  • Changing Admin Site URL (actually port) - how?

    - by TomTom
    I have a new install of the band new SharePoint 2010. I use host header identified site collections for everything. By default the admin site is on a random port. I would like to move the admin site to port 80, for the server name. As all sites have coded names (for example "intranet", "projects") this would allow administration via the server name - which is easier as external access does not have to remember the port number. How do I do this? I already changed the default URL, but the site (application) is still wrongly mapped. I dont find anything to change the IIS settings in the admin site. I possibly just miss it - so can anyone point me in the right direction?

  • IIS: redirect everything to another URL, except for one Directory

    - by DrStalker
    I have an IIS server (IIS 6, Win 2003) that hosts the site http://www.foo.com. I want any request to http://foo.com (no matter what path/filename is used) to redirect to http://www.bar.org/AwesomePage.html UNLESS the request is for http://www.foo.com/specialdir, in which case the HTML files in the local directory specialdir should be used. The problem I have is once the redirect is set it also affects /specialdir - even if I right click on that directory and select "content should come from ... local directory" that change does not take effect, and the directory still shows as redirecting to http://www.bar.org/AwesomePage.html. The same thing happens if I try to set individual files to load from the local system instead of redirecting - IIS gives no error, but the change does not take effect and the files still show as being redirected. How can I set specialdir to override the redirection to the new URL?

  • mod_rewrite hide subdirectory in return url part2

    - by user64790
    Hi I am having an issue trying to get my mod_rewrite configuration correctly i have a site: 0.0.0.0/oldname/directories/index.php I would like to rename "oldname" to "newname" resulting in: 0.0.0.0/newname/directories/index.php etc.. So when a user navigates to 0.0.0.0 my site will automatically send them to 0.0.0.0/oldname/index.php I'm not planning on moving my content marketing have asked me to rename the site folder I would like to mask the request of 0.0.0.0/oldname/index.php to 0.0.0.0/newname/index.php Also if a user navigates from index.php to an link of say /oldname/project1/index.Php the final browsers returned URL will be /newname/project1.php without having to move or edit site links. I also understand my hyperlinks will refer to /oldname but this is acceptable any help would be highly appreciated. Regards

  • Rewrite the Base URL with mod_rewrite

    - by rotespferd
    My Domain example.com points to the directory public_html. In the directory public_html/php is my index.php file. Now I want that the URL example.com points to *public_html/php/index.php*. I must do this with mod_rewrite because I have no access to the httpd.conf to do something wth Alias oder DocumentBase. In the directory public_html is my .htacces filewith the following content: RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} exaple.com$ RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /php/index.php [L,QSA] This do half of the job, because when I enter something like example.com/s in my browser it points to *public_html/php/index.php* as I want it to do. But when I just enter example.com it points to *public_html*. What can I do to fix this?

  • Can Camel Jetty proxy URL share the webapplication context

    - by user1750353
    I am struggling with Camel Jetty Proxy Routes. At times, the routes exhibits inconsistent behavior. My Proxy app deployed with context root "Proxy", however, if give that as the context path for my proxy URL I get service not found error. If change the Proxy to an arbitrary context such as "Dummy" then the route works. Is that how camel jetty component works? From Path: jetty:http://0.0.0.0:6080/Proxy/PurchaseOrder/?matchOnUriPrefix=true&disableStreamCache=true&traceEnabled=true To Path: jetty:http://localhost:7001/Provider/PurchaseOrder/?bridgeEndpoint=true&throwExceptionOnFailure=false Another issue i noticed with jetty is If deploy both Proxy and Provider on the same app container(same listening port), then the route completely stops working saying "Provider/PurchaseOrder/" service not found. The only way the routes work is, both routes have to run different ports and the from route shouldn't share the webcontext path. I have requirement that if required I should be a able run both Proxy and Provider on the same container. Any help appreciated. Thanks,

  • Hide the ports in the url of a tomcat application

    - by S.M.09
    I have setup tomcat 6 on a server with several different instances which run on different ports For Eg: http://10.XXX.XXX.XXX:8080/myAPP1 http://10.XXX.XXX.XXX:8088/myAPP2 http://10.XXX.XXX.XXX:8082/myAPP3 and so on... These urls are available two the users using these and other applications Now I want to hide the ports on which each of the applications are running... So that the user could see only something like this http://10.XXX.XXX.XXX/myAPP1 http://10.XXX.XXX.XXX/myAPP2 http://10.XXX.XXX.XXX/myAPP3 What is needed to be done for this I have achieved this for one url (i.e. one port) using the firewall rules and redirect the request on HTTP 80 port to the port that tomcat is listening.. But I want such patter to appear for all the urls... How can I go about this? Specs HOST M/C : 64 bit OS: Linux Redhat Tomcat : 6.0

  • Connecting via url to a server that is on the same network as me

    - by Axehead
    Good day, I'm having problems with the ftp server I've just set up. I've already managed to configure my modem and wireless router to open up port 21 and setup ftp in my server. But It seems that when I try to connect to it when I'm in the same network as the server via URL, (ftp://mydomain.com) it redirects me to the modem's web interface. But then when I try to connect to it outside the network using a different internet connection. It succeeds. It also succeeds when I'm in the same network and I go to ftp://192.168.., the server's local IP. Am I supposed to adjust something in the modem or router? Or is this a different problem altogether? BTW I'm using Windows Server 2008 r2 as my server's OS and using IIS for ftp.

