    Hi, I had a look around and didn't find what I was exactly looking for ... Is there a way to get a flip animation when pushing a view controller ? I read that you can change the animation by using a modal view controller but AFAIK the animation for a modal view is from bottom to top and that's not what i am looking for ;) Is there a way to get a flip animation somehow ?   • [CakePHP] Can not Bake table model, controller and view

    I developed small CakePHP application, and now I want to add one more table (in fact, model/controller/view) into system, named notes. I had already created a table of course. But when I run command cake bake model, I do not get table Notes on the list. I can add it manually, but after that I get some errors when running cake bake controller and cake bake view. Can you give me some clue why I have those problems, and how to add that new model?

    I am little confused with my Opengl game loop. as I am skipping touch events some times. My game loop is some thing like this.. I have ScreenManager which draw and update all game screens who so ever has control.In update I am checking input of all screen also. if input state changes, then whichever screen has control, consume touches. EaglView draw update | | ScreenManager.draw ScreenManager.update -> handle input stack ___________ ___________ of ___________ ___________ screen ___________ ___________ Problem comes.. I am changing input state as touch begun and end methods called. but sometimes In my game loop both touchbegun/end methods get called between two updates and I am missing events. I guess approach is not good. can you guys share your approach to this problem.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the concept of TDD, but I can't see to figure out how a simple test like "Controller XYZ Exists" would look. In addition, what would the unit test look like to test an Action Result off a view?

    I'm trying to design a database to record game histories for a game I'm working on. I have 3 different tables: users, gamehistories, and gamescores. Columns for tables: users: uid, displayname, email gamehistories: gid, pubID, start (datetime), end (datetime) gamescores: gid, uid, score I am trying to produce the following result set given a userID (uid): Opponent's displayname, my score, opponent's score, duration Any ideas? Is my design ok? How can I query these tables to get game histories for a given uid?

  • My OpenGL game switches Aero DWM Glass off.

    Hi ! I wrote a free game a few years ago: http://www.walkover.org. For the lobby and menus, it uses normal dialogs like win32. When the actual game starts it uses OpenGL. Now, on Windows 7, when the actual game starts, it switches windows aero glass off and switches it back on when the game is over. Is there something I can do to prevent this from happening? Some special flags that keep the glass on if it is on? (For newer, I have been using DirectX and this doesn#t happen there.) Maybe some (new) flag I have to specify somewhere? Thx Marc

I intend to do like that when the view is sent dealloc message: - (void)dealloc { if (self.isPerformingSomeTask) { self.isPopedOut = YES; [self retain]; return; } [super dealloc]; } But I think this is not a good solution?
