read this installed-java-7-on-mac-osx-but-terminal-is-still-using-version-6 and also try to change my Java version by using export JAVA_HOME="/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Home", but in my folder /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions, there is no version 1.7, only versions under 1.6 ??? So, how can I fix this issue?

  • Changed array composition, mdadm --detail still shows the old array size

    I have a machine with 8 disks. I installed it with my hoster's install automation (it's OVH, I don't have physical access to it). The machine installed correctly, but it made an array that I wanted to change. It created a raid5 array across 5/8 disks and I've changed it to raid10 across 8 disks. I've done this by first --stopping the old array and then --creating the new array. It warned me that a previous array was there, but I chose to continue. So it created the array, spent 10ish hours syncing it and now that it's ready I get this strange behavior: When I fdisk p on it, I see the correct size. But when I mdadm --detail it I see the old array's size even tho I get the new composition and level. When I try to pvcreate on it, i get the old size again for some reason. Did I have to do something else? Did I miss something?

  • Windows sometimes minimizes game and shows the desktop?

    For some reason, every once in a while when I'm playing a full-screen game in Windows 7, the game will minimize and focus will be given to the Desktop. I don't know what does this because no other problem appears to activate (nothing new in the taskbar or system tray appears). This occurs in a variety of games, from a variety of publishers, so it's definitely not the game that's having the problem. When this occurs, I can simply click on the game to go back to it, but it's obviously still quite annoying. Anyone know what's going on here? Is this a common occurrence with a simple fix?   • Two domains hosted on the same server with different root folder shows up the same homepage

    I have hosted two domains from GoDaddy at Linode VPS. They are mobiletoast.com and lesseltechnologies.com Thought the latter site has a separate index folder, whenever I navigate to it, I get the homepage of mobiletoast.com The strange thing is, I see the expected page (It works), when I open the site from my mobile phone. But when I open the site from my PC (any browser, without any cache, hard refresh), I get the homepage of mobiletoast.com The Linode support team says, they see the correct "It works" page. But I am not able to see that page.   • Can't access Terminal anymore, only shows a cursor

    I run OS X. Following these directions (Installing MySQL on Mac OS X) I added a file to /usr and the contents were PATH=/usr/local/mysql/bin:$PATH Actually I was trying to get the mysql command to work now I cannot access terminal. All I get is a cursor but no command line. I also cannot find the file I created in the Finder. I used command shift G to find the folder /usr and the file is not there. Edit: I Solved the problem by restarting my computer. I am really not sure what the problem was. I got the idea because Could not open a new pseudo-tty. appeared in my terminal after following slhck directions to remove my .profile file.     Courtesy of goal.com Check the pointer that I drew. It doesn't point the right arrow (-), however, it looks like hover on that arrow (arrow turns into green color). Moreover, when I press at that area, it will be directed to link that is specified by that button. Another bug is on the scroll bar. The display show the scroll bar is shifted left, so there is a gap. However, the area that can be clicked remain at the right end of the page.

  • Microsoft Server 2003 Explorer shows duplicate local shares

    Hi folks, I am new here and I could really use some advice please. I am having a problem with our file server. When I try to browse the shared folders using explorer, several of the shared folders all appear to have the same name. Whenever I attempt to rename one of the affected folders, all the affected folders name also change. Our File Server is Windows Server 2003 R2. I am logged on directly to the server using remote desktop. When I open the folder all is as it should be, the proper content is there and the address bar displays the correct folder name and path. The share names are correct, so everything that needs to access the shared folder/files can do so. Also when I browse to the folder using the command-line all it as it should be there too. The only issue seems to be the incorrect display name when browsing using explorer. Can anyone offer any advice or help as to how to resolve this issue please? It would be most appreciated. Thanks

  • (Some) security perms in WinXP corrupted (shows GUID instead of username)

    I've been using my Win XP machine (part of a domain) over the holiday period, so until yesterday it hadn't rebooted for about five days. I used it yesterday perfectly fine and shut it down. When I switched it on this morning the majority (but not all) of my shortcut links in the Quick Launch toolbar showed as generic file icons. If you open the folder and get properties on one of the failing shortcuts it says ''Target type: This is not a valid shortcut''. Then in Outlook I noticed my signature wasn't showing (I checked my sent folder and the sig was ok yesterday). Checking the signature folder, I can't see the security tab on any of the sig files, and I have an access denied message on trying to open them. I can see the security tab on the signature folder itself, just none of the contents. If I try and use the parent folder's security tab and ''Replace permission entries on all child objects with entries shown here that apply to child objects'' it appears to work fine, but makes no actual difference. I logged in as administrator and saw that the owner of the files showed up as a GUID (clearly should've been my account in its place). Any ideas what might have made that happen? So far I haven't heard any similar complaints from anyone else at the office...

  • Folder with files shows as empty

    Last night I create a new project in Visual Studio 2010, in the folder c:\development\hobby\devices. When I navigate to that folder in a new instance of Windows Explorer, I get the 'This folder is empty.' message in the files pane. If I then, from within Visual Studio, issue the "Open containing folder command", explorer opens to the folder c:\development\hobby\devices\LoopBack, where loopback is a project under the main folder. If I paste that path into another new instance of explorer, explorer correctly opens c:\development\hobby\devices. How is this possible? SOLVED: This is what comes of typing paths instead of selecting them. Some elementary detective work yielded the following interesting results: C:\>dir dev*. Volume in drive C is OS Volume Serial Number is E4B4-0563 Directory of C:\ 2010/11/28 09:20 PM <DIR> Development 2010/12/01 08:57 PM <DIR> Develpment 2010/11/02 06:31 PM <DIR> DevTools 0 File(s) 0 bytes 3 Dir(s) 63 965 368 320 bytes free Where my disappearing project was in the badly spelt one.

