• SQL Server Agent was not running on Server Dynamics CRM 2013

  I'm trying to install Dynamics CRM 2013 on a server. This server is on a VM. There are several other VMs, an ADDS & DNS, a MSSQL and a WebServer VM. Each server is a Windows Server 2012 R2. The SQL Server is 2012 Enterprise. Each VM is part of the main Domain, set by the ADDS & DNS. NSLookup confirms I can see the computer at the right IP address. Each separate VM has its own static IP, the DNS is set to the ADDS & DNS. I use the domain administrator to log into all the servers, and make the that domain administrator a local administrator. I've set up all the domain users for the CRM and gave them appropriate permissions, I have also added the accounts to the appropriate places, such that the CRM Deployment user is in the SQL security. The SQL Agent is running. SQL server configuration manager has SQL server network configuration TCP/IP enabled to allow remote connections. The SQL server has the domain user as a administrator, which is the same user being used to install the CRM. In the CRM setup i point to the [Servername]\[Instance] and I have also tried just the [Servername]. to make this easier I called the server MSSQL and left the instance name to the default. I even install the MSSQL instance as the domain administrator. CRM can find the ReportServer url. I have enable all the ports required, including: 135, 1433, 1434, 2382, 2383, 4022. 1434 UDP. I feel like I have absolutely done everything, I have google many times and tried all the different methods, and for the life of me I cant seem to get the CRM setup to find the SQL server agent. It passes everything else perfectly fine. I can even ping the MSSQL server. What is the problem, why does the CRM still keep giving the error: SQLSERVERAGENT (SQLSERVERAGENT) service is not running on the server MSSQL On the MSSQL server, the name of the sql server agent service is: SQL Server Agent (MSSQLSERVER)

• NHibernate: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute

  Hi All, I'm currently struggling with this "Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute" issue. I have searched about this error message, and it's all related to the foreach statement. I do have the some foreach statements, but they are just simply representing the data. I did not using any remove or add inside the foreach statement. NOTE: The error randomly happens (about 4-5 times a day). The application is the MVC website. There are about 5 users operate this applications (about 150 orders a day). Could it be some another users modified the collection, and then occur this error? I have log4net setup and the settings can be found here Make sure that the controller has a parameterless public constructor I do have parameterless public constructor in AdminProductController Does anyone know why this happen and how to resolve this issue? A friend (Oskar) mentioned that "Theory: Maybe the problem is that your configuration and session factory is initialized on the first request after application restart. If a second request comes in before the first request is finished, maybe it will also try to initialize and then triggering this problem somehow." Many thanks. • How to export SSIS to Microsoft Excel without additional software?

