  • Frustrated With Wpf DataGrid

    Hello Experts, I have a tabcontrol and I place datagrid inside a tabcontrol... But I could not focus that Datagrid at the load event ... Focus means I couldn't navigate through keyboard into it... I'm getting this problem only inside of the tab control otherwise it works fine...my sample project link as follows.. http://cid-0255f3152326d2b1.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/WPF%20Datagrid%20Problem?uc=1&nl=1 (1) Please remember note that focus means I couldn't navigate a datagrid through keyboard (2) It should be in load event......Because it works fine in other events...     To draw a circle on map I have a center GLatLng (A) and a radius (r) in meters. Here's a diagram: ----------- --/ \-- -/ \- / \ / \ / r \ | *-------------* \ A / B \ / \ / -\ /- --\ /-- ----------- How to calculate the GLatLng at position B? Assuming that r is parallel to the equator. Getting the radius when A and B is given is trivial using the GLatLng.distanceFrom() method - but doing it the other way around not so. Seems that I need to do some heavier math.

    Hello all, I created a simple custom control that only inherits from the Literal control, and doesn't have any extensions yet, code is empty. Namespace: CustomControls Class name: Literal : System.Web.UI.WebControls.Literal Next thing I do is registering this control in the aspx page as following: <%@ Register TagPrefix="web" Namespace="CustomControls" % (I read in few tutorials that this is one of the ways to register it, besides web.config etc.) After all, no intellisence for me, and worse- I get a parse error 'unknown server tag: web' when I try to run the page with the control in it. I used 'create new project' and not new website, in case this info is needed. What could be my problem? Thanks in advance.

  • Easy way to use Images in WPF

    Hi All I've only just started using WPF. (I'm a WinForms guy), and from what I can see, trying to simply drag an image onto the Window is a huge PAIN. There seems to be no way where you can just select an option to tell it what picture to put indide the image control. I've seen so many sites within the last 10 minutes with atleast 10lines of code just to insert animage into a window. Is there an easier way?

  • How to force a page refresh or reload in jQuery?

    The code below displays a google map and search results when you enter an address and hit the submit button. I've been playing with it to try and force the page to completely refresh or reload once you hit the submit button. But I can't get it to work right. It loads the results "in page," but I'd like the page to completely refresh when the results load, like when you hit the back button on your browser. Hope that makes sense. I think the answer lies in this line of code but I don't know jquery very well.   • Help creating a dll for a custom control

    I'm going to ask a newbie question here. I need to use a control I found online in my code, but it was written in the wrong language. It is in C# and I am using VB.net for work. I have all of the code for the control which works beautifully in C#, but I had issues with it not working very well in VB. The source code and a demo project are available here, but I am not sure exactly which files I should use to build the dll for VB. It seems a lot to ask, but would someone mind taking a look and pointing me in the right direction? Cheers

    I have a composite server control that does quiet a number of things; one of which is to display a ModalPopup OnClick of a dynamically generated HtmlAnchor control. I need to create this ModalPopupExtender control dynamically in my server control and trigger it from within. I have been able to create it and trigger it from a button created at design time but not at runtime. This is as a result of the ID assign to the link is always not found by the ModalPopupExtender control. I have tried assigning a static ID but no success. Can anyone help?

    Hi, How to avoid displaying black rectangles over the Custom marker. Actually Custom markers changed to a black image rectangle after clicking the marker few times on Google Map. I am using API V2. I am using Nokia N97 to display my google map with Custom markers. I am not sure, but I guess because of wi-fi connectivity, some times the connection lost, so at that moment when I click the Markers, they turned to black image rectangles.     Yes this problem is common and I have seen numerous solution on this site but none of them were helpful. I know that re-sizing will fix the problem. Not a jQuery expert and I don't know how to re-size the map after the page has been loaded and Headline 3 is active. I have created a JFiddle example.
