  • Tablesorter, Color rows depending on an specific value

    Hi all, I've been looking around for a solution to this thing but I haven't found anything similar to what I'm looking for. The thing is that I've got a table filled with data from a database, and what I want is to change the background colour of an specific row depending on a value of the class I'm loading in each row. The thing is that I have to display some data but as the fields to be displayed are quite a lot, I don't have more space to show an status field, so I would like to show the row in red if the status is inactive, and the rest of the rows in the normal color of the blue stylesheet. Is there a way to do that through tablesorter? I'm opened to suggestions, as I'm not sure how to do it. Thank you all in advance, Victor

  • Ruby on Rails / Yellow Maps For Ruby Plugin woes...

    Okay I've read through the plugin comments and the docs as well and I have yet to come up with an answer as to how to do this. Here's my problem I want to use the :info_window_tabs and the :icon option, but I don't know what format to pass my information in. According to the documentation the following code should be correct. Here's my code: @mapper.overlay_init(GMarker.new([map.lat, map.lng], :title => map.name, :info_window_tabs => [ {:tab => "HTML", :content => @marker_html}, {:tab => "Attachments", :content => "stuff"}], :icon => { :image => "../images/icon.png" })) The readme and documentation can be viewed here.     Hello, I'm new to Ruby/Redmine/Redcloth but I'm trying to achieve the following: The default way to build a link in Textile is "foo":http://bar. However, 90% of the day I use Atlassian products, which use [foo|http://bar] as link markup. To keep everything a bit uniform I'd like to implement this in Redmine via a plugin. However, it appears that you can't change the macro syntax so instead I'll have to look into extending RedCloth to accept this form of inserting links. Does anyone know how I can achieve this?     I've a jQuery plug-in that operates on some ULs, adding and removing classes etc. During the life-cycle of the page, I'll need to add/ remove some classes in code, and as my plug-in needs to perform some additional operations when this happens I came up with the following: // This is the initialiser method... $.fn.objectBuilder = function (options) {...}; // These are the two new methods I need. $.fn.objectBuilder.setSelected(element) {...}; $.fn.objectBuilder.removeSelected() {...}; I'd then like to call them like this: $("#ob1").objectbuilder.removeSelected(); Any thoughts?     I am trying to be able to step through the code of a Hudson plugin called SVNPublisher. I checked out the code for SVNPublisher, used Netbeans to open the project, and clicked "Debug Main project". This results in a Firefox window opening address http://localhost:8080 which shows the Hudson main page.   • Combine 3 select fields and validate as one in my User model in ruby on rails 3

    Ok I have 3 select boxes for selecting date of birth. I have constants setup in my User model to provide months, years etc.. Anyway I can successfully validate these select boxes separately. What I want to do is combine the :day, :month and :year and store in :birthday and validate the whole date as one so I can return 1 error rather than 3 separate ones. Also doing this will make it easier to store the validated date in my birthday field in my database.   • Debugging Maya plug-ins: can't get output or debugger to engage

    I'm not a total beginner at Maya, but this is my first time trying to write a plug-in for it. I've downloaded the 30-day eval version of Maya2011 (32bit version on 64bit Windows 7), and have tried building a couple of plug-ins with VC 2008 Express. The first one is helloWorldCmd from the sample directory ..\devkit\plug-ins, and it basically doesn't work until you convert the line cout<<"Hello World"<<endl; to cerr<<"Hello World"<<endl;, but I can live with that. The second one is the SelectRingContext2 example from David Gould's book. The plug-in works as advertised, but I cannot get any debugging output from it. I've tried putting cout, cerr,printf, and MGlobal::displayInfo into the doIt() method, and can't get a peep. I also haven't figured out how to run the plug-in in a debugger. I'm afraid I'm missing something easy but slightly obscure, like a flag somewhere. Anybody out there have any hints? Edit: Turns out the action is happening in the redoIt() method. So I can get MGlobal::displayInfo and cerr producing output. Still don't know why cout and printf don't work, and I'm not sure how to run in the debugger. When I run maya -d (which some of the online advice says I should do) it just shows the output window but never loads the rest.

  • Ruby on Rails Foreigner plugin not working for SQL Server

    Well, now that I've finally got my stupid ODBC stuff configured, I took a schema.rb file that I dumped from a Postgres database and did a db:schema:load on it in a Rails project configured for SQL Server. Well, it sets up all the schema in the SQL Server database except for a minor detail: No foreign keys are created. The rake command doesn't show any errors and does say it is adding foreign keys. But they don't actually get added. This is the last bit from the command: -- add_foreign_key("workhistoryform", "form", {:name=>"workhistoryform_form_rid_fkey", :column=>"form_rid", :primary_key=>"form_rid"}) -> 0.0002s -- initialize_schema_migrations_table() -> 0.0092s -- assume_migrated_upto_version(0) -> 0.0942s [earlz@earlzarch avp_msql_migrations]$ So what is the problem? Does the Foreigner plugin not work in SQL Server? If it didn't I'd expect to see an error or something...