  • Deny IIS6 web request based on URL parameters?

    - by user21146
    I've got a legacy app running a third-party ecommerce system under IIS6. Some spammers recently discovered a bad security vulnerability in one of the store's forms, which are allowing them to send arbitrary emails from our system. Unfortunately, this store "feature" is built into the default.aspx page's code-behind and I have no way to disable it without shutting down the store. How can I filter out URL request with a given querystring parameter? ie, I want to filter out requests to: http://www.mysite.com/store/?id=SendSpam based on the "SendSpam" string.

  • How to use Wordpress' http.php in external projects?

    I am trying to parse data from a pipe-delimited text file hosted on another server which in turn will be inserted in a database. My host (1and1) disabled allow_url_fopen in php.ini I guess. Error message : Warning: fopen() [function.fopen]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in Code : <? // make sure curl is installed if (function_exists('curl_init')) { // initialize a new curl resource $ch = curl_init(); // set the url to fetch curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, 'http://abc.com/data/output.txt'); // don't give me the headers just the content curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HEADER, 0); // return the value instead of printing the response to browser curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); // use a user agent to mimic a browser curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, 'Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0'); $content = curl_exec($ch); // remember to always close the session and free all resources curl_close($ch); } else { // curl library is not installed so we better use something else } //$contents = fread ($fd,filesize ($filename)); //fclose ($fd); $delimiter = "|"; $splitcontents = explode($delimiter, $contents); $counter = ""; ?> <font color="blue" face="arial" size="4">Complete File Contents</font> <hr> <? echo $contents; ?> <br><br> <font color="blue" face="arial" size="4">Split File Contents</font> <hr> <? foreach ( $splitcontents as $color ) { $counter = $counter+1; echo "<b>Split $counter: </b> $colorn<br>"; } ?> Wordpress has this cool http.php file. Is there a better way of doing it? If not, how do I use http.php for this task? Thank you guys..

  • How can I parse a namespace using the SAX parser?

    - by Silvestri
    Hello, Using a twitter search URL ie. http://search.twitter.com/search.rss?q=android returns CSS that has an item that looks like: <item> <title>@UberTwiter still waiting for @ubertwitter android app!!!</title> <link>http://twitter.com/meals69/statuses/21158076391</link> <description>still waiting for an app!!!</description> <pubDate>Sat, 14 Aug 2010 15:33:44 +0000</pubDate> <guid>http://twitter.com/meals69/statuses/21158076391</guid> <author>Some Twitter User</author> <media:content type="image/jpg" height="48" width="48" url="http://a1.twimg.com/profile_images/756343289/me2_normal.jpg"/> <google:image_link>http://a1.twimg.com/profile_images/756343289/me2_normal.jpg</google:image_link> <twitter:metadata> <twitter:result_type>recent</twitter:result_type> </twitter:metadata> </item> Pretty simple. My code parses out everything (title, link, description, pubDate, etc.) without any problems. However, I'm getting null on: <google:image_link> I'm using Java to parse the RSS feed. Do I have to handle compound localnames differently than I would a more simple localname? This is the bit of code that parses out Link, Description, pubDate, etc: @Override public void endElement(String uri, String localName, String name) throws SAXException { super.endElement(uri, localName, name); if (this.currentMessage != null){ if (localName.equalsIgnoreCase(TITLE)){ currentMessage.setTitle(builder.toString()); } else if (localName.equalsIgnoreCase(LINK)){ currentMessage.setLink(builder.toString()); } else if (localName.equalsIgnoreCase(DESCRIPTION)){ currentMessage.setDescription(builder.toString()); } else if (localName.equalsIgnoreCase(PUB_DATE)){ currentMessage.setDate(builder.toString()); } else if (localName.equalsIgnoreCase(GUID)){ currentMessage.setGuid(builder.toString()); } else if (uri.equalsIgnoreCase(AVATAR)){ currentMessage.setAvatar(builder.toString()); } else if (localName.equalsIgnoreCase(ITEM)){ messages.add(currentMessage); } builder.setLength(0); } } startDocument looks like: @Override public void startDocument() throws SAXException { super.startDocument(); messages = new ArrayList<Message>(); builder = new StringBuilder(); } startElement looks like: @Override public void startElement(String uri, String localName, String name, Attributes attributes) throws SAXException { super.startElement(uri, localName, name, attributes); if (localName.equalsIgnoreCase(ITEM)){ this.currentMessage = new Message(); } } Tony

  • How to parse nagios status.dat file?

