  • In Django-pagination Paginate does not working...

    - by mosg
    Hello. Python 2.6.2 django-pagination 1.0.5 Question: How to force pagination work correctly? The problem is that {% paginate %} does not work, but other {% load pagination_tags %} and {% autopaginate object_list 10 %} works! Error message appeared, when I add {% paginate %} into html page: TemplateSyntaxError at /logging Caught an exception while rendering: pagination/pagination.html What I have done: Install django-pagination without any problems. When I do in python import pagination, it's work well. Added pagination to INSTALLED_APP in settings.py: INSTALLED_APPS = ( # ..., 'pagination', ) Added in settings.py: TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS = ( "django.core.context_processors.auth", "django.core.context_processors.debug", "django.core.context_processors.i18n", "django.core.context_processors.media", "django.core.context_processors.request" ) Also add to settings.py middleware: MIDDLEWARE_CLASSES = ( # ... 'pagination.middleware.PaginationMiddleware', ) Add to top in views.py: from django.template import RequestContext And finally add to my HTML template page lines: {% load pagination_tags %} ... {% autopaginate item_list 50 %} {% for item in item_list %} ... {% endfor %} {% paginate %} Thanks. PS: some edits required, because I can't django code style work well here :)

  • SQL Server 2005 Express: upgrading to SP3 in mixed-mode installations

    - by Jeroen Pluimers
I'm having trouble upgrading SQL Server 2005 Express SP1 to SP3. The SP1 install uses mixed mode authentication (so there is an sa password). This is the message I get: TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Setup ------------------------------ None of the selected features can be installed or upgraded. Setup cannot proceed since no effective change is being made to the machine. To continue, click Back and then select features to install. To exit SQL Server Setup, click Cancel. For help, click: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink?LinkID=20476&ProdName=Microsoft+SQL+Server&ProdVer=9.00.4035.00&EvtSrc=setup.rll&EvtID=SQLSetup90&EvtType=28108 ------------------------------ BUTTONS: OK ------------------------------ The link then tells me To continue you must provide a strong sa password. I tried some searching, and found something about BPAClient.dll, but this batch-file does not fix it: mkdir "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\BPA\BPAClient" copy "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\BPA\bin\BPAClient.dll" "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\BPA\BPAClient\" So I think the clue is the strong in the link above. Am I on the right track? Where do I find more information on the strongness of an sa password? --jeroen (who will adjust the question when he has dug further)

  • Macports sudo expands ~ to /var/root in python

    - by calavera
This might be a bit dev-heavy for the site... but here goes. I installed the macports version of sudo. All is well, except for one thing. Using python 2.6 to expand ~ to the user's home directory results in a different output than the version of sudo that comes with Snow Leopard. For example consider the following python code: #expand_home_dir.py import os os.path.expanduser('~') Below are 3 different calls of the code listed above. The first call using sudo is using the Macports version because my $PATH begins with /opt/local/bin: robert$ python2.6 expand_home_dir.py /Users/robert robert$ sudo python2.6 expand_home_dir.py /var/root robert$ /usr/bin/sudo python2.6 expand_home_dir.py /Users/robert Any idea why this is happening?

  • Simple Observation in Django: How Can I Correctly Modify The `attrs` sent to __new__ of a Django Mod

