  • iPhone OS 3.2 - How to register for notifcations that may not be available

    So I'm trying to register for the MPMoviePlayerDidExitFullscreenNotification notification in my universal app (iPhone and iPad). Problem is, OS 3.1.3 doesn't support this notification, and just crashes. I've tried version checking, like so: if ([MPMoviePlayerController instancesRespondToSelector:@selector(setShouldAutoplay:)]) {//Check for shouldSetAutoplay, this ensures that we are running at least 3.2 [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] addObserver:self selector:@selector(playerDidFinish:) name:(NSString*)class2 object:[self player]]; Doesn't work, still crashes. How do I do this?

  • SWI-Prolog tokenize_atom/2 replacement?

    What I need to do is to break atom to tokens. E. g.: tokenize_string('Hello, World!', L). would unify L=['Hello',',','World','!']. Exactly as tokenize_atom/2 do. But when I try to use tokenize_atom/2 with non-latin letters it fails. Is there any universal replacement or how I can write one? Thanks in advance.

    I am trying to find a universal way to expand most if not all of the shortened URLs out there. I know short URLs such as bit.ly, TinyURL, goo.gl, etc use the 302 redirection method to redirect you to another site. How can I make a HEAD request to the shortened URL in php and get the "Location" part of the header? Please help me with this. Thanks

  • Ruby on Rails / PostgreSQL - Library not Loaded error when starting server- libq.5.dylib

    I have app that is running Ruby 1.9.2, Rails 3, and postgreSQL 8.3. It was originally setup and working with postgreSQL 9.1, but I uninstalled 9.1 and installed and changed to 8.3 insure compatibility on a Heroku shared database setup.     I want to write .bat script which works under all flavours of Windows, no matter if 32 or 64 bit. In this script I want to run some file.exe. That file is located in C:\Program Files\ under 32-bit systems or C:\Program FIles (x86)\ under x64 systems. I can write: "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\file.exe" under 64bit systems or "%ProgramFiles%\file.exe" under 32bit systems but I want to make the script universal. Is there any way of determining that path universally?

This application would not let you bet on odds directly, but would collect odds from different odds sites and show them to the user.
