  • Firebug shows error "_11 is undefined"

    Actually that's it. What does this error mean? I've googled on it, but found nothing. This error appears in firebug console after the page is loaded, or when i click on tabs. It does not prevent the execution of another JavaScript code, but the nature of it is mysterious for me.

  • Click behaviour - Difference in IE and FF ?!

    Hey folks, i just came to the conclusion that a project i am currently working on might have a "logical" error in functionality. Currently I'am using server technology with PHP/MySQL and JQuery. Within the page there's a normal link reference with tag <a href="contentpage?page=xxx">next step</a> The pain point now seems to be the given jquery click event on the same element. The intension was to save the (current) content of the page (- form elements) via another php script using the php session command. For any reason, IE can handle the click event of Jquery right before executing the standard html command, that reloads the current page again with the new page parameter. By using FF the behaviour is different. I assume, that FF first execute the html command and afterwards execute the javascript code which handles the click event. Therefore the resultset here is wrong respectivly empty. My question now is whether you made the same experience and how you handled / wordarrounded this problem. I'd be thankful fur any of your tips or further feedback. Maybe you also have a solution on how to rethink about the current architecture. Regards, Oliver

    I need to zoom frame content only. Here in my web page I used zoom: 0.75; height: 520px; width: 800px;.     I am doing some web development on some long forms. There are many fields for me to fill out to get through the form. Instead of typing out the same things every time (contact information, address, business information) I'm hoping there is some tool out there / combination of tools that will assist me in filling this out. Requirements: I am doing development / testing in FF, IE, and Chrome on a Win 7 system, so the tool would leverage one of those platforms. Oh yeah, one more thing: It's got to be free and lightweight, otherwise, I'd rather just type out responses to the form fields.

  • How can I see included JavaScript sources?

    I am trying to script a web page using GreaseMonkey. (I am using Firebug for help in development.) The page has a small amount of JavaScript code, but that code pulls in other JS files from the site. Are the entire collection of JS files stored somewhere on the client side (i.e. on the filesystem somewhere) so that I can view them? Or better yet, is there a way I can view them in Firebug? I am a little overwhelmed by Firebug but will be able to follow instructions. Many thanks. (My first ever question on SO!) -Todd

    I am developing a ff extension. On one menupopup, the onpopupshowing calls a javascript function. Tha JS function extracts a list of names. Now these names have to be displayed in the same popup. How can i get this? Basically i will need to pass the data (just as we use beans in java) to the browser from the JS function. The data can change everytime the popup is called.