    - by DGGenuine
Hello, I'm a strong proponent of the observer pattern, and this is what I'd like to be able to do in my Django models.py: class AModel(Model): __metaclass__ = SomethingMagical @post_save(AnotherModel) @classmethod def observe_another_model_saved(klass, sender, instance, created, **kwargs): pass @pre_init('YetAnotherModel') @classmethod def observe_yet_another_model_initializing(klass, sender, *args, **kwargs): pass @post_delete('DifferentApp.SomeModel') @classmethod def observe_some_model_deleted(klass, sender, **kwargs): pass This would connect a signal with sender = the decorator's argument and receiver = the decorated method. Right now my signal connection code all exists in __init__.py which is okay, but a little unmaintainable. I want this code all in one place, the models.py file. Thanks to helpful feedback from the community I'm very close (I think.) (I'm using a metaclass solution instead of the class decorator solution in the previous question/answer because you can't set attributes on classmethods, which I need.) I am having a strange error I don't understand. At the end of my post are the contents of a models.py that you can pop into a fresh project/application to see the error. Set your database to sqlite and add the application to installed apps. This is the error: Validating models... Unhandled exception in thread started by Traceback (most recent call last): File "/Library/Python/2.6/site-packages//lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/core/management/commands/runserver.py", line 48, in inner_run File "/Library/Python/2.6/site-packages/django/core/management/base.py", line 253, in validate raise CommandError("One or more models did not validate:\n%s" % error_text) django.core.management.base.CommandError: One or more models did not validate: local.myothermodel: 'my_model' has a relation with model MyModel, which has either not been installed or is abstract. I've indicated a few different things you can comment in/out to fix the error. First, if you don't modify the attrs sent to the metaclass's __new__, then the error does not arise. (Note even if you copy the dictionary element by element into a new dictionary, it still fails; only using the exact attrs dictionary works.) Second, if you reference the first model by class rather than by string, the error also doesn't arise regardless of what you do in __new__. I appreciate your help. I'll be githubbing the solution if and when it works. Maybe other people would enjoy a simplified way to use Django signals to observe application happenings. #models.py from django.db import models from django.db.models.base import ModelBase from django.db.models import signals import pdb class UnconnectedMethodWrapper(object): sender = None method = None signal = None def __init__(self, signal, sender, method): self.signal = signal self.sender = sender self.method = method def post_save(sender): return _make_decorator(signals.post_save, sender) def _make_decorator(signal, sender): def decorator(view): return UnconnectedMethodWrapper(signal, sender, view) return decorator class ConnectableModel(ModelBase): """ A meta class for any class that will have static or class methods that need to be connected to signals. • Python bindings for a vala library

    - by celil
I am trying to create python bindings to a vala library using the following IBM tutorial as a reference. My initial directory has the following two files: test.vala using GLib; namespace Test { public class Test : Object { public int sum(int x, int y) { return x + y; } } } test.override %% headers #include <Python.h> #include "pygobject.h" #include "test.h" %% modulename test %% import gobject.GObject as PyGObject_Type %% ignore-glob *_get_type %% and try to build the python module source test_wrap.c using the following code build.sh #/usr/bin/env bash valac test.vala -CH test.h python /usr/share/pygobject/2.0/codegen/h2def.py test.h > test.defs pygobject-codegen-2.0 -o test.override -p test test.defs > test_wrap.c However, the last command fails with an error $ ./build.sh Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/pygobject/2.0/codegen/codegen.py", line 1720, in <module> sys.exit(main(sys.argv)) File "/usr/share/pygobject/2.0/codegen/codegen.py", line 1672, in main o = override.Overrides(arg) File "/usr/share/pygobject/2.0/codegen/override.py", line 52, in __init__ self.handle_file(filename) File "/usr/share/pygobject/2.0/codegen/override.py", line 84, in handle_file self.__parse_override(buf, startline, filename) File "/usr/share/pygobject/2.0/codegen/override.py", line 96, in __parse_override command = words[0] IndexError: list index out of range Is this a bug in pygobject, or is something wrong with my setup? What is the best way to call code written in vala from python? EDIT: Removing the extra line fixed the current problem, but now as I proceed to build the python module, I am facing another problem. Adding the following C file to the existing two in the directory: test_module.c #include <Python.h> void test_register_classes (PyObject *d); extern PyMethodDef test_functions[]; DL_EXPORT(void) inittest(void) { PyObject *m, *d; init_pygobject(); m = Py_InitModule("test", test_functions); d = PyModule_GetDict(m); test_register_classes(d); if (PyErr_Occurred ()) { Py_FatalError ("can't initialise module test"); } } and building with the following script build.sh #/usr/bin/env bash valac test.vala -CH test.h python /usr/share/pygobject/2.0/codegen/h2def.py test.h > test.defs pygobject-codegen-2.0 -o test.override -p test test.defs > test_wrap.c CFLAGS="`pkg-config --cflags pygobject-2.0` -I/usr/include/python2.6/ -I." LDFLAGS="`pkg-config --libs pygobject-2.0`" gcc $CFLAGS -fPIC -c test.c gcc $CFLAGS -fPIC -c test_wrap.c gcc $CFLAGS -fPIC -c test_module.c gcc $LDFLAGS -shared test.o test_wrap.o test_module.o -o test.so python -c 'import test; exit()' results in an error: $ ./build.sh ***INFO*** The coverage of global functions is 100.00% (1/1) ***INFO*** The coverage of methods is 100.00% (1/1) ***INFO*** There are no declared virtual proxies. ***INFO*** There are no declared virtual accessors. ***INFO*** There are no declared interface proxies. • Parsing unicode XML with Python SAX on App Engine