  • Virtual machine shows no network adapter

    I had a an old Lotus/Domino server (R5), I just virtualized. It ran Windows 2000 server. I had to use Vmware Converter v3.x to create the vm because it was the only one I could find that could actually do a Win2k machine that had no service packs. It was just put out to pasture a couple months ago, so it isn't being used except to store the old email for archiving. It took a bit of work to get it onto the Win2008R2 servers hyper-v but I got it there. Problem now, is that the network adapter didn't show up. I could not install the guest additions because it needed sp4 + on win2k... so I installed sp4 onto the vm guest. Everything seems fine except the network adapter still isn;t showing up in device manager. NOthing. Now this server had an external ip, and I did not want it to be put onto the internal virtual network. I am going to use a dedicated adapter on the host (hyper-v server) if that matters... but this shouldn't matter if the the guests network adapter doesn't show at all. Thoughts?

  • Perforce command line only showing local users/changelists/workspaces, but P4V shows all

    We are using P4 for free with two users. In the P4V admin gui I can see both myself and my partner as users, and in the P4V gui I can see all workspaces (clients) and all changelists (both mine and my partner's). From the command line, 'p4 users' only shows me, 'p4 clients' only shows my local workspace, etc. Is there some mode, environment setting, or special directory from which I have to use the p4 command line to see those global objects? I believe I am a p4 superuser (since I read this is the default on installation and we didn't change anything). I'm obviously missing something very basic about the relationship between p4 command line and P4V. The reason I need to use the command line is to delete an old client workspace (used on a different machine) that has an empty changelist associated with it. I therefore need to use 'p4 client -d -f old-workspace-name' from the command line. But when I do it tells me client 'old-workspace-name' doesn't exist.

  • PartCover shows 0% coverage for getter and 100% coverage for setter despite the code being commented

    Hi all, I have a public property in my code as below: [DependencyInjection] public IEVentController EventController { get; set; } I also have a line of code referencing the EventController property: EventController.ExecuteObjectEvents( someObject, null ); Now currently (due to some missing implementation in another part of the application) I commented both these code sections out. Nevertheless, when I run PartCover it shows me a coverage of 0% for get_EventController and 100% for set_EventController. The strange thing is, that the Coverage Details view also correctly shows me that the code is commented out and therefore should not be treated as code - why does PartCover recognise it anyway? I would have expected to not get the getter and setter listed in the PartCover result. There is definitely no other reference to that code in the class to be tested, any ideas?   • Performance monitor shows 4294967293 sessions active

    I have an ASP.Net 3.5 website running in IIS 6 on Windows Server 2003 R2. It is a relatively small internal application that probably serves less than ten users at any given time. The server has 4 Gig of memory and shows that 3+ Gig is available while the site is active. Just minutes after restarting the web application Performance monitor shows that there is a whopping 4,294,967,293 sessions active! I am fairly certain that this number is incorrect; at the time this reading there were only 100 requests to the website. Has anyone else experienced this kind odd behavior from perf mon? Any ideas on how to get an accurate reading? UPDATE: After running for about an hour the number of active sessions has dropped by 4. So it does seem to be responding to sessions timing out.

    When accessing http://www.nowplayingnashville.com/event2/detail/440698386/Whatever the controller shows normally. But when omitting the last parameter (event's title, which can be any string), http://www.nowplayingnashville.com/event2/detail/440698386/ It shows blank. I added a default value and tried to hardcode the title on the first line of the controller, but it doesn't work anyway. It looks like a view issue, because I can add an echo at the end of the controller and it gets printed, so the controller is executing to the end, but the views aren't displayed. This problem is present on the live site, but I checked out the code on my local machine and it works perfectly without a title. That's strange. Could it be a Kohana or Apache configuration issue?

    i have this code running to load my images all asynch and show a ajax loading image until the real image is downloaded. $('img.loadable-image').css('background', 'transparent url(/images/ajax-loader1.gif) no-repeat center center') $('img.loadable-image').load(function() { $(this).css('background', ''); }); this works in that it shows my ajax loading icon until the images is downloaded but it also shows the background as well here is a screenshot of what i get: as you can see on the left, you see the little ajax loader but also see the missing image square around it. any suggestions?

When I see, Home page, on my local machine, in the content area of my page it shows me IMAGE on the right as I want to see. But, When I see that page on my remote machine It shows my IMAGE on the left, instead of right side.   • UIImagePickerController shows last picture taken instead of camera input

    I'm having a strange behaviour within my app. For taking pictures i'm using the following pretty standard code for displaying the UIImagePickerController: UIImagePickerController *picker = [[UIImagePickerController alloc] init]; picker.delegate = self; picker.allowsEditing = NO; picker.sourceType = UIImagePickerControllerSourceTypeCamera; [self presentViewController:picker animated:YES completion:nil]; It works perfectly fine the first time I tap the button which calls this action. The strange behaviour starts when I tap that button again. The UIImagePickerController starts again BUT it doesnt show the input from the camera anymore. It shows the last picture I've taken. More Details of this state: Tapping on the image shows the yellow square of the auto focus. (which it actually uses to focus the camera correctly) When I tap on the ImageCapture button - the correct image is taken and presented on the screen. If I take a picture and press 'Retake' the regular camera image is presented as input. More weirdness: It has nothing to do with the iPad I'm using. Creating a new example app which only has button which calls the code from above everything works perfectly fine. I assume it has something to do with the configuration of the app. Therefore I checked everything but could not find any differences which may cause this issue. Thanks in advance for any advice! Update: I do implement the UIImagePickerControllerDelegate in order to dismiss the UIImagePickerController.
