If I attempt to use JavaScript to resize it dynamically (setting a new width and height - either on the attributes of the canvas or via the style properties) I get the following error in Firefox: uncaught exception: [Exception...     I am trying to write a query that grabs information from one database and joins it to information in a different database. TableA idA valueA idB TableB idB valueB The tricky part is that in TableA, idB isn't always defined, so when I do a normal join, I only get results where TableA has a idB value. What I want is to be able to grab all of the information from TableA even if it doesn't have a corresponding idB value.

    I've tried to connect to my local machine every time I try and run my program. I am a nub, so it's probably a simple mistake somewhere. def connect(self): self.conn = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_STREAM) self.conn.connect((self.host,self.port)) That is the code causing the error.     Typical strlen() traverse from first character till it finds \0. This requires you to traverse each and every character. In algorithm sense, its O(N). Is there any faster way to do this where input is vaguely defined. Like: length would be less than 50, or length would be around 200 characters. I thought of lookup blocks and all but didn't get any optimization.

    Well I'm working on a school project, and I uploaded my script to send emails. I'm pretty much using whats defined here: http://www.webcheatsheet.com/PHP/send_email_text_html_attachment.php . Now, all I really changed(other than the contents), is the receiver, to my email address. However, I'm not getting it in my inbox. Is there something else I need? Do I need to do something with the settings on the server(or have my school enable something)?

    Hi everyone, this is my question: I'm migrating data from a Btrieve file (.dat) through Pervasive Control Center and there is field type which is defined as integer but is a date and for example the date '31/12/2009' (seen in the legacy system) is view it as the number 733772 when I export it. The legacy system shows the date correctly but I can't export it in the same format or at least I can't convert it. Does anybody know how to convert this number through Excel or something?