    - by Derek Dahmer
I'm using xml.sax with unicode strings of XML as input, originally entered in from a web form. On my local machine (python 2.5, using the default xmlreader expat, running through app engine), it works fine. However, the exact same code and input strings on production app engine servers fail with "not well-formed". For example, it happens with the code below: from xml import sax class MyHandler(sax.ContentHandler): pass handler = MyHandler() # Both of these unicode strings return 'not well-formed' # on app engine, but work locally xml.parseString(u"<a>b</a>",handler) xml.parseString(u"<!DOCTYPE a[<!ELEMENT a (#PCDATA)> ]><a>b</a>",handler) # Both of these work, but output unicode xml.parseString("<a>b</a>",handler) xml.parseString("<!DOCTYPE a[<!ELEMENT a (#PCDATA)> ]><a>b</a>",handler) resulting in the error: File "<string>", line 1, in <module> File "/base/python_dist/lib/python2.5/xml/sax/__init__.py", line 49, in parseString parser.parse(inpsrc) File "/base/python_dist/lib/python2.5/xml/sax/expatreader.py", line 107, in parse xmlreader.IncrementalParser.parse(self, source) File "/base/python_dist/lib/python2.5/xml/sax/xmlreader.py", line 123, in parse self.feed(buffer) File "/base/python_dist/lib/python2.5/xml/sax/expatreader.py", line 211, in feed self._err_handler.fatalError(exc) File "/base/python_dist/lib/python2.5/xml/sax/handler.py", line 38, in fatalError raise exception SAXParseException: <unknown>:1:1: not well-formed (invalid token) Any reason why app engine's parser, which also uses python2.5 and expat, would fail when inputting unicode?

  • Python, SWIG and other strange things

    - by wanderameise
hey, I have a firmware for an USB module I can already control by visual C. Now I want to port this to python. for this I need the octopus library which is written in c. I found a file called octopus_wrap which was created by SWIG! then I found a makefile which says: python2.5: swig -python -outdir ./ ../octopus.i gcc -fPIC -c ../../liboctopus/src/octopus.c gcc -fPIC -c ../octopus_wrap.c -I /usr/include/python2.5 gcc -fPIC -shared octopus_wrap.o octopus.o /usr/lib/libusb.so -o _octopus.so python2.4: swig -python -outdir ./ ../octopus.i gcc -fPIC -c ../../liboctopus/src/octopus.c gcc -fPIC -c ../octopus_wrap.c -I /usr/include/python2.4 gcc -fPIC -shared octopus_wrap.o octopus.o /usr/lib/libusb.so -o _octopus.so win: gcc -fPIC -c ../../liboctopus/src/octopus.c -I /c/Programme/libusb-win32-device-bin-0.1.10.1/include gcc -fPIC -c octopus_wrap.c -I /c/Python25/libs -lpython25 -I/c/Python25/include -I /c/Programme/libusb-win32-device-bin-0.1.10.1/include gcc -fPIC -shared *.o -o _octopus.pyd -L/c/Python25/libs -lpython25 -lusb -L/c/Programme/libusb-win32-device-bin-0.1.10.1/lib/gcc clean: rm -f octopus* _octopus* install_python2.4: cp _octopus.so /usr/local/lib/python2.4/site-packages/ cp octopus.py /usr/local/lib/python2.4/site-packages/ install_python2.5: cp _octopus.so /usr/local/lib/python2.5/site-packages/ cp octopus.py /usr/local/lib/python2.5/site-packages/ I dont know how to handle this but as far as I can see octopus.py and _octopus.so are the resulting output files which are relevant to python right? luckily someone already did that and so I put those 2 files to my "python26/lib" folder (hope it doesnt matter if it´s python 2.5 or 2.6?!) So when working with the USB device the octopus.py is the library to work with! Importing this file makes several problems: >>> Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\ameise\My Dropbox\µC\AVR\OCTOPUS\octopususb-0.5\demos\python \blink_status.py", line 8, in <module> from octopus import * File "C:\Python26\lib\octopus.py", line 7, in <module> import _octopus ImportError: DLL load failed: module not found. and here´s the related line 7 : import _octopus So there´s a problem considering the .so file! What could be my next step? I know that´s a lot of confusing stuff but I hope anyone of you could bring some light in my mind! thy in advance

  • How do you invoke a python script inside a jar file using python ?

