    I had some problems with amarok player, I couldn't get any sound from it. Anyway, I fixed it somehow, from terminal, with some packages, after a couple of reboots, now I have problem with the adobe-flashplugin. I'm trying this in terminal but: sudo apt-get install adobe-flashplugin Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: The package adobe-flashplugin needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it. I also tried the update manager, but I get something about partial upgrade but that thing also isnt working, and I get a message that I have to install it manually or I remove it completely. So, how can I remove it completely and then I will install it clean again from the beggining?

    One of the more annoying bugs in Windows XP is the tendency for the Task Manager icon to not show up in the tray (aka the notification area). Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, and it's not consistent enough to have an obvious cause. Looking on Google turns up a bunch of forums that have the same problem but no working solution. Why does the task manager icon sometimes not show up? How can I repair it when this happens (how can make it show up when it's missing)? How can I prevent it from not working in the first place, so that I don't have to worry about repairing it after the fact?

    I have a broken package... So far nothing horrible. The problem is that it is Plymouth, and it seems that if I remove it, I will remove half of the packages of my system... So here is my question: if I actually remove, or even purge plymouth; will I at least have a terminal left after it to reinstall it? Or am I definitely doomed?     I would like to build unity-lens-music on my newly-upgraded Ubuntu 12.10 machine. I followed these instructions from the unity website to get the code. The README was empty but I guessed that ./autogen.sh would be a sensible place to start.     I have an Order model and order_event model. Each order_event has a foreignkey to order. so from an order instance i can get: myorder.order_event_set. I want to get a list of all orders but i want them to be sorted by the date of the last event. A statement like this works to sort by the latest event date: queryset = Order.objects.all().annotate(latest_event_date=Max('order_event__event_datetime')).order_by('latest_event_date') However, what I really need is a list of all orders sorted by latest date of A SUBSET OF EVENTS. For example my events are categorized into "scheduling", "processing", etc. So I should be able to get a list of all orders sorted by the latest scheduling event. This django doc (https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/topics/db/aggregation/#filter-and-exclude) shows how I can get the latest schedule event using a filter but this excludes orders without a scheduling event. I thought I could combine the filtered queryset with a queryset that includes back those orders that are missing a scheduling event...but I'm not quite sure how to do this. I saw answers related to using python list but it would be much more useful to have a proper django queryset (ie for a view with pagination, etc.)

  • Is this the correct way of speaking to a "Content Manager" Class?

    I am creating a silverlight site. I am currently breaking out my ideas into pieces of functionality. One of the idea's I have is the concept of a content manager. This is essentially a UI control with 4 regions. Top, Bottom, Right & Left. I also have a collection of objects that are considered "Menu Items". These are controls that function as a way to navigate around, similar to links. The idea I have is to implement an IMenuItem interface. Among the standard pieces of information (Text, PageReference, etc) I was also going to hold a reference to the content manager. My idea behind this thinking is that I can pass the PageReference to a property on the ContentManager and then call a method which knows how to update the content manager accordingly. Is this the best way of implementing this or is their some sort of pattern for it?

    Hello. Using an Android Dev Phone 2, I'm using the GsmCellLocation.getCid() method to get the Cell ID on my network. When I run the command and get all the CellIDs for the NeighboringCellInfo I get this values: 597195726 597185722 597195718 597110191 597101100 597175726 I'm running this using the SDK 1.6. The problem is that when I run the Engineering Mode on a GSM modem that I have, running a command to obtain the Neighboring Cell IDs, I get this values: 34253 0 34223 34262 34181 0 What is the difference here? In what format is Android delivering the Cell IDs? I tried doing a "cell.getCid() & 0xffff" but now I'm getting the values: 21690 31686 37068 11695 11694 31694 Which are still different from the one that the GSM Modem is delivering with the Engineering Mode. Obviously I tried this on at the same time, same location. I'm trying to get the same Cell IDs that the external GSM modem I using is delivering Please provide any help Thanks in advance!

  • How do I generate coverage xml report for a single package?

    I'm using nose and coverage to generate coverage reports. I only have one package right now, ae, so I specify to only cover that: nosetests -w tests/unit --with-xunit --with-coverage --cover-package=ae And here are the results, which look good: Name Stmts Exec Cover Missing ---------------------------------------------- ae 1 1 100% ae.util 253 224 88% 39, 63-65, 284, 287, 362, 406 ---------------------------------------------- TOTAL 263 234 88% ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ran 68 tests in 5.292s However when I run coverage xml, coverage pulls in more packages than necessary, including python email and logging packages which have nothing to do with my code. If I run coverage xml ae, I get this error: No source for code: '/home/wraith/dev/projects/trimurti/src/ae': [Errno 21] Is a directory: '/home/wraith/dev/projects/trimurti/src/ae' Is there a way to generate the XML for just the ae package?

