  • Doctrine CodeIgniter MySQL CRUD errors

    - by 01010011
Hi, I am using CI + Doctrine + MySQL and I am getting the following CRUD errors: (1) When trying to create a new record in the database with this code: $book_title = 'The Peloponnesian War'; $b = new Book(); $b-title = $book_title; $b-price = 10.50; $b-save(); I get this error: Fatal error: Uncaught exeption 'Doctrine_Connection_Mysql_Exception' with message 'SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'title' in 'field list' in ... (2) When trying to fetch a record from the database and display on my view page with this code: $book_title = 'The Peloponnesian War'; $title = $book_title; $search_results = Doctrine::getTable('Book')-findOneByTitle($title); echo $search_results-title; (in view file) I get this error: Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Doctrine_Connection_Mysql_Exception' with message 'SQLSTATE[45S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'b.id' in 'field list" in ... And finally, when I try to update a record as follows: $book_title = 'The Peloponnesian War'; $title = $book_title; $u = Doctrine::getTable('Book')-find($title); $u-title = $title; $u-save(); I get a similar error: Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Doctrine_Connection_Mysql_Exception' with message 'SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'b.id' in 'field list''in ... Here is my Doctrine_Record model: class Book extends Doctrine_Record{ public function setTableDefinition() { $this->hasColumn('book_id'); $this->hasColumn('isbn10','varchar',20); $this->hasColumn('isbn13','varchar',20); $this->hasColumn('title','varchar',100); $this->hasColumn('edition','varchar',20); $this->hasColumn('author_f_name','varchar',20); $this->hasColumn('author_m_name','varchar',20); $this->hasColumn('author_l_name','varchar',20); $this->hasColumn('cond','enum',null, array('values' => array('as new','very good','good','fair','poor'))); $this->hasColumn('price','decimal',8, array('scale' =>2)); $this->hasColumn('genre','varchar',20); } public function setUp() { $this->setTableName('Book'); //$this->actAs('Timestampable'); } Any assistance will be really appreciated. • Fluent NHibernate - subclasses with shared reference

    - by ollie
Edit: changed class names. I'm using Fluent NHibernate (v 1.0.0.614) automapping on the following set of classes (where Entity is the base class provided in the S#arp Architecture framework): public class Car : Entity { public virtual int ModelYear { get; set; } public virtual Company Manufacturer { get; set; } } public class Sedan : Car { public virtual bool WonSedanOfYear { get; set; } } public class Company : Entity { public virtual IList<Sedan> Sedans { get; set; } } This results in the following Configuration (as written to hbm.xml): <class name="Company" table="Companies"> <id name="Id" type="System.Int32" unsaved-value="0"> <column name="`ID`" /> <generator class="identity" /> </id> <bag cascade="all" inverse="true" name="Sedans" mutable="true"> <key> <column name="`CompanyID`" /> </key> <one-to-many class="Sedan" /> </bag> </class> <class name="Car" table="Cars"> <id name="Id" type="System.Int32" unsaved-value="0"> <column name="`ID`" /> <generator class="identity" /> </id> <property name="ModelYear" type="System.Int32"> <column name="`ModelYear`" /> </property> <many-to-one cascade="save-update" class="Company" name="Manufacturer"> <column name="`CompanyID`" /> </many-to-one> <joined-subclass name="Sedan"> <key> <column name="`CarID`" /> </key> <property name="WonSedanOfYear" type="System.Boolean"> <column name="`WonSedanOfYear`" /> </property> </joined-subclass> </class> So far so good! But now comes the ugly part. The generated database tables: Table: Companies Columns: ID (PK, int, not null) Table: Cars Columns: ID (PK, int, not null) ModelYear (int, null) CompanyID (FK, int, null) Table: Sedan Columns: CarID (PK, FK, int, not null) WonSedanOfYear (bit, null) CompanyID (FK, int, null) Instead of one FK for Company, I get two! How can I ensure I only get one FK for Company? Override the automapping? Put a convention in place? Or is this a bug? Your thoughts are appreciated.

  • @OneToMany and composite primary keys?

