  I want to create a menu that looks like: HOME | FOO | BAR | ABOUT | CONTACT How might I go about doing this? Here is what I have tried: <lift:Menu.builder ul:class="menu" li_item:class="current" /> and ul.menu li { display: inline; list-style-type: none; text-transform: uppercase; border-right: 1px solid white; padding-right: 5px; } li.current span { background: white; color: black; padding: 5px 5px 3px 5px; font-size: 11px; } li.current a, a:visited, a:link { color: white; padding: 5px 5px 3px 5px; font-size: 11px; } This gets close, but it doesn't look quite right. • Windows Media Player on top other DIV

  I have an embed window media player which is always on top of other DIV tags. I used wmode = opaque; WindowlessVideo = -1 but it does not help. I've tried putting another foreach loop to iterate through contents of the second array but that really screws up my table by placing random values in different places on the table. Besides the foreach loop, I don't know of any other way to iterate through the array. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks!

  Still trying to get my head around JQuery and dynamically generated content. I have the following code that is dynamically generated with JQuery whenever a user clicks on an 'Add' button: <div id="practices_div" style="border-top: 1px dotted gray"> <br/> <a href="#" class="remove_link" rel="practices_div">Remove</a> ....content goes here </div> The JQuery code that dynamically loads the above content is as follows: $.ajax({ url: '/addAjax.html', success: function(response) { $('#container').append(response); } }); What I'm trying to do is when a user clicks on the Remove link, JQuery should hide and delete the dynamically generated content from the page. The code that does this is as follows: $('.remove_link').live('click', function() { if (confirm("Remove this item?")) { $('#practices_div').fadeOut('medium', function() { $(this).remove(); }); } return false; }); So, when the content is dynamically loaded via Ajax, and I click on the Remove link, the Confirmation dialogue box is displayed and if I confirm, nothing happens. For some reason, JQuery is not able find the dynamically generated #practices_div. Any idea what I may be doing wrong?

I am not trying to get progress or percentages - just when a file is done uploading and if it was a success or failure. THE PROBLEM is that I can't seem to get the server response to appear on the client. I have to following design: I have an iframe on my page: <iframe id="target_frame" src="" style="border:0px; width:0px; height:0px"></iframe> The form tag points to it: <form enctype="multipart/form-data" id="fileUploadForm" name="fileUploadForm" action="picupload.aspx" method="post" target="target_frame"> And the submit button starts a file upload via the iframe: <input id="submit" type="submit" value="upload" /> In the picupload.aspx.cs file, I have a method that returns dynamic data.   I have searched for this with no answer. My page loads up perfectly when I load the header, navigation and then center image...all 3 different divs. However I have more I need to add and the div tags change the size of the page even though the css I'm using isn't larger than the page.   I'm using the responsive version of html5 boilerplate via initializr.com. My site uses a custom logo so i added the .ir class to h1 .ir { background-color: transparent; border: 0; overflow: hidden; *text-indent: -9999px; } like this <h1 class="title ir">h1.title</h1> The documentation says Add the .ir class to any element you are applying image-replacement to. When replacing an element's content with an image, make sure to also set a specific background-image: url(pathtoimage.png);, width, and height so that your replacement image appears. So I added to the code these lines .ir { background-image: url(http://i.imgur.com/yYnyJ.jpg); background-size: 100% auto; width:450px; height:450px } The problem are the specific width and height. What I'm doing is quite simple: two images are shown when I move the mouse across the stage, and when the mouse leaves the stage they are hidden. The problem is, that whenever the mouse hits the border of any movieclip on the stage, the MOUSE_OUT function gets called, hiding the two images. This means that whenever I move the mouse My code (only the relevant parts are shown): public class Slider extends MovieClip { var img1:Img1 = new Img1; var img2:Img2 = new Img2; var img1_hover:Img1_hover = new Img1_hover; var img2_hover:Img2_hover = new Img2_hover; public function Slider() { img1.alpha = 0; img2.alpha = 0; stage.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_MOVE, showArrows); } function showArrows(e:MouseEvent) { img1.alpha = 1; img2.alpha = 1; stage.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OUT, hideArrows); } function hideArrows(e:MouseEvent) { img1.alpha = 0; img2.alpha = 0; } } Flash throws no errors. I am using a separate .as file (just one) and have no code inside of the action panel in the .fla. Where there's stage.addEventListener, I also tried this., root. and nothing instead of stage.

In ff display_short will be called for evry 1 sec eventhough you dont release right click but in IE it will not call display_short if you dont release right click. But i expect in IE it should call display_short for every 1 sec if you dont release also. Is there any solution for this?

  I am developing a search dialog in my eclipse-rcp application. In the search dialog I have a combobox as follows: comboImp = new CCombo(grpColSpet, SWT.BORDER | SWT.READ_ONLY); comboImp.setBounds(556, 46, 184, 27); comboImpViewer = new ComboViewer(comboImp); comboImpViewer.setContentProvider(new ArrayContentProvider()); comboImpViewer.setInput(ImpContentProvider.getInstance().getImps()); comboImpViewer.setLabelProvider(new LabelProvider() { @Override public String getText(Object element) { return ((Imp)element).getImpName(); } }); Imp is a database entity, ManyToOne to the main entity which is searched, and ImpContentProvider is the model class which speaks to embedded sqlite database via jpa/hibernate. This combobox is supposed to contain all instances of Imp, but to also let empty selection; it's value is bound to a service bean as follows: IObservableValue comboImpSelectionObserveWidget = ViewersObservables.observeSingleSelection(comboImpViewer); IObservableValue filterByImpObserveValue = BeansObservables.observeValue(searchPrep, "imp"); bindingContext.bindValue(comboImpSelectionObserveWidget, filterByImpObserveValue , null, null); As soon as the user clicks on the combo, a selection (first element) is made: I can see the call to a selectionlistener i added on the viewer. My question is: after a selection has been made, how do I let the user change his mind and have an empty selection in the combobox? should I add a "fake" empty instance of Imp to the List returned by the ImpContentProvider? or should I implement an alternative to ArrayContentProvider? and one additional related question is: why calling deselectAll() and clearSelection() on the combo does NOT set a null value to the bound bean?