    - by Trevor
I'm working on an application that intersperses a bunch of jython and java code. Due to the nature of the program (using wsadmin) we are really restricted to Python 2.1 We currently have a jar containing both java source and .py modules. The code is currently invoked using java, but I'd like to remove this in favor of migrating as much functionality as possible to jython. The problem I have is that I want to either import or execute python modules inside the existing jar file from a calling jython script. I've tried a couple of different ways without success. My directory structure looks like: application.jar |-- com |--example |-- action |-- MyAction.class |-- pre_myAction.py The 1st approach I tried was to do imports from the jar. I added the jar to my sys.path and tried to import the module using both import com.example.action.myAction and import myAction. No success however, even when I put init.py files into the directory at each level. The 2nd approach I tried was to load the resource using the java class. So I wrote the below code: import sys import os import com.example.action.MyAction as MyAction scriptName = str(MyAction.getResource('/com/example/action/myAction.py')) scriptStr = MyAction.getResourceAsStream('/com/example/action/myAction.py') try: print execfile(scriptStr) except: print "failed 1" try: print execfile(scriptName) except: print "failed 2" Both of these failed. I'm at a bit of a loss now as to how I should proceed. Any ideas ? cheers, Trevor

  • How can i bundle other files when using cx_freeze?

    - by Mridang Agarwalla
    I'm using Python 2.6 and cx_Freeze 4.1.2 on a Windows system. I've created the setup.py to build my executable and everything works fine. When cx_Freeze runs it movies everything to the build directory. I have some other files that i would like included in my build directory. How can i do this? Here's my structure. src\ setup.py janitor.py README.txt CHNAGELOG.txt helpers\ uncompress\ unRAR.exe unzip.exe Here's my snippet: setup ( name='Janitor', version='1.0', description='Janitor', author='John Doe', author_email='[email protected]', url='http://www.this-page-intentionally-left-blank.org/', data_files = [ ('helpers\uncompress', ['helpers\uncompress\unzip.exe']), ('helpers\uncompress', ['helpers\uncompress\unRAR.exe']), ('', ['README.txt']) ], executables = [ Executable\ ( 'janitor.py', #initScript ) ] ) I can't seem to get this to work. Do i need a MANIFEST.in file? Thank you.

  • Testing warnings with doctest

    - by Eli Courtwright
I'd like to use doctests to test the presence of certain warnings. For example, suppose I have the following module: from warnings import warn class Foo(object): """ Instantiating Foo always gives a warning: >>> foo = Foo() testdocs.py:14: UserWarning: Boo! warn("Boo!", UserWarning) >>> """ def __init__(self): warn("Boo!", UserWarning) If I run python -m doctest testdocs.py to run the doctest in my class and make sure that the warning is printed, I get: testdocs.py:14: UserWarning: Boo! warn("Boo!", UserWarning) ********************************************************************** File "testdocs.py", line 7, in testdocs.Foo Failed example: foo = Foo() Expected: testdocs.py:14: UserWarning: Boo! warn("Boo!", UserWarning) Got nothing ********************************************************************** 1 items had failures: 1 of 1 in testdocs.Foo ***Test Failed*** 1 failures. It looks like the warning is getting printed but not captured or noticed by doctest. I'm guessing that this is because warnings are printed to sys.stderr instead of sys.stdout. But this happens even when I say sys.stderr = sys.stdout at the end of my module. So is there any way to use doctests to test for warnings? I can find no mention of this one way or the other in the documentation or in my Google searching.

