  • Calculate actual time from different timezones in php

    Hai, I would like to calculate actual time from different timezones. I have two mysql tables 1.Timezone table: This table contians two fields (offset value, country name) values are ( -12:00, Eniwetok, Kwajalein) (-11:00, Midway Island, Samoa).... so on 2.My employee table This table contains the employees details with two field names (created_on, timezone) and the values are (current timestamp, -11:00) (current timestamp, -12:00)..... so on Now, If my employee logged in to my system, i want to display the time according to their timezones values from tables. Basically if my Current timestamp is :2010-05-10 15:41:39 offset values is: +5:30 my result should be : 10 May 2010 3:41pm the same for different offset values for the same current timestamp. I believe i explained the issue correctly, if you want any information, please ask me.

    I have a few images that i need to upload using an online form. So far here's my code $info = array('test title','1234','virginia','@'.realpath('e:\wamp\www\1.jpg'),'@'.realpath('e:\wamp\www\2.jpg'),'@'.realpath('e:\wamp\www\3.jpg'),'@'.realpath('e:\wamp\www\4.jpg'),'test description'); $post->postAd($url, $info); The $info array is processed in the postAd method and it's being sent as an associative array using a method from a Curl class i have (it has been tested and worked nicely with everything i needed to do so far with curl). The problem is that the data is completed correctly on the form but the images are not uploaded. Can anyone help with advices/code/guidance?

  • How can I modify an Android bitmap in C++ (JNI/NDK) so that I can use on the Java side?

    I call a C++ function over JNI and pass a RGBA_8888 bitmap, lock it, change the values, unlock it, return and then display it in Java with this C++ code: AndroidBitmap_getInfo(env, map, &info) < 0); AndroidBitmap_lockPixels(env, map, (void**)&pixel); for(i=info.width*info.height-1;i>=0;i--) { pixel[i] = 0xf1f1f1f1; } AndroidBitmap_unlockPixels(env, map); The problem I have is that the bitmaps looks not as I expect it and the pixel values (verified with getPixel) are not the same when I check them in Java from what I set them in C++. When I set the bitmap values to 0xffffffff I get the correct value in Java, but for many others I don't. 0xf1f1f1f1 for example turns into 0xF1FFFFFF. What do I have to do to make it work ? PS: I am using Android 2.3.4

The question is how should my (ideally fluent) mappings look like here? It is not necessary (from my point of view) for Hour class to have Id or be accessible from some kind of repository.

Take a look for yourself: http://www.isahat.com The template breaks right away since the first button of the Tab menu is linked to index.php like so: Home Info The second tab menu shows my Info page just fine, but on top of everything else. My home page and everything else gets shifted down to make room for Info page.     Need some help figuring out how to best Store Passwords, User information/Profile data and Photo/Video albums for a social website? For photos/videos the actual photo/video + even encrypting the URL with the IDs to the photo/videos so other users cannot figure it out. Creating a site like myspace and designing retirement documents but i am unsure how to specify the security requirements for the database. Two things: 1) Protect from outside users 2) Protect all these from employees being able to access this info For #2, the additional question is: If we encrypt the user info and password so even the system admins cannot get in, how can we retrieve the user data tomorrow if someone flags the user's account as spam and admin needs to check it out or if law enforcement wants info on a user?     Hi there, i have a very simple question about Google Maps API. In this case, i have on my page a map on the left, with about 40 points, and the list of these 40 points on the right. So you know, when you click on a point of the map, the "info window" is displayed so you can see some informations about it. I can't find how can i do to simply open the "info window" on the map, by making a "hover" on the corresponding link. (and by the way, close all the others info windows) Did someone have an idea about this? Thanks a lot, have a nice day! :)

Where is it configured ? Question 2 How could I run 2 applications in parallel ? I guess I need to configure one of them to be on other port (like 3001). How should I do this ?

    I am currently trying to sanitize some log files so they are in an easier format to read, and have been trying to use the gnu cut command, which works fairly well, although I cannot really think of a good way to remove the [INFO] part of the string logs/logs/server_1283258036.log:2010-08-31 23:06:51 [INFO] <NateMar> where?! logs/logs/server_1281904775.log:2010-08-15 22:59:53 [INFO] <BoonTheMoon> §b<BoonTheMoon>§ohhhhhh I would ultimately want to get the strings down to something that resembles the following 2010-08-31 23:06:51 <NateMar> where?! 2010-08-15 22:59:53 <BoonTheMoon> ohhhhhh how should I go about doing this? Have thought about using awk, although Im having a difficult time getting a grip on how that would work, so not sure how to set up something to do that, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

  • How to change the app name in OSX menubar in a pure-Python application bundle?

