• CodeIgniter - Calling a function from inside a view

  Hey, Is it possible to call a function which is located in a controller from a view. This is what i have in my controller, as an example function checkKeyExists($userid, $key){ } Then inside my view i have the following if(checkKeyExists($row->id, $role->key)){ } But when i run it, it says that checkKeyExists is not defined. If anyone can let me know how i could do this, that would be great. Cheers

  So I have defined variables in such a way in my file: public static final String hello_world = "hello world" public static final String awesome_world = "awesome world" public static final String bye_world= "bye world" I have many declarations like that. Is it possible to format them as(All '=' in a line): public static final String hello_world = "hello world" public static final String awesome_world = "awesome world" public static final String bye_world = "bye world" I can't even think of a way to do it. Example: var query = this.db.People; query = query.Where(p = FullText.ContainsInName(p.Id, "George")); In this example, ContainsInName is my custom function that I want to be executed in the where clause of the query. Is it supported?

The datastructure is int[][][] It contains no duplicates The range of integers that are contained in it is defined. Let's say it's 0..1000, the maximal integer is definitely not greater than 10000. Big problem is that this hash function should also be very fast. Is there a way to create such a hash function? Maybe at run time depending on the integer range?

  I am converting an application to use .dlls and I'm riddled with linker errors stating unersolved external symbol"__declspec(dllimport) public: void __thiscall Rail::SetNextrail(class Rail *)" There is more gibberish at the end of this error message. I have the function with following signature: void box_sort(int**, int, int) and variable of following type: int boxes[MAX_BOXES][MAX_DIMENSIONALITY+1] When I am calling the function box_sort(boxes, a, b) GCC gives me two warnings: 103.c:79: warning: passing argument 1 of ‘box_sort’ from incompatible pointer type (string where i am calling the function) 103.c:42: note: expected ‘int **’ but argument is of type ‘int (*)[11] (string where the function is defined) The question is why? Whether int x[][] and int** x (and actually int* x[]) are not the same types in C?

  Here's my table with some sample data a_id | b_id ------------ 1 225 2 494 3 589 When I run this query INSERT IGNORE INTO table_name (a_id, b_id) VALUES ('4', '230') ('2', '494') It inserts both those rows when it's supposed to ignore the second value pair (2, 494) No indexes defined, neither of those columns are primary. What don't I know?