It keeps running this weird error TypeError: 'module' object is not callable - I, coming from C++ and C# (for some reason the #include... is so much easier) , have no idea what that means, Google is of no help so... I know I need some real help with sintax and such - anything woudl be helpful. Note: The base code found here was used to create a skeleton for this 'custom button class' Custom Button import wx from wxPython.wx import * class Custom_Button(wx.PyControl): # The BMP's # AM I DOING THIS RIGHT? - I am trying to get empty 'global' # variables within the class Mouse_over_bmp = None #wxEmptyBitmap(1,1,1) # When the mouse is over Norm_bmp = None #wxEmptyBitmap(1,1,1) # The normal BMP Push_bmp = None #wxEmptyBitmap(1,1,1) # The down BMP Pos_bmp = wx.Point(0,0) # The posisition of the button def __init__(self, parent, NORM_BMP, PUSH_BMP, MOUSE_OVER_BMP, pos, size, text="", id=-1, **kwargs): wx.PyControl.__init__(self,parent, id, **kwargs) # The conversions, hereafter, were to solve another but. I don't know if it is # necessary to do this since the source being given to the class (in this case) # is a BMP - is there a better way to prevent an error that i have not # stumbled accost? # Set the BMP's to the ones given in the constructor self.Mouse_over_bmp = wx.Bitmap(wx.Image(MOUSE_OVER_BMP, wx.BITMAP_TYPE_ANY).ConvertToBitmap()) self.Norm_bmp = wx.Bitmap(wx.Image(NORM_BMP, wx.BITMAP_TYPE_ANY).ConvertToBitmap()) self.Push_bmp = wx.Bitmap(wx.Image(PUSH_BMP, wx.BITMAP_TYPE_ANY).ConvertToBitmap()) self.Pos_bmp = self.pos self.Bind(wx.EVT_LEFT_DOWN, self._onMouseDown) self.Bind(wx.EVT_LEFT_UP, self._onMouseUp) self.Bind(wx.EVT_LEAVE_WINDOW, self._onMouseLeave) self.Bind(wx.EVT_ENTER_WINDOW, self._onMouseEnter) self.Bind(wx.EVT_ERASE_BACKGROUND,self._onEraseBackground) self.Bind(wx.EVT_PAINT,self._onPaint) self._mouseIn = self._mouseDown = False def _onMouseEnter(self, event): self._mouseIn = True def _onMouseLeave(self, event): self._mouseIn = False def _onMouseDown(self, event): self._mouseDown = True def _onMouseUp(self, event): self._mouseDown = False self.sendButtonEvent() def sendButtonEvent(self): event = wx.CommandEvent(wx.wxEVT_COMMAND_BUTTON_CLICKED, self.GetId()) event.SetInt(0) event.SetEventObject(self) self.GetEventHandler().ProcessEvent(event) def _onEraseBackground(self,event): # reduce flicker pass def _onPaint(self, event): dc = wx.BufferedPaintDC(self) dc.SetFont(self.GetFont()) dc.SetBackground(wx.Brush(self.GetBackgroundColour())) dc.Clear() dc.DrawBitmap(self.Norm_bmp) # draw whatever you want to draw # draw glossy bitmaps e.g. dc.DrawBitmap if self._mouseIn: # If the Mouse is over the button dc.DrawBitmap(self, self.Mouse_over_bmp, self.Pos_bmp, useMask=False) if self._mouseDown: # If the Mouse clicks the button dc.DrawBitmap(self, self.Push_bmp, self.Pos_bmp, useMask=False) Main.py import wx import Custom_Button from wxPython.wx import * ID_ABOUT = 101 ID_EXIT = 102 class MyFrame(wx.Frame): def __init__(self, parent, ID, title): wxFrame.__init__(self, parent, ID, title, wxDefaultPosition, wxSize(400, 400)) self.CreateStatusBar() self.SetStatusText("Program testing custom button overlays") menu = wxMenu() menu.Append(ID_ABOUT, "&About", "More information about this program") menu.AppendSeparator() menu.Append(ID_EXIT, "E&xit", "Terminate the program") menuBar = wxMenuBar() menuBar.Append(menu, "&File"); self.SetMenuBar(menuBar) self.Button1 = Custom_Button(self, parent, -1, "D:/Documents/Python/Normal.bmp", "D:/Documents/Python/Clicked.bmp", "D:/Documents/Python/Over.bmp", wx.Point(200,200), wx.Size(300,100)) EVT_MENU(self, ID_ABOUT, self.OnAbout) EVT_MENU(self, ID_EXIT, self.TimeToQuit) def OnAbout(self, event): dlg = wxMessageDialog(self, "Testing the functions of custom " "buttons using pyDev and wxPython", "About", wxOK | wxICON_INFORMATION) dlg.ShowModal() dlg.Destroy() def TimeToQuit(self, event): self.Close(true) class MyApp(wx.App): def OnInit(self): frame = MyFrame(NULL, -1, "wxPython | Buttons") frame.Show(true) self.SetTopWindow(frame) return true app = MyApp(0) app.MainLoop() Errors (and traceback) /home/wallter/python/Custom Button overlay/src/Custom_Button.py:8: DeprecationWarning: The wxPython compatibility package is no longer automatically generated or actively maintained.   • Correct way to get absolute url in django

