What happen when you try to add a variable into APC and the APC cache is full? Does it automatically remove least used variable from the cache?
Thanks.
I would like to generate a long UUID - something like the session key used by gmail. It should be at least 256 chars and no more than 512. It can contain all alpha-numeric chars and a few special chars (the ones below the function keys on the keyboard). Has this been done already or is there a sample out there?
C++ or C#
hi to all!
I have an array of products
$products = array_count_values($products);
now I have an array where $key is product number and $value is how many
times I have such a product in the array.
I want to sort this new array that product with the least "duplicates" are
on the first place, but what ever I use (rsort, krsort,..) i loose product
numbers (key).
any suggestions?
thanks.
From the docs:
If all of a managed object's
relationship delete rules are Nullify,
then for that object at least there is
no additional work to do (you may have
to consider other objects that were at
the destination of the relationship—if
the inverse relationship was either
mandatory or had a lower limit on
cardinality, then the destination
object or objects might be in an
invalid state).
Does someone have an example of this cardinality thing? What's this good for and what's important to know about this? (sounds very important...)
From the JMX MXBean specification, a java class type J must satisfy
Either
if J has at least one public constructor with a ConstructorProperties annotation,
Or
if J has a public no-arg constructor, and for every getter in J with type T and name N there is a corresponding setter with the same name and type
So how can I use JAXB to generate JAVA class model which satisfy the MXBean constrain?
Thanks

I'd like to port my iPhone app to Android. The interface is constructed with artwork designed for 320x480 resolution. What steps do I need to take when I'm constructing the XML interface for the Android so that my GUI will be compatible with the different screen sizes (or at least the most popular ones...)?
I have existing java code and need to create Design Document based on that.
For starter even if I could get all functions with input / output parameters that will help in overall proces.
Note: There is not commeted documentation on any procedures, function or classes.
Last but not least. Let me know for any good tool which will reduce time required for this phase. As currently we write every flow and related stuffs.
I'd like to implement a product support site in ASP.NET that will contain at least a forum and a knowledge base(FAQs). Could you recommend some good starting points?
Thanks
I have some xml files with figure spaces in it, I need to remove those with php.
The utf-8 code for these is e2 80 a9. If I'm not mistaken php does not seem to like 6 byte utf-8 chars, so far at least I'm unable to find a way to delete the figure spaces with functions like preg_replace.
Anybody any tips or even better a solution to this problem?
I need to find the path of the database (MDF) or at least the database logs loaded but for some reasons I cannot login through the MSSQL server so I need to know if you know any file/config file that keeps the path of the databases or log file .
Found Mylyn as a very good task manager that supports Trac and Gmail Task.
I've seen Tasktop, but looking for something with smaller memory footprint that I could always run in background.
Is there any lighter client (not on Eclipse platform) to manager at least Trac tasks (via XML-RPC) and in best case scenario with GMail Tasks support?
This might sound stupid, but why doesn't the Java compiler warn about the expression in the following if statement:
String a = "something";
if(a == "something"){
System.out.println("a is equal to something");
}else{
System.out.println("a is not equal to something");
}
I realize why the expression is untrue, but AFAIK, a can never be equal to the String literal "something". The compiler should realize this and at least warn me that I'm an idiot who is coding way to late at night.
I use solr+django-haystack
I set settings.HAYSTACK_INCLUDE_SPELLING = True
and rebuild index
I'm trying to get any suggestion using:
SearchQuerySet().auto_query('tryng ani word
her').spelling_suggestion()
But I always get None
What should I do to get at least one working suggestion ? may be I
need add some configuration into solr config or have some specific
data indexed ?
Using the local dev server, I can use ';' in urls, but as soon as I try the live version hosted by Google, it looks like the ';' and everything afterward is stripped (at least according to request.path_qs).
(I would prefer not to encode them if possible, it's much less user friendly if the url cannot be constructed by copy-pasting, especially since other characters works fine, e.g. ':').
My client is determined to have a page at /nfm&t so I made a directory named nfm&t with an index.html (to test) and that URL is still throwing a 404. So apparently it's not that easy.
Any ideas? Or is there a way to just redirect nfm&t to nfmt, so that the URL at least resolves?
This is a Windows server, by the way, which throws a wrench into how I'm used to doing redirects.
I need a virtual server for web development, it'll host Apache+Postgres+Ruby+something else.
What's the most effective software to run such a server? (ie with least virtualization overhead)
Is there a way to run Linux as as service?
I use VirtualBox at the moment, but it's inconvenient in some ways, such as it needs an emulator window open which also captures keyboard input when alttabbed into.
(Also, coLinux hangs at boot on my machine, so it's probably not an option)
I am in the process of setting up a batch script to do a specified action if the script was run on a weekday, and an alternate action if run on the weekend.
I am almost completely unfamiliar with writing batch scripts, but I know how to write my entire script except the logic I describe above. Can someone please answer both if it is possible, and if it is at least a framework of how to implement it. Thanks in advance.
I try to search for it but I just cant. I am running Windows 7 on Lenovo G460 laptop. I tried to install Ubuntu on it but I cannot use Wireless to connect to the internet for some reason.
Is there anyway for me to get a look at Android source code or at least just the Calendar part of it?
I'd like to work with a dict in python, but limit the number of key/value pairs to X. In other words, if the dict is currently storing X key/value pairs and I perform an insertion, I would like one of the existing pairs to be dropped. It would be nice if it was the least recently inserted/accesses key but that's not completely necessary.
If this exists in the standard library please save me some time and point it out!
I know.. I know, it's only a few hours old.
But how the hell do you get the little page tabbing/cycle (forgot what the official name is) on the top of the page under the app title.
MIX Keynotes made it look like it was a control (or at least what I saw, was @ work).
Anyone who made MIX or knows how they are doing this, it'd be cool to get an answer.
Thanks!
This might seem like an odd request but I'd like to use jQuery's Selectable tool to only select one item at a time and I'd like it to show me a value I'll have within each tag. At the very least I want the contents of that selection. Has anyone tried to do this? For some reason these little things seem to not be all that easily findable in their API for it.
On my site everything looks great in Firefox/Chrome/Safari (all the same) - but IE7, it's all out of whack.
Any ideas how I can modify my CSS to make IE7 at least somewhat usable?
In C# 4, wasn't there a short cut for checking for null values like so:
if( myobject?.myproperty?.myotherproperty?.value != null )
The value would return null and not throw an exception.
Anyone have a link to how to use it or at least the syntax?
I have an Excel 95 workbook, and I need to convert it into a format that is at least Excel 97, although preferably Excel 2003. I don't want to use office automation as this has all kinds of issues. Is there any way to do this in a .Net managed way?
I'm aware of timing issues in Javascript, how its not exact/off by milliseconds etc, but I need something to at least attempt to do browser-based scheduling.
In terms of features, I'm thinking something along the lines of scheduling patterns described here: http://www.sauronsoftware.it/projects/cron4j/manual.php#p02
Anything out there? I've done google searches and haven't found any implementation worth nothing.