    - by Kris Pruden
Hi, I'm using Hibernate with annotations (in spring), and I have an object which has an ordered, many-to-one relationship which a child object which has a composite primary key, one component of which is a foreign key back to the id of the parent object. The structure looks something like this: +=============+ +================+ | ParentObj | | ObjectChild | +-------------+ 1 0..* +----------------+ | id (pk) |-----------------| parentId | | ... | | name | +=============+ | pos | | ... | +================+ I've tried a variety of combinations of annotations, none of which seem to work. This is the closest I've been able to come up with: @Entity public class ParentObject { @Column(nullable=false, updatable=false) private String id; @OneToMany(mappedBy="object", fetch=FetchType.EAGER) @IndexColumn(name = "pos", base=0) private List<ObjectChild> attrs; ... } @Entity public class ChildObject { @Embeddable public static class Pk implements Serializable { @Column(nullable=false, updatable=false) private String objectId; @Column(nullable=false, updatable=false) private String name; @Column(nullable=false, updatable=false) private int pos; ... } @EmbeddedId private Pk pk; @ManyToOne @JoinColumn(name="parentId") private ParentObject parent; ... } I arrived at this after a long bout of experimentation in which most of my other attempts yielded entities which hibernate couldn't even load for various reasons. The error I get when I try to read one of these objects (they seem to save OK), I get an error of this form: org.hibernate.exception.SQLGrammarException: could not initialize a collection: ... And the root cause is this: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.MySQLSyntaxErrorException: Unknown column 'attrs0_.id' in 'field list' I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but the documentation is not clear on this matter, and I haven't been able to find any examples of this anywhere else. Thanks!

  • jQGrid is not loading data

    - by user324777
Hi, I am using jqGrid for my data table solution. Below are the configuration codes. $(function() { $("#submitInput").click(function() { alert("I am called...") jQuery("#list").jqGrid({ datatype: "json", url: "http://localhost:1201/admin/someURL.htm", mtype:"POST", height: "auto", colNames:["Column 1", "Column 2", "Column 3", "Column 4", "Column 5"], colModel:[ {name:"col1", index:"col1", sortable:true, resizable:false}, {name:"col2", index:"col2", sortable:true}, {name:"col3", index:"col3", sortable:false, resizable:false}, {name:"col4", index:"col4", sortable:true, resizable:false}, {name:"col5", index:"col5", sortable:true, resizable:false} ], sortname:'col1', sortorder:'asc', pager: $('#pager'), rowNum:10, viewrecords: true, rowList:[10,20,30], caption: 'Some Grid Values', jsonReader: { root: "responseData", page: "currentPage", total: "totalPages", records: "totalFetchedRecords", repeatitems: true, cell: "rowContent", id: "rowID" }, gridComplete: function() { alert("Loading done..."); } }); }); }); My JSON data is coming in following format: "currentPage":"1","responseData":[ {"rowContent":["Col1_Val_000001","Col2_Val_1","Col3_Val_1","Col4_Val_1","Col5_Val_1"],"rowID":"Col1_Val_000001"}, {"rowContent":["Col1_Val_000002","Col2_Val_2","Col3_Val_2","Col4_Val_2","Col5_Val_2"],"rowID":"Col1_Val_000002"} ], "totalFetchedRecords":"50","totalPages":"5"} In my HTML, there is a button with id "submitInput" and a table with id "list". Somehow, this data is not loaded into the grid. Please provide some help. Thanks, Niranjan

  • Binding a dependency property to another dependency property

Take this scenario where I am working with a grid like control: <RadGrid DataContext={Binding someDataContextObject, Mode=OneWay}> <RadGrid.columns> <RadGrid.Column Header="Column Header" DataMember="{Binding dataContextObjectProperty, Mode=OneWay}"> [...] <DataTemplate> <MyCustomControl Data="{Binding ???}" /> </DataTemplate> <\RadGrid.Column> </RadGrid.columns> </RadGrid> I would like to bind the Data dependency property of MyCustomControl to the DataMember dependency property of the column to avoid multiple bindings to the same data. How do I do it?

  • SqlMetal, Sql Server 2008 database, Table with HierachyID, dal cs file is created sometimes ?

    - by judek.mp
I have 2 databases with a 2 tables with HierachyID fields. For one database I can get a dal cs file, for the other database I cannot get a dal cs file ? HBus is a database I can get the dal cs for, ... SqlMetal /server:.\SQLSERVER2008 /database:HBus /code:HBusDC.cs /views /functions /sprocs /namespace:HBusDC /context:HBusDataContext This kicks me out a file, ... which works, but excludes the HierarchyID field for the table and includes all other fields for that table. This is OK I do not mind. • How do I create an empty custom table in Wix

    - by Samuel Jack
How do I get Wix to include a CustomTable with no rows in the final MSI? If I simply define the table like this <CustomTable Id="MyTable"> <Column Id="Id" Type="string" Category="Identifier" PrimaryKey="yes"/> <Column Id="Root" Type="string"/> <Column Id="Key" Type="string"/> <Column Id="Name" Type="string"/> </CustomTable> Wix omits it from the final output. My CustomAction is expecting it to be there, so that it can add rows to it during execution. Any ideas?