    - by dreamiurg
A problem that I stumbled upon recently, and, even though I solved it, I would like to hear your opinion of what correct/simple/adopted solution would be. I'm developing website using Django + python. When I run it on local machine with "python manage.py runserver", local address is http://127.0.0.1:8000/ by default. However, on production server my app has other url, with path - like "http://server.name/myproj/" I need to generate and use permanent urls. If I'm using {% url view params %}, I'm getting paths that are relative to / , since my urls.py contains this urlpatterns = patterns('', (r'^(\d+)?$', 'myproj.myapp.views.index'), (r'^img/(.*)$', 'django.views.static.serve', {'document_root': settings.MEDIA_ROOT + '/img' }), (r'^css/(.*)$', 'django.views.static.serve', {'document_root': settings.MEDIA_ROOT + '/css' }), ) So far, I see 2 solutions: modify urls.py, include '/myproj/' in case of production run use request.build_absolute_uri() for creating link in views.py or pass some variable with 'hostname:port/path' in templates Are there prettier ways to deal with this problem? Thank you.

  • Pylons 1.0 AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'metadata'

    - by shiki
Python noob trying to learn Pylons. I'm using the QuickWiki tutorial (http://pylonshq.com/docs/en/1.0/tutorials/quickwiki_tutorial/) from the 1.0 documentation, but this alleged "1.0" doc seems to just be "0.9.7"; I suspect that this has something to do with the error I'm getting. When I execute "paster setup-app development.ini", I get this: (mydevenv)lucid@lucid-laptop:~/QuickWiki$ paster setup-app development.ini Traceback (most recent call last): ... edited for brevity... • running jython bytecode using java

    - by noamtm
It looks like I'm missing something. When using Jython to run my Python code in Java, Java bytecode files are generated (test.py - [email protected]). Can I run these classes directly using java? In other words, I want to make this: $ java test@py [additional cp args] work. The intent: writing Python code and not having to give away source code.

  • stopping a cherrypy server over http

    - by d.c
I have a cherrypy app that I'm controlling over http with a wxpython ui. I want to kill the server when the ui closes, but I don't know how to do that. Right now I'm just doing a sys.exit() on the window close event but thats resulting in Traceback (most recent call last): File "ui.py", line 67, in exitevent urllib.urlopen("http://"+server+"/?sigkill=1") File "c:\python26\lib\urllib.py", line 87, in urlopen return opener.open(url) File "c:\python26\lib\urllib.py", line 206, in open return getattr(self, name)(url) File "c:\python26\lib\urllib.py", line 354, in open_http 'got a bad status line', None) IOError: ('http protocol error', 0, 'got a bad status line', None) is that because I'm not stopping cherrypy properly?

  • url template tag in django template

    - by user192048
guys: I was trying to use the url template tag in django, but no lucky, I defined my urls.py like this urlpatterns = patterns('', url(r'^analyse/$', views.home, name="home"), url(r'^analyse/index.html', views.index, name="index"), url(r'^analyse/setup.html', views.setup, name="setup"), url(r'^analyse/show.html', views.show, name="show"), url(r'^analyse/generate.html', views.generate, name="generate"), I defined the url pattern in my view like this {% url 'show'%} then I got this error message Caught an exception while rendering: Reverse for ''show'' with arguments '()' and keyword arguments '{}' not found. Original Traceback (most recent call last): File "/Library/Python/2.5/site-packages/django/template/debug.py", line 71, in render_node result = node.render(context) File "/Library/Python/2.5/site-packages/django/template/defaulttags.py", line 155, in render nodelist.append(node.render(context)) File "/Library/Python/2.5/site-packages/django/template/defaulttags.py", line 382, in render raise e NoReverseMatch: Reverse for ''show'' with arguments '()' and keyword arguments '{}' not found. I am wondering why django failed to render? what is the right way to define it in the tempalte?