    I'd like to parse status.dat file for nagios3 and output as xml with a python script. The xml part is the easy one but how do I go about parsing the file? Use multi line regex? My json object doesn't seem get parsed.... here is my function function Iteratejsondata(HfJsonValue) { var jsonObj = eval('(' + HfJsonValue + ')'); for (var i = 0, len = HfJsonValue.length; i < len; ++i) { var employee = HfJsonValue[i]; document.write(employee.Emp_Name); } } employee.Emp_Name is undefined but when i give document.write(employee); i get this {"Table" : [{"Emp_Id" : "3","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Jerome","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Supervisior","Desig_Description" : "Supervisior of the Construction","SalaryBasis" : "Monthly","FixedSalary" : "25000.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "4","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Mohan","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Acc ","Desig_Description" : "Accountant","SalaryBasis" : "Monthly","FixedSalary" : "200.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "5","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Murugan","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Mason","Desig_Description" : "Mason","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "150.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "6","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Ram","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Mason","Desig_Description" : "Mason","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "120.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "7","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Raja","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Mason","Desig_Description" : "Mason","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "135.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "8","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Raja kumar","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Mason Helper","Desig_Description" : "Mason Helper","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "105.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "9","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Lakshmi","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Mason Helper","Desig_Description" : "Mason Helper","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "100.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "10","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Palani","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Carpenter","Desig_Description" : "Carpenter","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "200.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "11","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Annamalai","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Carpenter","Desig_Description" : "Carpenter","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "220.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "12","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "David","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Steel Fixer","Desig_Description" : "Steel Fixer","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "220.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "13","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Chandru","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Steel Fixer","Desig_Description" : "Steel Fixer","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "220.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "14","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Mani","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Steel Helper","Desig_Description" : "Steel Helper","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "175.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "15","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Karthik","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Wood Fixer","Desig_Description" : "Wood Fixer","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "195.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "16","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Bala","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Wood Fixer","Desig_Description" : "Wood Fixer","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "185.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "17","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Tamil arasi","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Wood Helper","Desig_Description" : "Wood Helper","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "185.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "18","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Perumal","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Cook","Desig_Description" : "Cook","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "105.00"},{"Emp_Id" : "19","Identity_No" : "","Emp_Name" : "Andiappan","Address" : "Madurai","Date_Of_Birth" : "","Desig_Name" : "Watchman","Desig_Description" : "Watchman","SalaryBasis" : "Weekly","FixedSalary" : "150.00"}]} Any suggestion how to get this done...

  • How can I use Convert.ChangeType to convert string into numerics with group separator?

    - by Loic
    Hello, I want to make a generic string to numeric converter, and provide it as a string extension, so I wrote the following code: public static bool TryParse<T>( this string text, out T result, IFormatProvider formatProvider ) where T : struct try { result = (T)Convert.ChangeType( text, typeof( T ), formatProvider ); return true; } catch(... I call it like this: int value; var ok = "123".TryParse(out value, NumberFormatInfo.CurrentInfo) It works fine until I want to use a group separator: As I live in France, where the thousand separator is a space and the decimal separator is a comma, the string "1 234 567,89" should be equals to 1234567.89 (in Invariant culture). But, the function crashes! When a try to perform a non generic conversion, like double.Parse(...), I can use an overload which accepts a NumberStyles parameter. I specify NumberStyles.Number and this time it works! So, the questions are : Why the parsing does not respect my NumberFormatInfo (where the NumberGroupSeparator is well specified to a space, as I specified in my OS) How could I make work the generic version with Convert.ChangeTime, as it has no overload wich accepts a NumberStyles parameter ?

  • Extract known pattern substring from NSString (without regex)

    - by d11wtq
    I'm really tempted to drop RegexKit (or my own libpcre wrapper) into my project in order to do this, but before I do that I want to know how Cocoa developers manage to do half of this basic stuff without really convoluted code or without linking with RegexKit or another regular expression library. I find it gobsmacking that Cocoa does not include any regular expression matching features. I've so accustomed to using regular expressions for all kinds of things that I'm lost without them. I can do what I need without them, but the code would be rather convoluted. So, Cocoa devs, I ask you, what's the "Cocoa way" to do this... The problem is an everyday problem in programming as far as I'm concerned. Cocoa must have ways of doing this with the built-in features. Note that the position of the elements I want to match changes, and sometimes "quotes" are present. Whitespace is variable. Take the following strings: Content-Type: application/xml; charset=utf-8 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Type: text/plain; name="example.txt"; charset=utf-8 From all of these strings, how would you go about determining the mime type (e.g. text/plain) and the charset (e.g. utf-8) using just the built-in Cocoa classes? I'd end up performing a series of -rangeOfString: and substring calls, with conditional checks to deal with the optional quotes etc. Is there a way to do this with NSScanner? The NSScanner class seems to have a pretty naive API to me. Something like C's sscanf() that works for NSString objects would be an ideal fit. Most of my string parsing needs are simple such as this example so maybe regular expressions, while I'm accustomed to them, are overkill?
