    Say you have a Price object that accepts either an (int quantity, decimal price) or a string containing "4/$3.99". Is there a way to limit which properties can be set together? Feel free to correct me in my logic below. The Test: A and B are equal to each other, but the C example should not be allowed.     I have an application that uses an access 2000 database currently in distribution. I need to update one of the recordsets with additional fields on my customer's computers. My data controls work fine as I have them set to connect in access 2000 format but when I try to open the database in code, I get an unrecognized data format error.     I am using Netbeans 6.8 The problem is that the projects explorer (that displays all the projects and their contents) displays each package as a node. For instance, if there is package hierarchy like this; com.mycompany.myproject.package1.package1.1 then it displays 5 nodes for the five packages which is very disturbing while development. Is there any way by which I can configure it(Netbeans) so that it groups all the subpackages of a package under one node and displays the subpackages only when I expand the package node?

I've checked my Release and Debug folders but those executable don't work. The release .exe is something like 21KB which doesn't seem right.     Hi, I'm looking at market stats here for sdk distribution: http://developer.android.com/resources/dashboard/platform-versions.html saying that 31% of marketplace users are still running 1.5. Is it true that an OS update went out for G1 and myTouch users? I'm wondering why so many people are still running 1.5 if so? Just curious because I'd like to use th setView() method introduced in 1.6 for TabSpec, but not if so many people are still using 1.5, I might have to roll my own control, Thanks

    I need to insert many small rows rapidly into Oracle. (5 fields). With MySQL, I break the inserts into groups of 100, then use one insert statement for every group of 100 inserts. But with Oracle, user feedback is that the mass inserts (anywhere from 1000-30000) are too slow. Is there a similar trick I can use to speed up the programmatic inserts from Java into Oracle?

The best solution I have for this is to create three database tables as follows: UserTable user_id user_name UserGroupLink group_id member_id GroupInfo group_id group_name This method keeps the member and group information separate. This is just my way of thinking. Is there a better way to do this? Also, what is a good naming convention for tables that link two other tables?
