    I have the following tables/columns: Parent: ParentID Child: ChildID ParentID SubChild: SubChildID ChildID Date Parent has 1 to Many relationship with Child Child has 1 to Many relationship with SubChild For every Parent, I need to get the SubChild with the most recent Date value. How can I do this using SQL. I've tried using MAX(Date), but I can't seem to figure out how to join Parent and Child successfully. The ideal result set would contain all the Parents joined with all the SubChild columns of the latest record. Note: using MS SQL 2005+

  • Sub-viewController doesn't get autorotation notifications, bug?

    If I have a view (and its controller) and I override the willAnimateRotationToInterfaceOrientation method so I can respond to autorotation events everything works fine and dandy. Now if I create another viewController and add its view to the first viewController's view via: [firstViewController.view addSubview:secondViewController.view] The secondViewController's willAnimateRotationToInterfaceOrientation method isn't called.     I am hosting a server with 150 domain names (websites), each of the ssl's requere dedicated IP address. So server windows 2008, with 150 IP addressees and 150 websites. I need to have high availability solution. So thinking setting up AWS but ELB will not be a solution... and max IP's I can get per instance is 12 addresses. So what can I do to have all 150 sites hosted on one instance and be HA with instance in different availability zone.

    I have a standard html form where the user can specify a website/domain: favourite website: [ ] I expect the user to type things like: [www.google.com] [www.yahoo.com] [www.example.co.jp] I want to validate the domain/site via javascript so if a user had typed something wrong: [www...google.com] [www.-example.com] I tell them straight away.     I have a table which looks like this (simplified for the example): <table> <tr class="lvl_1"> <td> Level 1 </td> </tr> <tr class="lvl_2"> <td> Level 2 </td> </tr> <tr class="lvl_3"> <td> Level 3 </td> </tr> <tr class="lvl_1"> <td> Level 1 </td> </tr> <tr class="lvl_2"> <td> Level 2 </td> </tr> <tr class="lvl_3"> <td> Level 3 </td> </tr> The content in the rows with the lvl_3 class are children of the previous lvl_2 row, and the lvl_2 rows are children of the previous lvl_1. Had the data been a list, it would have looked something like this: Level 1 -- Level 2 ---- Level 3 Level 1 -- Level 2 ---- Level 3 I'm not looking to implement drag-and-drop sorting functionality, make it possible to rearrange the level 1 and two rows. The tricky part is that once I start moving a row, the corresponding children (and grand-children, if any) should move along with it. Is this even possible with the current markup, or do I have to rearrange the code? Thanks in advance !

If I specify old_table.value I get a not defined in field list error.

    I must be missing something simple here, but I'm having trouble retrieving data from a JSON array response. I can access objects with identifiers that start with letters, but not ones that start with numbers. For example, I can access data.item[0].specs.overview.details But I can't access data.item[0].specs.9a99.details If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

    hello, my main question is as follows: how to show only the first subchild of a ul or li upon clicking the enclosing parent. eg: <ul> Grandparent <li> Child1 <li> Grandchild11</li></li> <li> Child2 <li>GrandChild21</li><li>grandchild22</li></li> </ul> so, for example I would like something to the effect of <script> $('ul').click(function(){ $('ul').children('first li').toggle() }); $('li').click(function(){ $('li').children('first li').toggle() }); </script> meaning: when i click ul, i only see the first child node (child1 and child2 will be shown, but not the grandchildren). when i click child1 or child2 i see the respective grandchild. grandchild is not shown upon clicking grandparent, only upon clicking child1 or child2. i know i am reinventing the wheel of some pre-coded solution, but any help would be largely appreciated!

This really should be simple, I don't know why I am struggling to find something.

    I work in a small office with about 35 people and we are all on a intranet. This network is not connected to the internet. Is it possible to set up an email server, with which we could send emails to each other? (We don't need to send emails outside our network.) I cannot use a messenger service like Openfire, since the messages could be asynchronous, and we'd like to get those emails in a email client like Thunderbird. Another obstacle we have is that we do not have a domain name. Any ideas on which free (as in beer) software could be used? We have both Windows and Linux machines.

    I previous had both Web and Mail on the same server and for each of my vhosts/domains, I could visit example.com/mail or foo.com/mail which would display the Roundcube Webmail across all vhosts. E.g Alias /mail "/usr/share/apache2/roundcub/" Although now I have moved the Mail server onto a completely different server and now have a SSL for the main domain. https://mail.example.com which is now the new location of Roundcube for all vhosts/domains. Question: is it possible to redirect all alias for "/mail" from the Web server to the new URL?

    I'd like to accomplish what this (invalid I believe) regular expression tries to do: <p><a>([^(<\/a>)]+?)<\/a></p>uniquestring Essentially match anything except a closing anchor tag. Simple non-greedy doesn't help here because `uniquestring' may very well be after another distant closing anchor tag: <p><a>text I don't <tag>want</tag> to match</a></p>random data<p><a>text I do <tag>want to</tag> match</a></p>uniquestring more matches <p><a>of <tag>text I do</tag> want to match</a></p>uniquestring So I have more tag in between the anchor tags. And I'm using the presence of uniquestring to determine if I want to match the data. So a simple non-greedy ends up matching everything from the start of the data I don't want to the end of the data I do want. I know I'm edging close to the problems regular expressions (or at least my knowledge of them) aren't good at solving. I could just through the data at an HTML/XML parser, but it is just one simple(ish) search. Is there some easy way to do this that I'm just missing?

  • Possible causes for Domain server being unavailable?

    One of our servers was compromised after a user with administrative privileges accidentally loaded a virus from a USB drive on a desktop connected to the domain. The two most obvious symptoms of this were: The server is no longer responding to login attempts The root directory of the drive containing user data has been filled with randomly named empty folders. (Initially it was around a million folders, I've been slowly deleting them.) I've run several virus scans from different vendors and am fairly confident the virus has been removed but the damage is done. I'm hoping the two symptoms are related and that once the directories are gone the server will start responding again. The drive is very slow to respond. I'm deleting about 20k folders at a time. Anymore than that and windows explorer becomes unresponsive. In the event that I finish cleaning up the HD and things don't return to normal what other things can I check?

    I have a UINavigationController. On the right top i have a button on click of which i have to get a drop down table view. I created another UIViewController Class, with xib and added it as a subView to the current view. It should appear on 1st click and disappear on the 2nd click. This should happen for all click(open view and close view).   • Laptop held hostage by administrator domain and Bit locker

    I have a laptop computer that I had when I was working at an IT company. I don´t work there anymore but I could keep the computer (Lenovo) Suddenly my wireless internet didn´t work anymore showing error "insert SIM into the mobile broadband device" and month later connectiong to internet with cable got disabled I don´t know the password to sign in as an administrator on domain and whatever I try to do/install/change settings... everything needs admin rights. To surf the internet again with the computer I tried to install a new Windows but it´s seems to be protected with Bit Locker, asking for recovery key. I´ve googled and googled bunch of CMD tricks but most of the shows "system error 5 has occured" Is there anyway to get the wireless internet to work, change the admin or install new Windows? - or should I rather enjoying throwing it of the balcony or set it one fire? :)

  • Changing image domain / path in css for production?

    Currently, for things like background images, our css files have no domain specified. This works both in our development and production environments. background-image: url(/images/bg.png); For performance reasons (cookie-less domain), we'd like to switch this: background-image: url(http://staticimagedomain.com/images/bg.png); Ideally, we don't hard code those, so our development environments can still pull locally. Any thoughts on how to best achieve this?