    Respected sir/madam, I want to add multiple jpanels to jpanel.So i added a root panel to jscrollpane.and then added all individual jpanels to this root panel.I made jscrollpane's scrolling policy as needed.i.e HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR_AS_NEEDED,VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR_AS_NEEDED. But the problem is all individual panels are not shown inside root panel. Code: JScrollPane scPanel=new JScrollPane(); JPanel rootPanel=new JPanel(); rootPanel.setLayout(new FlowLayout()); JPanel indPanel = new JPanel(); rootPanel.add(indPanel); JPanel indPanel2 = new JPanel(); rootPanel.add(indPanel2); //.....like this added indPanals to rootPanel. scPanel.setViewPortView(rootPanel); //scPanel.setHorizontalScrollPolicy(HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR_AS_NEEDED); And one more thing is, as i scroll the scrollbar the panels are going out of jscrollpane area.     Hi folks, I have Android development eclipse setup on Mac OS X. I recently did Android SDK upgrade from 1.5 to available versions such as 1.6, 2.0.1 and 2.1 and docs. After did upgrade, automatically restarted my Macbook and installed all new versions. After this, when i try to launch "Windows-Android SDK and AVD Manager", it doesn't launch at all. What might be the reason? Does anyone has the solution? The reason why i'm trying to launch Android SDK and AVD Manager is, i need to add new Android virtual device(avd) target for 2.0.1 and 2.1 versions, for that i'm trying to launch Android SDK and AVD Manager.   • NuGet - managing and removing mutil version packages in single solution

    SCENARIO One VS solution with n projects. Project A references package Y v1, Project B references package Y v2. It is now not possible to update all references to package Y for all projects in the solution using the NuGet package manage dialog at the solution level, it is only possible to do this when all projects reference the same version of package Y. Not a big deal for only two projects, but I'm dealing with lots of projects that through poor package management are referencing many package versions when they should all reference the same version. Before I spend the afternoon writing a console app. to auto update all package.config files for a solution so that each referenced package is only referenced via it's latest version (latest referenced, not the very latest, with exceptions/caveats etc)....is there a tool/method for doing this already? Or some other approach I am unaware of?

  • A question about writing a background/automatic/silent downloader/installer for an app in C#.

    Background: I have a main application that needs to be able to go to the web and download DLL files associated with it (ones that we write, located on our server). It really needs to be able to download these DLL files to the application folder in "C:\Program Files\". In the past I have used System.Net.WebClient to download whatever files I wanted from the web. The Issue I have had a lot of trouble downloading data in the past and saving to files on a user's hard drive. I get many reports of users saying that this does not work and it is generally because of user rights issues in the program. In the cases where it was an issue with program user rights every user could go to the exact file location on the web, download it, and then save it to the right place manually. I want this to work like all the other programs I have seen download/install in this fassion (i.e. Firefox Pluign Updates, Flash Player, JAVA, Adobe Reader, etc). All of these work without a hitch. The Question Is there some code I need to use to give my downloader program special rights to the Program Files folder? Can I even do this? Is there a better class or library that I should use? Is there a different approach to downloading files I should take, such as using threads or something else to download data? Any help here is appreciated. I want to try to stay away from third-party apps/libraries if at all possible, other than Microsoft of course, due to licensing issues, but still send any suggestions my way. Again, other programs seem to have the rights issues and download capability figured out. I want this same capability.

    Can anybody please tell me the registry setting(s) that are affected in Windows Mobile 6.1 when a user selects Start - Settings - Connections - Wi-Fi and then changes the value of the "My network card connects to" drop down list on the "Network Adapters" tab? I have a device that seems to default this to "The Internet" when in fact the Wi-Fi connects to the corporate network and I would like to be able to change this programatically rather than expecting 250+ users to have to do it manually every time they reboot their devices.   • ghc can't find my cabal installed packages

    I've installed ghc 6.12.3, and then the Haskell Platform. I'm trying to compile a test program: $ ghc test.hs test.hs:3:0: Failed to load interface for `Bindings': Use -v to see a list of the files searched for. so, naturally, I do cabal install Bindings Which works fine, and places the package in ~/.cabal/lib/bindings-0.1.2 The problem is, that when I go to compile again with ghc, it still doesn't find the package I've installed with cabal. compiling in verbose mode gives: ghc -v test.hs Using binary package database: /home/ludflu/ghc/lib/ghc-6.12.3/package.conf.d/package.cache Using binary package database: /home/ludflu/.ghc/x86_64-linux 6.12.3/package.conf.d/package.cache As suggested by another stackoverflow user, I tried: ghc-pkg describe rts > rts.pkg vi rts.pkg # add the /home/ludflu/.cabal/lib to `library-dirs` field ghc-pkg update rts.pkg But to no avail. How to I add the .cabal to the list of package directories to search? Thank you!

  • Post Loading ads from Google Admanager

    I have changed code around to basically load an add the bottom of the page in a hidden div and attached an onload event handler that called document.getElementById(xxx).appendChild() to take the hidden ad and move it into the right spot in my page. This works GREAT.. however when the ad is a text ad it AFTER i move the ad there is nothing in the rendered Iframe. I did tests to see what it looks like before i move it and sure enough the text links load in the IFRAME but the second i do the appendChild call to move the div that contains the ad i seem to loose the contents of the Iframe.   • R: How to update a package and keep it from reverting to the original?

    I want to upgrade the package ggplot2: library(ggplot2) packageDescription("ggplot2")["Version"] > 0.8.3 But the current version is 0.8.7. I tried update.packages(), which seemed to work OK. But it still returned older version 0.8.3. So I downloaded and installed the package source from Cran, which says 0.8.7 in the download page. I then install it via the GUI menu in R. It returns ** building package indices ... * DONE (ggplot2) I then run: packageDescription("ggplot2")["Version"] > 0.8.3 And still I have the older version! I don't know why this is not working, what's more I had already come across this problem before and solved it (I can't remember exactly what) but now it has gone back to the older version! What's the easiest way to keep packages like this updated automatically and not have them refer back to older packages?
