  • Problem with my unicorn

    I'd love to get some help with my unicorn, the damned thing just won't respond to my commands. It's a standard white unicorn with with a white mane. I've tried giving it hay, carrots and sugar cubes, but it's still refusing to do what I ask. I've read on other sites that I may need to reshoe her, but I'd rather not if I don't have to. I would love to hear the success stories from other people who have managed to install Mac OS X successfully on other brands and models of netbooks. "Exceptionally friendly" here is defined as having, at minimum, fully functioning wireless, sound and graphics when installed with an unmodified version of OS X Leopard.

  • Flash video has become jittery in Karmic

    When I first installed Karmic, I must have installed a Flash player or else it came with Karmic. It worked fine and I have been running the Ubuntu updates whenever requested by the OS. However, now my Flash video is extremely jittery and the whole computer kinds of slows down whenever I try to play a Flash video file. I have no idea what type of Flash player is running or what is the best one to use. Would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks.

    I have a macbook pro but my Built-in stereo speakers don't work and it comes a red light from Headphone out/optical digital audio out port. my Built-in stereo speakers aren't dead because at first that OS runs it comes a sound from them but as soon as the macbook pro is ready when i play music they don't work and In the SOUND in system preferences the name of device for sound output is Digital Out. Is the problem from hardware or software. Is there any solution?

I don't do a lot of .emacs configuration, and I just can't get the variables out of emacsWiki to play right. Anybody mind sharing how they do it? I would prefer to have the saves placed in /tmp/emacs/{username}/{autosaves | backups} BONUS, configuration to do the same for TRAMP

  • Per directory ignore in TextMate

    I love idea of TextMate that any directory opened in it is already a project. But sometimes I it would be good to ignore files for certain dir and I don't like idea of creating project file in that dir or remembering how I named project file in some special folder like ~/.tmproject. Is there some sort of plugin or something like this which will allow me to ignore files in dir? Perfect solution would be reading .gitignore file.

  • Share Keyboard/Mouse between PC (windows?) and Android

    Has anyone come across software that can do this successfully/reliably? I would like to set up my Nexus 7 tablet on a stand under my monitor and use it with the mouse/KB hooked up to my desktop so I can continue to use it while using my desktop without having to pick it up. I was able to find one application which claims to do this (PC Loves Android), but reviews on the Google Play store do not seem to favor it.

Last time I built a computer I skimped on the power supply and it bit me big time later on. How can i connect a telephone line into the server? so we can ring in and get our emails via phone (we have a spare direct line) I'm going to guess it's not as easy as sticking a 56k modem into the server?   • iTunes not recognizing music from NAS

    At the current moment I have a SONOS system running through my house. The SONOS takes music directly from a NAS. I want to be able to get iTunes to be able to play music from the NAS without copying them to my local drive. At the moment, the iTunes has been able to recognise the NAS, but it is reading the music from a file within the NAS called Qmultimedia. All of my music is inside a "music" folder that SONOS is using.

This product does not work under Windows 7 64-bit because of driver issues and it seems to be an orphan product. My question is: Does a similar product exist that works under Windows 7 64-bit???
