  • Docking *inside* an editor

    I have a document type which has multiple presentations. Say I want to display the document in an RCP editor with a customizable subset of those presentations, in a layout chosen by the user. One option that has come up is docking-like behavior for the panels inside an individual editor, with drag-and-drop, resizing, closing, maybe rollover and floating. Clearly this would need usability testing, but my question here is of feasibility. Are there any existing libraries or e4 plans to support behavior like this?

    When I drag a Label control to my document, I get the following code : <asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" text="Label"></asp:Label> I prefer my code to look like the following instead : <asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" Text="Label" /> How can I get .NET to do this by default? I looked in Tools - Options - Text Editor, where you'd expect to find it, but I couldn't find anything relevant there.

    I'm writing a .NET 3.5 application targetted for Windows Mobile 6.5. My application uses an embedded IE control to display content. The IE application allows the user to finger scroll around the webpage (i.e. touch the screen and drag instead of using the scrollbar). My IE control has a scrollbar and when I emulate the gesture, I highlight text instead of scrolling. Is there a way to add finger gesture support to an embedded IE control? Thanks, Aaron

Now I would actually like to add you know some controls to these tabs like textboxes(text edit). How do I do this?     I have a custom circle component in my application, which is divided into 3 sectors as of now.Can we uniquely identify each segments of this circle? I want to drag and drop text or images from another container to this circle component. But I want to place different images in the different sectors. Is it possible to distinguish the individual sectors of the circle component?     Hi, I'm currently working on a project using DSL tools in Visual Studio 2008. Is there a way to automatically add a resource into the solution explorer of the experimental hive at runtime? I'm creating new diagrams based on what is on screen, and saving them into the directory the project is stored in. I would like to know if there is a way to get them to automatically get added to the solution explorer? (I don't want to have to drag the files in manually each time)

    Hi, Is there no way for javascript hosted on a webserver to read a file on a client's local machine? (this has obvious security risks). I guess I'm wondering if there's any access granting a user can do, like drag and dropping a file into the browser, or explicitly selecting a file from a popup to get around this? I know flash 10 allows reading of a local file, just wondering if there were any method to do this in javascript. Thanks

  • UITableView: block cell dragging during reordering

When I'm in editing mode i want to reorder the cell but e when I drag a cell at the bottom of the screen it's allowed to go down as much as the TableView height and down the last tableViewCell. I've only 4 cell and i want that when Im dragging a cell it's not allowed to go down after the fourth cell. Can Anyone help me?!?

  • Zend_Form validation problem

    I am having problems getting validation to work for a form built using Zend_Form. The idea is this: I have two dropdown. One is a list of players. The other is a list of free agents who play the same position as the player. I am using an onChange javascript callback to run some Ajax code that replaces the free agent list dropdown with a new one at the position of the player they've selected from the player dropdown. Now, perhaps this is the wrong way, but I built the form by creating an instance of Zend_Form and then creating all these setX methods that add elements to the form. My reasoning was that I wanted to display certain elements in specific places on the page, not just output $this-form on my template. The problem appears to be when I get the form post back, the validator seems to not know about the validation rule I set up for the free agent drop down. Here's some relevant code to look at. I'm a relative ZF n00b so feel free to tell me I am not doing things the ZF way if it leaps out at you.   • C# WPF Slider Issue with IsMoveToPointEnabled

    I have IsMoveToPointEnabled on for my Slider, so when I click anywhere on the component the selector moves to my mouse. The problem is if I have this option on and click and hold the mouse down to drag the selector the selector doesn't move. Anyone know how to fix this?

  • One IBOutlet for two UILabels

How can I use the same IBOutlet I've defined in @interface section for both labels if they have the same functionality. (ctrl+dragging to both of them does'n help-each time I drag to second, the first one loses its outlet).
