    Firstly, I know that this question has been asked a million times, and I have read everything I can find and still cannot fix the problem. i am encountering this issue when ssh'ing in from my mac to my Ubuntu server on a fresh install of Ubuntu (I reinstalled because of this issue). I have SSH portmapped to 7070 because my ISP is blocking 22. On the client: bash: ssh -p 7070 -v [email protected] debug1: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh_config debug1: Connecting to address.org port 7070. debug1: Connection established. debug1: identity file /home/me/.ssh/identity type -1 debug1: identity file /home/me/.ssh/id_rsa type 1 debug1: identity file /home/me/.ssh/id_dsa type -1 ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host Here's what I have done to try to resolve the issue: Made sure my maxstartups is ok: bash: grep MaxStartups /etc/ssh/sshd_config #MaxStartups 10:30:60 Made sure hosts.deny is clear of denials. Made sure hosts.allow has my client IP. Clear out known_hosts on client Changed ownership of /var/run to root Made sure etc/run/ssh is Made sure /var/empty exists Reinstall openssh-server Reinstall ubuntu When I run telnet localhost, I get this: telnet localhost Trying ::1... Trying 127.0.0.1... telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused When I run /usr/sbin/sshd -t Could not load host key: /etc/ssh/ssh_host_rsa_key Could not load host key: /etc/ssh/ssh_host_dsa_key When I regenerate the keys with ssh-keygen -t rsa -f /etc/ssh/ssh_host_rsa_key ssh-keygen -t dsa -f /etc/ssh/ssh_host_dsa_key I get the same error. I am pretty sure this is the issue. Can anyone help?

    I have a function inside of a Helper in Magento that returns whether or not a customer attribute equals one. Here is my Helper class class Nie_Nie_Helper_Data extends Mage_Core_Helper_Abstract { public function isNieAdmin() { if(Mage::getSingleton('customer/session')->getCustomer()->getNieAdmin() == 1) { return true; } else { return false; } } } Now when I call this function from a class that extends Mage_Core_Block_Template, everything seems to work fine. However when I try to use this inside one of my controllers, it does not work. In fact when I do Mage::getSingleton('customer/session')-getCustomer()-debug() the only variable that is returned is the website_id. Does anyone know what I have to do in order to get this to work?   • NHibernate filters don't work with Session.Get

    I'm trying to implement a Soft-deletable repository. Usually this can be easily done with a Delete Event listener. To filter out the deleted entities, I can add a Where attribute to my class mapping. However, I also need to implement two more methods in the repository for this entity: Restore and Purge. Restore will "undelete" entities and Purge will hard-delete them. This means I can't use Where attribute (since it block out soft-deleted entities to any access) I tried using filters instead. I can create a filter and enable or disable it within session to achieve the same result. But the problem is filters don't have any effect on Session.Get method (they only affect ICriteria based access). Any ideas as to how solve this problem? Thanks

    greetings all um using spring security 3.0.2,all the application pages are secured to see them you must be authenticated um using https protocol i have a strange problem that after successful login and got to the requested page when try to open any link to other pages in the application the session is invalidated or lost or what happened i don't know and the user become anonymous,and redirected to the login page and i got this from debugging: No HttpSession currently exists No SecurityContext was available from the HttpSession: null. A new one will be created. after reviewing the coe many times,nothing in the code is invalidating the session,any ideas why something like this might happen?

    Hi I have seen a few posts regarding Session and using target blank to open a new page. But I still don´t get it. Im working with an application which opens from a link on an Intranet site. I guess it uses target blank to get it in a new window. (I don´t have the source). If both windows are closed (My application and the Intranet site) it seems like the Session is destroyed. I need that to happen when my application is closed. (ie, still leaving the Intranet site open). If I use the site in my testenvironment without opening it from a page with target blank, it seems like I get the expected behaviour. Web.config has: pages enableSessionState="true" Thanks

    HI all, I am working with asp.net with c#.net Here i am using session state to pass the value from one page to another. i have two pages, in first page i am calculating the value and passing the value to second page using session and in second page i am displaying the message through the value. I am using these two pages for facebook application. I uploaded my two pages then i am checking with facebook by opening through internet explorer and its giving below error. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.   • VPN - local and remote networks IP collision

    I have created a VPN connection in Windows using the New Network Connection wizard that comes with Windows. It works without problems in most places, but there is one concrete place where, despite the connection to the remote public IP works fine, it is not able to validate the login/password and establish the VPN connection. In this place, the network is 10.0.0.x (the same I use in other places where I am able to connect). The remote network is 192.168.x.x, so I suspect there is some kind of IP collision, because before connecting, a traceroute to i.e. 192.168.0.40 does not fail. 1 4 ms 1 ms 1 ms LINKSYS [10.0.0.1] 2 5 ms 1 ms 1 ms 172.26.27.1 3 4 ms 5 ms 3 ms 192.168.1.100 ... (more) I can't modify the local network further than the first router (10.0.0.1). That is the only different I've found so far. Any idea about how to solve it? Thank you.

