    I have some messages in my queue. Now I notice that after 3 tries the service host faults. Is this a normal behavior? Where does the 3 times comes from? I thought it came from receiveRetryCount. But I set that one to 1. I got 20 messages in my queue waiting to be processed. The WCF operation that is responsible to process the message supports transaction so if it can't process the message it will throw so that the message stays in the queue. I didn't think that it would of Fault the ServiceHost after a number of retry, is this part documented somewhere? I'm running MSMQ service on my winxp machine. I'm more interested in documentation indicating that the service host will fault after a number of retry. Is this part true?

  • Cocoa-Binding : Submit changes manually?

    Hello in my application I have a NSTableView bound to an ArrayController (arrangedObjects). I also have a Details-View (just some textfields) bound to the same Controller (selection). Now every time I edit a textfield the changes are automatically send to the ArrayController and the Table changes as well. How can I avoid this? What I want is a "Submit-Button". Changes on the data should only be send to the controller when I press the button and not automatically every time I do an edit.

    Hi, I've been using C# for a while and began a program now to learn WPF-which means I know almost nothing of it. I used this tutorial as a guide to do what I wanted to do (which is binding a database to a datagrid), after a hard struggle to add the adapter as the source of the datagrid I now want to enable editing with validation on some of the cells. My problem is that the data is sent straight from the adapter and not through an object collection (I had a hard time getting to this situation, see the first half of the tutorial on how to bind the adapter and dataset through the resources) but the tutorial doesn't show a way to validate the datagrid if the data is sent through an adapter-only through a collection. To make it clear-how do I validate input in a datagrid that is bound to an adapter through a resource?   • Accessing and binding events to an ASP.NET Grid view using Jquery

    I have an ASP page which displays a text box when it loads. It takes an input number, send it to the server through post back, and then displays some record in a grid view. After a number is input into the box, the server fetches some data from a database and add records to the grid view. It also contains a link column, whose URL is set to "#", so that the page isn't redirected when it is clicked. Now I want to bind a jquery "click" event to that link. How can I do that ? I have tried that to do myself but failed, because it is not available when the DOM is loaded (since it only contains rows when a number is input through the box), and is being modified through ASP.NET Ajax post back.

    Basically my setup is this. I have a many-to-many relationship in Core Data where a student entity can have multiple courses, and a course entity can have multiple students. My problem is in trying to figure out how to bind this relationship to the UI in Interface Builder. I want to be able to add courses to a course array controller, then have those courses displayed in a popup menu in a NSTableView in the Edit Student window where you can add courses to a student.     Hi, I have a well defined tree repository. Where I can rename items, move them up, down, etc. Add new and delete. The data is stored in a table as follows: Index Parent Label Left Right 1 0 root 1 14 2 1 food 2 7 3 2 cake 3 4 4 2 pie 5 6 5 1 flowers 8 13 6 5 roses 9 10 7 5 violets 11 12 Representing the following tree: (1) root (14) (2) food (7) (8) flowers (13) (3) cake (4) (5) pie (6) (9) roeses (10) (11) violets (12) or root food cake pie flowers roses violets Now, my problem is how to represent this in a bindable way, so that a TreeView can handle all the possible data changes? Renaming is easy, all I need is to make the label an updatble field. But what if a user moves flowers above food? I can make the relevant data changes, but they cause a complete data change to all other items in the tree. And all the examples I found of bindable hierarchies are good for non static trees.. So my current (and bad) solution is to reload the displayed tree after relocation change. Any direction will be good. Thanks

But how do i specify that when i add a new row in this method? I catch this exception ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("SYSMAN".AUTHOR.AUTHORID") which is obvious because nothing was specified for the primary key. How do get around this?   • Binding CoreData Managed Object to NSTextFieldCell subclass

    I have an NSTableView which has its first column set to contain a custom NSTextFieldCell. My custom NSTextFieldCell needs to allow the user to edit a "desc" property within my Managed Object but to also display an "info" string that it contains (which is not editable). To achieve this, I followed this tutorial. In a nutshell, the tutorial suggests editing your Managed Objects generated subclass to create and pass a dictionary of its contents to your NSTableColumn via bindings. This works well for read-only NSCell implementations, but I'm looking to subclass NSTextFieldCell to allow the user to edit the "desc" property of my Managed Object. To do this, I followed one of the articles comments, which suggests subclassing NSFormatter to explicitly state which Managed Object property you would like the NSTextFieldCell to edit. The behaviour I'm seeing is that editing a row will work as expected until you try to edit another row. Upon editing another row, all previously edited rows will have their "desc" value set to the value of the currently selected row. I've been doing a lot of reading on this subject and would really like to get to the bottom of this. What's more frustrating is that my NSTextFieldCell is rendering exactly how I would like it to. This editing issue is my last obstacle! If anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated.

  • Datagridview Winforms Add or Delete Rows in Edit Mode with Collection Binding

    In my datagridview, I bind a List of objects named 'ProductLine'. But unfortunately with this approach I cannot 'Add' or 'Delete' rows to the datagridview in edit mode. When I create a fresh new order I can Add or Delete rows but once I save it and try to open it in Edit then it doesn't let me 'Add' or 'Delete' (via keyboard). Any idea?   • Key strokes in wpf window hosted in MFC ActiveX running in Internet Explorer

    We have an MFC ActiveX control created in Visual Studio 2008 with CLR support which creates a WPF grid and shows a WPF window within that grid. This ActiveX is hosted within Internet Explorer and it shows up and works nicely except that the tab key, backspace, function keys etc. does not work since they are handeled by IE instead of the WPF window. Regular characters works nicely. This is a known feature and previously when we used to have MFC based dialogs within this ActiveX we used this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/187988. By just using this code directly the AfxGetApp()->PreTranslateMessage((LPMSG)lParam) statement will return FALSE, so I'm not able to get the key stroke to be handled by the WPF window. I beleive I need to ask the WPF application this instead of the CWinApp, but I'm not sure how and if this can be done. Does anyone have enough understanding of what's going on here to get this to work? Using XBAP instead of ActiveX is not an option as this is run in an intranet application which needs more access than the sandbox can give us. I hope this is enough information. It works fine in server side program but it is not working in mobile side. Thus, I assume that it is not compactible with Android. I used the following class to get the parameters. It returns a comma-separated string of 3 values. The first number is the prime modulus P. The second number is the base generator G. The third number is bit size of the random exponent L.