  • Replace values in a dataframe based on another factor which contains NA's in R

    - by PaulHurleyuk
I have a dataframe which contains (among other things) a numeric column with a concentration, and a factor column with a status flag. This status flag contains NA's. Here's an example df<-structure(list(conc = c(101.769, 1.734, 62.944, 92.697, 25.091, 27.377, 24.343, 55.084, 0.335, 23.280), status = structure(c(NA, NA, NA, NA, NA, NA, 2L, NA, 1L, NA), .Label = c("<LLOQ", "NR"), class = "factor")), .Names = c("conc", "status"), row.names = c(NA, -10L), class = "data.frame") I want to replace the concentration column with a string for some values of the flag column, or with the concentration value formatted to a certain number of significant digits. When I try this ifelse(df$status=="NR","NR",df$conc) The NA's in the status flag don't trigger either the true or false condition (and return NA) - as the documentation suggests it will. I could loop over the rows and use IF then else on each one but this seems inefficient. Am I missing something ? I've tried as.character(df$status) as well which doesn't work. My mojo must be getting low....

  • AVFoundation buffer comparison to a saved image

    - by user577552
Hi, I am a long time reader, first time poster on StackOverflow, and must say it has been a great source of knowledge for me. I am trying to get to know the AVFoundation framework. What I want to do is save what the camera sees and then detect when something changes. Here is the part where I save the image to a UIImage : if (shouldSetBackgroundImage) { CGColorSpaceRef colorSpace = CGColorSpaceCreateDeviceRGB(); // Create a bitmap graphics context with the sample buffer data CGContextRef context = CGBitmapContextCreate(rowBase, bufferWidth, bufferHeight, 8, bytesPerRow, colorSpace, kCGBitmapByteOrder32Little | kCGImageAlphaPremultipliedFirst); // Create a Quartz image from the pixel data in the bitmap graphics context CGImageRef quartzImage = CGBitmapContextCreateImage(context); // Free up the context and color space CGContextRelease(context); CGColorSpaceRelease(colorSpace); // Create an image object from the Quartz image UIImage * image = [UIImage imageWithCGImage:quartzImage]; [self setBackgroundImage:image]; NSLog(@"reference image actually set"); // Release the Quartz image CGImageRelease(quartzImage); //Signal that the image has been saved shouldSetBackgroundImage = NO; } and here is the part where I check if there is any change in the image seen by the camera : else { CGImageRef cgImage = [backgroundImage CGImage]; CGDataProviderRef provider = CGImageGetDataProvider(cgImage); CFDataRef bitmapData = CGDataProviderCopyData(provider); char* data = CFDataGetBytePtr(bitmapData); if (data != NULL) { int64_t numDiffer = 0, pixelCount = 0; NSMutableArray * pointsMutable = [NSMutableArray array]; for( int row = 0; row < bufferHeight; row += 8 ) { for( int column = 0; column < bufferWidth; column += 8 ) { //we get one pixel from each source (buffer and saved image) unsigned char *pixel = rowBase + (row * bytesPerRow) + (column * BYTES_PER_PIXEL); unsigned char *referencePixel = data + (row * bytesPerRow) + (column * BYTES_PER_PIXEL); pixelCount++; if ( !match(pixel, referencePixel, matchThreshold) ) { numDiffer++; [pointsMutable addObject:[NSValue valueWithCGPoint:CGPointMake(SCREEN_WIDTH - (column/ (float) bufferHeight)* SCREEN_WIDTH - 4.0, (row/ (float) bufferWidth)* SCREEN_HEIGHT- 4.0)]]; } } } numberOfPixelsThatDiffer = numDiffer; points = [pointsMutable copy]; } For some reason, this doesn't work, meaning that the iPhone detects almost everything as being different from the saved image, even though I set a very low threshold for detection in the match function... Do you have any idea of what I am doing wrong?

  • Missing taglibrary in Netbeans Hibernate tutorial xhtml file?

    - by Christopher W. Allen-Poole
    I just finished the Netbeans introduction to Hibernate tutorial ( http://netbeans.org/kb/docs/web/hibernate-webapp.html#01 ) and I am getting the following error: "This page calls for XML namespace declared with prefix br but no taglibrary exists" Now, I have seen a similar question somewhere else: http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5430327 but the answer is not listed there. Or, if it is, then I am clearly missing it -- line one of my index.xhtml file reads "http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml". It also does not explain why, when I reload localhost:8080, the message disappears. Here is my index.xhtml file: <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html" xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets" xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"> <ui:composition template="./template.xhtml"> <ui:define name="body"> <h:form> <h:commandLink action="#{filmController.previous}" value="Previous #{filmController.pageSize}" rendered="#{filmController.hasPreviousPage}"/> <h:commandLink action="#{filmController.next}" value="Next #{filmController.pageSize}" rendered="#{filmController.hasNextPage}"/> <h:dataTable value="#{filmController.filmTitles}" var="item" border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" rowClasses="jsfcrud_odd_row,jsfcrud_even_row" rules="all" style="border:solid 1px"> <h:column> <f:facet name="header"> <h:outputText value="Title"/> </f:facet> <h:outputText value="#{item.title}"/> </h:column> <h:column> <f:facet name="header"> <h:outputText value="Description"/> </f:facet> <h:outputText value="#{item.description}"/> </h:column> <h:column> <f:facet name="header"> <h:outputText value=" "/> </f:facet> <h:commandLink action="#{filmController.prepareView}" value="View"/> </h:column> </h:dataTable> <br/> </h:form> </ui:define> </ui:composition> </html>

