  • ListAdapter --> How apply convert view changes to specific view item only?

    I am trying to get have the lower part of list view slide down, by hiding an unhiding linear layout in list_item. The problem is the view seems to get reused in LayoutAdapter so that the change does not just effect the view I intended to apply it to. Instead it shows up wherever the view is reused. How can I restrict the drop down to just the view on which I requested the dropdown? By drop down I mean unhide the linear layout.

  • jQuery jPicker colorpicker: How to convert from 8 digit (w Transparency) to standard 6 digit hex?

    I've got a jPicker installed and running fine; its a pretty sweet script. However, the value it returns to my input box is 8 digit hex. I need it to return 6 digit hex. Rather than post-process the 8 digit into 6, I'd rather just hack into the script and force 6 digit. Alternately, I'd be ok with hooking into the change event of the jPicker to intercept the value its sending to the input element and doing the conversion there just before it updates the input with the hex.   • Unable to generate a temporary class (result=1). error CS0030: Cannot convert type 'Type[]' to 'Type'?

    I get this error after I created a class from my xsd file using the xsd.exe tool. So I searched the net and found a solution. Here is the link: http://satov.blogspot.com/2006/12/xsdexe-generated-classes-causing.html Problem is that this makes the code run, but somehow the deserialized data seems corrupt. I did what the site suggests and in the end the 2nd array dimension is always empty (see the comments of the site, somebody also had this problem). Question is, how do I solve this issue now? Is there another tool to create the xsd file? I tried Xsd2Code, without success. Thanks :-)

    I'm importing a CSV file with dotted german dates into a MySQL database. I want the dates in the CSV to automatically be formatted correctly to the correct data type fields used by MySQL. I'm using Sequel Pro for the import. I gather I'm supposed to use the STR_TO_DATE function, but I just can't wrap my head around how to use add value or expression.   • How to convert System.Object that's really an int32[] to a double[] ?

    Hello- I get data from a 3rd party API that just gives me back a System.Object, which I know to be a double[] under the covers. And to deal with that return type, I have found the code below to work wonderfully. However, I also get back some int[] arrays that are also masquerading as System.Object, specifically dates in the form YYYYMMDD (e.g. 20100310). The conversion to float fails, and it just says that the specified cast is not valid.     Title says it all, and I am not too familiar with LINUX, but I can get by if I get some help. I am looking for a way(s) where I can do the above, or in lieu of that, download a program that will do this for me. Very simply, I have a bunch of *.png 's that I would like to convert into a movie, (mpg, mpeg, mpeg2, whatever).     what is the easiest(and fastest) way to perform this kind of transformation: "Data in XML" to "Some MS Word 2003 Supported format" to PDF using Java? My first guess was to fill the template with XML data (using Placeholders for example) and then save it and convert it to PDF. But I can't just put placeholders to DOC files, and I can't convert from some other Word formats to PDF... My primary task is to convert XML Data to PDF allowing users to change the PDF on-demand. The best way to change the PDF on-demand seems to give user some kind of MS Word readable document, and then convert it back. There are 2 main problems with this task: 1) I can't use OpenOffice for conversion. 2) System should be able to convert ~1 page of table-based document per 1 second on 2Ghz Core. 3) RTF does not provide enough styling, so some more complex format should be used.   • Convert filenames to their checksum before saving to prevent duplicates. Is is a smart thing to do?

    TL;DR:what the title says I am developing some sort of image board in PHP. I was thinking of changing each image's filename to it's checksum prior to saving it. This way, I might be able to prevent duplicates. I know this wouldn't work for two images that are the same but differ in size or level of compression or whatnot, but this method would allow for an early check. What bugs me is that I never saw this method implemented anywhere, so I was wondering if there is a catch to it. Maybe it is just more efficient to keep the original filename and store the hash in DB? Maybe the whole method is just not useful and my question is moot? What do you think? On a side note, I don't really get how hashes are calculated so I was wondering, if my first question checks out, if it would be possible to calculate the likeness that two images are similar by comparing hashes (levenshtein or something of the sort).

    I am happily working on a contract for a good, solid company. This client is very happy with my work and has asked me to consider converting to full-time employment. My problem is the headhunter. This firm has not been entirely upfront with me throughout this contract. A mistake was made by the firm that benched me for several days, costing me those days' pay. Inadequate healthcare coverage left me with a bill of several thousand dollars after my wife's brief hospital stay. My feeling is that I did the work that earned me the invitation to work full-time for this company. Asking for 1/3 of the commission I figure they're going to receive would nicely counterbalance the inequities that I perceive were dealt to me. Is this an (un)reasonable or (in)appropriate request?
