• Is it possible with Google searches to ban any and all results from a domain?

  Is it possible to configure Google somehow to permanently ban search results from domains that I know 100% are never, ever going to make me happy? Something cookie/session based maybe? E.g.: I want to ban (permanently, forever and always) results from experts-exchange.com. Every time I click results that take me to their page I just want to scream.

All of them close and reopen Finder windows, which is quite annoying. On the other hand, for Open File dialog one can easily toggle hidden files by pressing Command+Shift+Period. Is it possible to avoid relaunching Finder? At least theoretically?

What format and file system are used to store the videos on the hard drive?   My goal is to instead of buying 4 separate basic PCs (plus the obvious peripherals), buy just one fast PC and the peripherals. I'm wondering if I can use a more powerful computer, say, one with core i7 and plenty of RAM, with 2 video cards (total of 4 monitor outputs) to run 4 or more virtual machines (WinXPs) so instead of having 4 individual machines, I'll be having just one.   We have an EC2 instance (Ubuntu) that has a few java-based applications and lately we're getting hit with high CPU utilization spikes that trigger one of our Cloudwatch alarms. By the time we get into the server to look at the cpu utilization, things have calmed down. What we'd love to see in one of the alarm emails is a list of running processes and their cpu utilization(%) at the time of the alarm. Is this even possible?

  I have an rpm for which I need to change the preinstal scriptlet for testing. However, I do not have the SRPM from which is was built. Is it possible to change the scriptlet and/or rebuild the rpm without having the SRPM? If so, how? I've tried using Midnight Commander (mc) to open the rpm as a directory structure and edit the contents, but even with 444 permissions, it won't let me save any changes.
