But if I change it to null == object.getItems(), it workes fine.   • unix tool to remove duplicate lines from a file

    I have a tool that generates tests and predicts the output. The idea is that if I have a failure I can compare the prediction to the actual output and see where they diverged. The problem is the actual output contains some lines twice, which confuses diff. I want to remove the duplicates, so that I can compare them easily. Basically, something like sort -u but without the sorting. Is there any unix commandline tool that can do this?

This line works in Ubuntu's terminal, but the Mac terminal seems to be far behind. Unfortunately, I copied this snippet from some site, so I'm not sure how it exactly works.   • Where does $PATH get set in OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard?

    I type echo $PATH on the command line and get /opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/Users/andrew/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/mysql/bin:/usr/local/pear/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11/bin:/opt/local/bin:/usr/local/git/bin I'm wondering where this is getting set since my .bash_login file is empty. I'm particularly concerned that, after installing MacPorts, it installed a bunch of junk in /opt. I don't think that directory even exists in a normal Mac OS X install.   • Trying to randomise a jQuery content slider

    Hi everyone, I'm using a very nice jQuery content slider called Easy Slider on my site that I downloaded from Css Globe. The script is excellent and does just what I want - except I can't make it randomise the list, it always scrolls from left to right or right to left! I'm far from good with JavaScript, so my attempts at solving this have been feeble. Although I'm sure it must be an easy fix! If anyone wouldn't mind taking a glance over the script to see if they can spot what I need to change to make it random it would be greatly appreciated! I've tried contacting the original plugin developer but have had no response yet. The comments on the Easy Slider page didn't bear much fruit either unfortunately.   • How can I make monodevelop render text in KDE?

    Monodevelop from git in KDE 4.10.2 does not render text in code edit tabs I tried with xfce and text is rendered ok there. I tried disabling composition with alt shift f12 and restarting x server but it was no better. I also tried disabling font softening in monodevelop options and disabling plugins. I also tried temporarily deleting my KDE profile. This is dual screen setup on Nvidia with nouveau. OS is slackware64-current.

MyDB: 159.812500 MB free MyDB_Log: 149476.390625 MB free So it seems there is some free space. We backup transaction logs every hour, diff backup 5 nights a week, full backup the other 2 nights of the week.

What set of patches are you using on kernel source? (Has anyone got the pvops dom0 stuff working in production or is it better to stick with something like the SUSE patches? Any other tips and tricks to running a more recent kernel version as dom0 would be helpful.
