Is there a place online I can download the 8.1 upgrade from home on my fast internet so I can do a network or usb install at the office? I don't want to have to download 3GB+ of updates on each and every machine through the Windows store over our slow internet connection. The Windows 8 PC's in question are OEM Windows 8 Home, upgraded to Windows 8 Pro via the online Pro pack upgrade.

Edit: The thinking is that I have one mac update itself using Software Update, and then somehow share the downloaded updates with other macs. That's great, but is it also possible to tell the prerequitiinstaller to download the files and keep them in its prerequisite directory?     Hello, some files on Mac OS X (such as .bundle or .mpkg) are considered directories in Windows, but can be used as files on Mac OS X (if you double-click them on Mac OSX, they execute for example), so the problem I have is that I want Mac users to download a .mpkg file from my server, but the problem is IIS considers it a directory and therefore you can't download it. How can I let IIS treat this .mpkg as a file instead of a directory? Thanks!

The only thing I've heard of is a script by Aruba labs called wificfg_xp.exe on a couple of forums (Here and here), but the link to the download page is always broken. Firstly I want to install Windows Server 2008 R2 as I believe this is the latest edition - however when I look to download it from Technet, it will only allow me to download the Windows Automated Installation Kit. I usually use unrax but lately with all these .rar files, the cool zip extractor is not very helpful right now. I am using "ftp" command in AIX. when I use, open public.dhe.ibm.com It's prompting for username/password. But no information regarding this is given on the linked page. The biggest peeve is: Any file downloaded from IE is never saved to disk. IE shows the entire download progress bar and at the end of download, no file is saved anywhere on the disk!

When the download links are in large numbers then there are scroll bars. I find it difficult to scroll up and then select and then drag down to select all links. Is there any way to select all , when I click on select all on right click then it usually selects the text from whole page not from that code segment

However, when I embed it within a Page, I get a broken image icon. However, all browsers treat it as a download. Conversely, this image, which was made the same way, works fine when I embed it within a Page.