    I am trying to create a pure-Python application bundle for a wxPython app. I created the .app directory with the files described in Apple docs, with an Info.plist file etc. The only difference between a "normal" app and this bundle is that the entry point (CFBundleExecutable) is a script which starts with the following line: #!/usr/bin/env python2.5 Everything works fine except that the application name in the OSX menubar is still "Python" although I have set the CFBundleName in Info.plist (I copied the result of py2app, actually). The full Info.plist can be viewed here: http://tinyurl.com/32qgpjt How can I change this? I have read everywhere that the menubar name is only determined by CFBundleName. How is it possible that the Python interpreter can change this in runtime? Note: I was using py2app before, but the result was too large (50 MB instead of the current 100KB) and it was not even portable between Leopard and Snow Leopard... so it seems to be much easier to create a pure-Python app bundle "by hand" than transforming the output of py2app.

  • Entering Complex Data into Access

    Fairly new to Access and trying to do something that seems simple, but may be very complex. I want to create a database of projects, each project has several phases (ie proposal, marketing, etc) and that will allow for multiple employees to work on a single project. Ie Bob and John are working on project number 102. From here, i would like to enter the forecasted start and end dates for each phase of the project, and enter the forecasted number our hours each employee will be allowed to work on that phase of that project ie. Project - Employee - Phase - Start - End - (list weeks) 102 - Bob - Marketing - 12-May-10 - 21-May-10 - 3 - 5 (3 hours first week, 5 hours the second) and so on Basically would all this data be on one table, or several? And can access dynamically show the weeks between the start and end date so that i can input the hours? I feel this database will become severely complicated :S Thanks, J

  • Reconstructing simple 3d enviroment(room) from photo

    I have photo of a room with three walls and floor/ceiling or both. I am trying to reconstruct this room in 3d asking user for minimal input. Right now I use 8 points defined by user, angles of left and right wall(they can be quite different from 90) and one size "InLeftBottom-InRightBottom"(I need to have real size of this room for later use). I have no info about user's camera(I can read EXIF to get FOV and use constant height but this can be only used as additional info). Is this possible to ask user for less info? Maybe it's possible to get wall angles without user interaction? Or maybe I am completly wrong and should use different approach?

  • Why does the infobox in my MSN Map not close?

    I'm having a bit of trouble with this map, invoked by the "View our interactive map" button in the middle of the content area. If you double click a point such as 8 which causes a zoom and then afterwards it causes the info box to appear, the hide logic is wrong. If you try to close the x, it will fail. This is probably because the user clicked too fast and the map thinks its in zoom mode when infact it should be in info box mode. Has anyone ran into this issue before? Looks like I have to mess around with window.ero.hide and some other functions.. because map.HideInfoBox doesn't hide the map. EDIT: The script used is here. I did not code it, but the relevant bit has: onclick="EnableEroHide();map.HideInfoBox();changePin();return false;" The map.HideInfoBox() should hide the info box.

I would like to find out how their age( a company in which an employee is hired and an employee) are similar or not. I think I need to standarize also.. calcuate euclidean distance between each person and a company. (4-5 people in a company) calculate euclidean distance between each person and a company in industry level. My dataset is like this: person person_age company company_age insustry 1 50 1 5 1 2 40 1 5 1 3 30 2 1 1 4 20 2 1 1 5 25 3 8 2 Please help me. I don't mind using SAS or R. I am very confused.

    I am trying to create an option in the right-click menu that is dynamic based on the user's action. If the user selects some text, then right-clicks, the option will say "Display It". If the user right-clicks without selecting some text, the option will say "Select Some Text First" and be grayed out. I am wondering how do I achieve this? I currently have it so that the option will appear only when the user has selected some text.     Hey guys, I am new to android programming and i am trying to make an app that will interface with a website i have. It is a movie website with all of its information stored in SQL database. I know how to write the requests and queries in .asp but dont know how to get information from the database in my app. I want the user to be able to enter a movie title, and through a couple of stored procedures that are in my SQL database, return the info on that movie(actor, budget, genre....). I would like to have little info stored on the device, have all of the queries being sent to my SQL server and just have the info being returned.     Hi, In a small test project, I currently have the provider sections in the web.config. I want to move that to a separate config file, like providers.config. My current provider instantiation code is like: //Get the feature's configuration info ProviderConfiguration pc = (ProviderConfiguration)ConfigurationManager.GetSection(DATA_PROVIDER_NAME); This code works if the provider info is in web.config, but how to I read this info from another file (like providers.condfig) because it seems that the ConfigurationManager "reads" only web.config file.     I have one employee table...this table has 5 coloumns (empname, empgsm, empsal, empaddr, empdep)...it has 10 records. i've created 10 users equivelent to the empnames coloumn in the table. When a user logs in with his empname aka username & password, he will be able to see only his record from the table. eg.Smith is an employee, a user called smith was created. when this user is in session, and types "Select * from Employee_table" he only gets the record that belongs to him, where empname is smith. how do i do this using privileges? thanks in advance

What should i do? Should i create a column that gets date/time of the system when insertion/update happens to the table and then compare the created date/time with the time employee's specified - If so in this case i will have to create date/time column for timeIn, outToLunch, returnFromLunch and timeOut. I don't know, what do you suggest? Note: i'm concerned about tracking these 4 columns timeIn, outToLunch, returnFromLunch and timeOut