    Small business server 2011 standard - applications randomly closing for remote desktop users I have an issue where when you are connected through remote desktop (doesn't matter whether you have administrative rights or not). Also to elaborate it is happening as frequently as every minute.

    I have a project that is Java EE 5 running on Glassfish. The IDE is Netbeans 6.7.1. We periodically have a very annoying problem with new session facades not being located via InitialContext: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: No object bound to name java:comp/env/GlobalConfigEntityFacadeLocal In my class (within the same EJB container), I can use the other session facades just fine. This sort of problem happens periodically, and a mixture of clean&build and deleting the build-impl.xml files from nbproject sometimes resolve this.     Hi All, I have been reading around the Hibernate core and I am still exploring some of its capability. It was mention in the docs that the SessionFactory is the heavyweight component of Hibernate thus it should be setup only once in a web application and in singleton. Each Session factory should pertain to one JDBC connection. Does anybody knows how to properly setup the session factory in tomcat web applications? Any links or tutorials would be better. Should I set it up as a contextlistener class also? Thanks.

  • Cisco RV042 VPN with Dynamic IPs - Remote Gateway Not Resolving

    I have an existing network setup that I inherited from my predecessor. Currently there are two sites, each with a Linksys RV042 VPN router running the 1.3.12.19-tm firmware. They are currently set up with a Gateway to Gateway VPN. One site has a static IP, the other has a Dynamic IP with a hostname set up on no-ip.com. My company is looking to set up another site so I purchased another RV042 only this one was Cisco branded and it is running the latest firmware. I had assumed that I would be able to configure a vpn from our main office (the dynamic ip) to the new site with this router quite easily. However when I set up a new VPN tunnel on either device, it stays on Waiting for Connection and the Remote Gateway shows an ip address of 0.0.0.0 rather than the remote ip address. The other VPN tunnel is still working and I don't see any obvious misconfiguration on the new router. It seems that the router is not resolving the Dynamic DNS address and therefore not giving me the option to connect the VPN. Does a Gateway to Gateway VPN work with Dynamic IP addresses on each end? Are the firmware versions not compatible? Is there something I've missed?

    I use Git Shell in Windows 7, working in a branch named Save-Rotation. Then I used git push origin Save-Rotation to commit the changes to remote. The result is posted at the end. It seems good. But when I went to my repository in GitHub site, which is https://github.com/chiapas/sumatrapdf/tree/Save-Rotation I can't see any change in the repository tree or commit tree. How can I know if the commit (to remote) is successful, and why the repository page is not updated? I can store the chat in the database but my service runs on a free webhost which is limited, only 4 mysql connections allowed at a time which is almost nothing. I try to touch my database as least times as possible.

    I have a php site optimized for iphone, its currently running inside of an iframe in a uiwebview objective c wrapper. Everything currently works except for the sessions inside of the iframe, Im assuming this is due to the cross domain issue with iframes and sessions? my solution is to save the sessions to the db. Is this the best solution? Will this even solve my problem? should I use memcache instead? are there any good tutorials for doing this? I havent been able to find an easy to implement solution for saving the session data, im a bit confused by the bootstrap.php and I keep getting this error when I try to add session saving: 'no adapter found for Zend_Session_SaveHandler_DbTable' any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you

    Hi, I'm using TortoiseSVN to keep revisions of my code. When I commit changes, I take note of what files have changed and upload them to my server using FTP. Here's my workflow: Edit files on local computer (eg. files in C:\Users\Me\web) Commit changes to local repository using rightclick- TortoiseSVN- SVN Commit. Take the files, open FileZilla (FTP client) and upload the files to a remote server. I was wondering if there was a way in which I could omit step 3 from my workflow. Basically I would like the changed files to be automatically uploaded to the remote server when I commit a version to the repository. Information about my computer environment: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with TortoiseSVN x64 Notepad++ text editor Files edited are PHP, CSS, JS, HTML, etc. Server is running Linux with PHP 5.2 and MySQL. FileZilla is used to upload files. I can connect to the server via SSH if that is needed. Thank you in advance.

    I have an IHttpModule that implements IRequiresSessionState. The session state is at "on" on the page directive and I also added it to the web.config. In the method "OnBeginRequest" in the IHttpModule, I make a Server.Transfer but I get the error : Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. When I access the page directly or with a Response.Redirect, there is no error. Any idea? Update : The error occur in a page extending System.Web.UI.Page in the method InitializeCulture() which is an override.
