• gwt rounded panel (standards based widget akin to DecoratorPanel)

  I'm trying to write an app that uses rounded corners for framing the app. I've found a package on google code that has a RoundedLinePanel and it seems to work... kind of. I'm wondering a few things. Is this what people are using for creating divs with round corners in GWT? The release notes say it hasn't changed in almost a year. Also, I can't seem to set a fixed height of this div (setHeight sets it on the wrapper div, not the inner one). so it's not useful to me as I have a fixed height app. Finally, if anyone can suggest a better mechanism for creating rounded corner divs in GWT I'm all ears.

For example i want to save each parameter into a String array. So i'd like: contentScriptType="text/ecmascript" width="1024" zoomAndPan="magnify" contentStyleType="text/css" viewBox="0 0 1024 768" height="768" etc etc to be saved into a string array, is there anyway to do this using the split method, or can anybody suggest an easier, more efficient way to do this?

The problem seems to be on my OnMouseMove method. • IE7 float/clear bug

  I am having the weirdest behavior in IE7 on this page. I have a clear: left on #moored that makes sure that #content-container will expand to the height of the float: left'd #content. Of course, Firefox and IE8 do it right. The weird thing though, is in IE7, it appears that #content-container is automatically expanding to contain the #secondary-content, which it shouldn't. Even weirder is when I view with IE8 with developer tools, the boundary boxes seem to show the that the #content-container is the expanding to the height of the #secondary-container, even though the background: #fff tells a different story. The background goes to where it should, and the void is now black. I've Googled a bit and came across heaps of similar float bugs, but I don't think I've found one which offers a fix yet for this circumstance. Can anyone please help me?

  I am customizing the ajax html editor. I am creating a class which derives from ajax html editor, and overriding FillTopToolbar() method to have limited toolbar buttons. • Flex: vertical gap between list items not working

I have tried everything from setting the "vertical-gap" property to negative and positive numbers as well as changing the padding-bottom and padding-top on them. I want the buttons to be right up against eachother vertically. I have also tried "button-height" and padding on the List component...still nothing. How do I control this?

  I have an image (i) that's been scaled from its original size (rectLarge) to fit a smaller rectangle (rectSmall). Given a point p in rectSmall, how can I translate this to a point in rectLarge. To make this concrete, suppose I have a 20x20 image that's been scaled to a 10x10 rect. The point (1, 1) in the smaller rect should be scaled up to a point in the larger rect (i.e. (2,2)). I'm trying to achieve this with: result.x = point.x * (destRect.size.width / srcRect.size.width ); result.y = point.y * (destRect.size.height / srcRect.size.height); However, the points generated by this code are not correct - they do not map to the appropriate point in the original image. What am I doing wrong?

• How do I make a google larger by scale

  I've just started using google charts and want to use it in a small project I'm workin on but I've bumped into a problem. The thing is I want the charts rather big at a static size and look good but I'm generating the charts dynamically with php. Now the problem is that I can't get it to scale properly in width but height is perfectly fine. Here's an example chart I've generated: Parameters: cht=bvo&chs=400x400 chd=t:1,4,1 chxr=2,0,4,1 chds=0,4 chco=4d89f9 chxt=x,x,y,y chxl=0:|3|7|26|1:|Correct+answers|3:|People You see how the chart fills the 400px of height but not the width. I've searched and look through the api but I can't get it right.

  Guys, I just need a little help with some CSS layout if you don't mind. I've got three things I'm trying to play around with and I need some help making this work the way I was hoping. I've got the element of a page, which I'd like to be 100% of the browser window, obviously. Then I've got two elements which I'd like to stack on top of each other, but the trick is this, I'd like the bottom div, (a menu which should really be a fixed height) to determine the height of the top div. Is there a way to lay this out in CSS?

  I've put some text inside a rectangle using inkscape so the tree is like <svg:rect><svg:text><svg:tspan>text.... The problem is, I can't see the text. I've tried fiddling with the opacity of the rect to no avail. There should be a way of doing this from the UI?   Is there any way to make two controls that are in different containers the same size in WPF? For example, suppose you have two textboxes: textbox1 and textbox2. Textbox1 is in a grid and its size can grow and shrink when the user resizes the window. Textbox2 is in another part of the window and I need it to always have the same size as textbox1. Is there any way to do this? Keep in mind SharedSizeGroup will not work because the textboxes are in different containers. Also, I've tried binding textbox2's height property to textbox1 and that doesn't seem to work either. Finally, I tried catching textbox1's SizeChanged event, but its Height property is always NaN for some reason.

  Hi, I have an image in my html with a class of "stretch". Currently, with css, this image re-sizes as the window re-sizes to be 100% of the screen width. I would also like it to move upwards as the window is being re-sized. I'm assuming this can be done with jQuery but I am not quite sure. Basically the "top" css value just needs to change as the screen width does.   Hey. Another WPF question. In my XAML code I have a border: <Border x:Name="myBorder" Background="AliceBlue" Width="200" Height="200" BorderThickness="10" BorderBrush="Black"> </Border> and somewhere in code I increase the BorderThickness double thickness = myBorder.BorderThickness.Bottom + 2; myBorder.BorderThickness = new Thickness(thickness); and the result is that the border's weight increases but not outside the 200x200 width-height, but inner, decreasing the dimension. Is there a way to do the opposite?

• Binding Silverlight UserControl custom properties to its' elements

  Hi. I'm trying to make a simple crossword puzzle game in Silverlight 2.0. I'm working on a UserControl-ish component that represents a square in the puzzle. I'm having trouble with binding up my UserControl's properties with its' elements. I've finally (sort of) got it working (may be helpful to some - it took me a few long hours), but wanted to make it more 'elegant'. I've imagined it should have a compartment for the content and a label (in the upper right corner) that optionally contains its' number. The content control probably be a TextBox, while label control could be a TextBlock.   Hello, How to do bind data from DataTable to Chart series? I get null reference exception. I tried binding with square brackets and it did not worked either. So, how to do the binding? Thanks. P.S: I included DataGrid XAML and CS which works just fine. Converting data to List<KeyValuePair<string,int>> works good but it is kinda slow and is unnessesary trash in code. I use WPFToolkit (the latest version). • Scriptaculous Draggable/Droppable script not working properly when dragging into a scrolling div

  I am using the Scriptaculous Draggable/Droppable scripts and have a problem when dragging into a scrolling div. This works very well for most cases, but when there are too many images for the grid and it has to scroll, I run into issues. I can still drag/drop into most items in that div, but when I scroll down and then try to drag onto an item in the bottom of the list, it drops on the row that was at the bottom before I scrolled the div. Even if I set the scroll attribute when creating the Draggable items, it will scroll the grid div, but not use the proper Droppable item. Is there any way to make the Draggable items drop onto the proper Droppable element regardless of if the containing div is scrolled or not?