  • AWK If/ElseConditional Problem

    - by neversaint
    I have a data that looks like this: foo foo scaffold_7 1 4845 6422 4845 bar bar scaffold_7 -1 14689 16310 16310 What I want to do is to process the above lines where I just want to print column 1,2,3, 7 and one more column after 7th. But with condition when printing column 7 onwards. Below is my awk script: awk '{ if ($4=="+") { {end=$6-$5}{print $1 "\t" $2 "\t" $3 "\t" $4 "\t" $7 "\t" end+$7} } else {end=$6-$5}{print $1 "\t" $2 "\t" $3 "\t" $4 "\t" $7-end "\t" $7} }' But why it doesn't achieve the desired result like this? foo foo scaffold_7 1 4845 6422 bar bar scaffold_7 -1 14689 16310 Note that the arithmetic (e.g. $7-end or end+$7) is a must. So we can't just swap column from input file. Furthermore this AWK will be inside a bash script.

  • Table Design For SystemSettings, Best Model

    - by Chris L
Someone suggested moving a table full of settings, where each column is a setting name(or type) and the rows are the customers & their respective settings for each setting. ID | IsAdmin | ImagePath ------------------------------ 12 | 1          | \path\to\images 34 | 0          | \path\to\images The downside to this is every time we want a new setting name(or type) we alter the table(via sql) and add the new (column)setting name/type. Then update the rows(so that each customer now has a value for that setting). The new table design proposal. The proposal is to have a column for setting name and another column for setting. ID | SettingName | SettingValue ---------------------------- 12 | IsAdmin        | 1 12 | ImagePath   | \path\to\images 34 | IsAdmin        | 0 34 | ImagePath   | \path\to\images The point they made was that adding a new setting was as easy as a simple insert statement to the row, no added column. But something doesn't feel right about the second design, it looks bad, but I can't come up with any arguments against it. Am I wrong?

    - by Bundy
Hi, Database setup (MySQL) table: top_fives id, uid, first, second, third, fourth, fifth, creation_date 1, 1, cheese, eggs, ham, bacon, ketchup, 2010-03-17 2, 2, mayonaise, cheese, ketchup, eggs, bacon, 2010-03-17 Users can submit their top 5 of a certain subject. Now I would like a summary of the top fives ordered by popularity. Each column has it's own point value. column 'first' is rewarded 5 points, 'second' four points, 'third' three points, and so on... So, in my example it should be something like this: 1 Cheese (9 points = 5 + 4 -> 1 time in 'first' column and 1 time in 'second' column) 2 Eggs (6 points) 3 Mayonaise (5 points) 4 Ketchup (4 points) 5 Bacon (3 points) 6 Ham (3 points) What would be the easiest solution (PHP) for this kind of situation? • Mapping self-table one-to-many using non-PK clolumns

    - by Harel Moshe
Hey, i have a legacy DB to which a Person object is mapped, having a collection of family-members, like this: class Person { ... string Id; /* 9-digits string */ IList<Person> Family; ... } The PERSON table seems like: Id: CHAR(9), PK FamilyId: INT, NOT NULL and several other non-relevant columns. I'm trying to map the Family collection to the PERSON table using the FamilyId column, which is not the PK as mentioned above. So, i actually have a one-to-many which is self-table-referential. I'm getting an error saying 'Cast is not valid' when my mapping looks like this: ... <set name="Family" table="Person" lazy="false"> <key column="FamilyId" /> <one-to-many class="Person" /> </set> ... because obviously, the join NHibernate is trying to make is between the PK column, Id, and the 'secondary' column, FamilyId, instead of joining the FamilyId column to itself. Any ideas please?

hi guys, suppose i have one column in mysql database which is stated last time one equipment is up in h:i:s format (ex: 00:05:11) or 1d21h, means that the equipment is on since 5 min before, what is the best method i can convert this to unix timestamp, say if using php script how? or direct convert last unix timestamp using mysql function query. actually, i want to calculate for start time for this equipment uptime in unix timestamp where i have one column in mysql startcapture that will be deducted with last column to get start time. so starttime = startcapture - last (this last time that has to convert to unix timestamp based on now() - h:i:s ). but the problem is sometimes the format change from h:i:s to ex: 1d22h, if h:i:s means the equipment is up since ex: 00:05:11 min before and if 1d22h means the equipment already up 1 day 22 hours before. so the main things here is to convert last column to appropriate unix timestamp. please help guys, asap.