  • Outlook Plug-In for custom CRM

    I would like to write a plug-in that will allow a custom written CRM to read and write to their local Outlook client. I know that this poses a security concern. But, my clients are asking that their CRM "be connected" to Outlook. They would like to be able to do the following: A) When a contact sends them an email (reply or free standing email), they'd like the details of this email to go INTO the CRM. Yep. They would like me to save the body, time and date it was sent, etc. B) They want to be able to send new emails (or replies to existing emails) from within the CRM itself. Basically, "a form that looks like Outlook's send/reply email form". C) Want the ability to search for contacts and the related emails with a search for tags/keywords facility. (i.e. if a product name or code appears in an email then they want the email returned in the search). D) Having performed a search of many contacts, they will want to prepare a mailer and shoot out some sort of email announcement to their qualified leads. This could be 50, 100, or more persons. So its got to be able to allow bulk mailing. E) Given a list of new prospects, that arent currently contacts in the CRM, they will want to do the same and if they get replies from this mailer to the prospects, the will want the replies to be saved in the DB and contacts be inserted into the DB. F) They would like to be able to utilize the calendar and task list facilities of Outlook from the CRM, as well. More or less, they want this pretty basic (as it is today) CRM that I created to integrate with Outlook and have it do so seamlessly as if it was an add-on to the CRM. A plug-in is what I am thinking... But, I dont know where to begin. My environment is Windows XP/Vista and is going to be ASP.NET and I am going to use the VB.NET language to accomplish this. What do I need? Are there resources out there that can describe how to build a plug-in to Outlook as I have been asked to? This is not Exchange, none of the clients use exchange (not so far). They all run Outlook. Mostly 2003. Most clients are XP right now but some are upgrading to Vista. For some reason I cant seem to wrap my head around this. I think the whole security issue is thwarting my ability to see past what is probably a simple thing. The client doesnt want to be prompted by any security messages asking them if they are sure they want to send 382 emails to their contacts. Not once and certainly not 382 times. Where do I begin? I've searched the internet for similar but mainly what I found are already-written products and I've got to write this from scratch.

  • Copying files from a Rails plugin into the application upon plugin install

    When someone installs this plugin, I would like a file to be copied into the config/initializers directory of the app. I could do this in install.rb by copying a template file that resides somewhere in the plugin. Another option would be to require the user to run a generator after install. I know rspec-rails makes you run a generator after you install it, is that the recommended behavior? And is there anything wrong with copying files into the application in install.rb? Thanks! Lou

I would like to move the search box (.dataTables_filter) and number of records to display dropdown (.dataTables_length) from their parent element (.dataTables_wrapper) to another div on my page without losing any registered javascript behavior. For instance the search box has a function attached to the 'keyup' event and I want to keep that intact. I have also considered changing the CSS so that the elements are absolutely positioned - but to be frank the page is setup with fluid elements all over, and I really want these elements to be floated in their new parents. Any help with this is much appreciated.

  • How to get jQuery draggable elements scroll with mb.imageNavigator

    I am using jQuery mb.imageNavigator (1.8) from http://pupunzi.open-lab.com/mb-jquery-components/mb-imagenavigator/ to implements a Risk type game adjucation system. Using the imageNavigator plugin I am able to scroll around a large game map of the world. My issue is when I declare some elements as draggable and drag them onto the map image, their location does not stay relative to where in the picture I put them. They just stay fixed on the screen no matter where I scroll. Does anyone know how to make the the draggable elements scroll with the image?   • How to use JQUERY to filter table rows dynamically using multiple form inputs

    I'm displaying a table with multiple rows and columns. I'm using a JQUERY plugin called uiTableFilter which uses a text field input and filters (shows/hides) the table rows based on the input you provide. All you do is specify a column you want to filter on, and it will display only rows that have the text field input in that column. Simple and works fine. I want to add a SECOND text input field that will help me narrow the results down even further. So, for instance if I had a PETS table and one column was petType and one was petColor -- I could type in CAT into the first text field, to show ALL cats, and then in the 2nd text field, I could type black, and the resulting table would display only rows where BLACK CATS were found. Basically, a subset. Here is the JQUERY I'm using: $("#typeFilter").live('keyup', function() { if ($(this).val().length > 2 || $(this).val().length == 0) { var newTable = $('#pets'); $.uiTableFilter( theTable, this.value, "petType" ); } }) // end typefilter $("#colorFilter").live('keyup', function() { if ($(this).val().length > 2 || $(this).val().length == 0) { var newTable = $('#pets'); $.uiTableFilter( newTable, this.value, "petColor" ); } }) // end colorfilter Problem is, I can use one filter, and it will display the correct subset of table rows, but when I provide input for the other filter, it doesn't seem to recognize the visible table rows that are remaining from the previous column, but instead it appears that it does an entirely new filtering of the original table. If 10 rows are returned after applying one filter, the 2nd filter should only apply to THOSE 10 rows. I've tried LIVE and BIND, but not working. Can anyone shed some light on where I'm going wrong?     hi guys, i'm using this json suggest box and i was wondering if there's a way to include an option to make it close when the user click on somewhere else? else right now unless the user select something, the suggest box will never close. Or is there another suggest box out there that i can use? basically my data are in json format. sorry if this question sounds lazy, but i think if there's other json suggest users, they might appreciate this too.