  This question is long winded because I have been updating the question over a very long time trying to get SSIS to properly export Excel data. I managed to solve this issue, although not correctly. Aside from someone providing a correct answer, the solution listed in this question is not terrible. The only answer I found was to create a single row named range wide enough for my columns. In the named range put sample data and hide it. SSIS appends the data and reads metadata from the single row (that is close enough for it to drop stuff in it). The data takes the format of the hidden single row. This allows headers, etc. WOW what a pain in the butt. It will take over 450 days of exports to recover the time lost. However, I still love SSIS and will continue to use it because it is still way better than Filemaker LOL. My next attempt will be doing the same thing in the report server. Original question notes: If you are in Sql Server Integrations Services designer and want to export data to an Excel file starting on something other than the first line, lets say the forth line, how do you specify this? I tried going in to the Excel Destination of the Data Flow, changed the AccessMode to OpenRowSet from Variable, then set the variable to "YPlatters$A4:I20000" This fails saying it cannot find the sheet. The sheet is called YPlatters. I thought you could specify (Sheet$)(Starting Cell):(Ending Cell)? Update Apparently in Excel you can select a set of cells and name them with the name box. This allows you to select the name instead of the sheet without the $ dollar sign. Oddly enough, whatever the range you specify, it appends the data to the next row after the range. Oddly, as you add data, it increases the named selection's row count. Another odd thing is the data takes the format of the last line of the range specified. My header rows are bold. If I specify a range that ends with the header row, the data appends to the row below, and makes all the entries bold. if you specify one row lower, it puts a blank line between the header row and the data, but the data is not bold. Another update No matter what I try, SSIS samples the "first row" of the file and sets the metadata according to what it finds. However, if you have sample data that has a value of zero but is formatted as the first row, it treats that column as text and inserts numeric values with a single quote in front ('123.34). I also tried headers that do not reflect the data types of the columns. I tried changing the metadata of the Excel destination, but it always changes it back when I run the project, then fails saying it will truncate data. If I tell it to ignore errors, it imports everything except that column. Several days of several hours a piece later... Another update I tried every combination. A mostly working example is to create the named range starting with the column headers. Format your column headers as you want the data to look as the data takes on this format. In my example, these exist from A4 to E4, which is my defined range. SSIS appends to the row after the defined range, so defining A4 to E68 appends the rows starting at A69. You define the Connection as having the first row contains the field names. It takes on the metadata of the header row, oddly, not the second row, and it guesses at the data type, not the formatted data type of the column, i.e., headers are text, so all my metadata is text. If your headers are bold, so is all of your data. I even tried making a sample data row without success... I don't think anyone actually uses Excel with the default MS SSIS export. If you could define the "insert range" (A5 to E5) with no header row and format those columns (currency, not bold, etc.) without it skipping a row in Excel, this would be very helpful. From what I gather, noone uses SSIS to export Excel without a third party connection manager. Any ideas on how to set this up properly so that data is formatted correctly, i.e., the metadata read from Excel is proper to the real data, and formatting inherits from the first row of data, not the headers in Excel? One last update (July 17, 2009) I got this to work very well. One thing I added to Excel was the IMEX=1 in the Excel connection string: "Excel 8.0;HDR=Yes;IMEX=1". This forces Excel (I think) to look at all rows to see what kind of data is in it. Generally, this does not drop information, say for instance if you have a zip code then about 9 rows down you have a zip+4, Excel without this blanks that field entirely without error. With IMEX=1, it recognizes that Zip is actually a character field instead of numeric. And of course, one more update (August 27, 2009) The IMEX=1 will succeed importing data with missing contents in the first 8 rows, but it will fail exporting data where no data exists. So, have it on your import connection string, but not your export Excel connection string. I have to say, after so much fiddling, it works pretty well.

  Hi, I have a question about list views. I hope someone knows the solution, because I have been trying to solve this problem all weekend. I have a custom list view in which every row have a custom .xml (item_row.xml) with a set color background for the row item. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="70dip" android:orientation="vertical" android:background="@drawable/list_bg"> The problem is that when I try to make a selector for the list. I want two things: When the item is focused, the typical orange rectangle should appear over it, and the same When the item is pressed. I have proved with a selector and a custom style but all I get is or the selector doesn't appear or the selector covering the item so I can't see it.   Todays cause of hair loss has been the following scenario: I have a service that takes 2 strings and returns another. This service uses basicHttpBinding <basicHttpBinding> <binding name="basicHttpNoSec"> <security mode="None" /> </binding> </basicHttpBinding> Anyway, it works fine from a console test app. I have a silverlight app sat on top which implements another basicHttpBinding service that simply reuses the contract in the other service and the silverlight App uses this service. I have a console app that confirms that this service is working and set up with basichttpbinding. I have all the clientAccessPolicy stuff in place. when I run the silverlight app the difference is that it runs everything async ... as such the only message i directly get back rom wcf is server not found. Just don't want any visible changes.   I am loading an external file 'contact_us.aspx' into a jquery dialog box. the external page contains a form. When the submit button is pressed it closes the dialog box and changes the page to contact_us.aspx. is my code correct or is there a different way of doing this. see my code below, thanks. • How do I prevent flickering on CListCtrl?

  I'm using a CListCtrl/CListView report view (LVS_REPORT) in virtual mode (LVS_OWNERDATA) with LVS_EX_DOUBLEBUFFER enabled and I encounter ugly flickering. Double buffer have a real effect but it doesn't stop all flickering (without it very slow). I'm not looking for switching to other controls that would require a high amount of rework (like ObjectListView) How does the flickering behaves: * on column resize - the background is first clean using lightgray and after this is displayed the text (background is white) * on mouse scroll (animated) - for a very short time there is lightgray-bar displayed in the area where new lines are to be displayed. It looks like it does clean the background using the default window background color (lightgray) for the area where it has to redraw. How do I solve the flickering problem?

  Storyline Trying to migrate a database from MySQL to PostgreSQL. All the documentation I have read covers, in great detail, how to migrate the structure. I have found very little documentation on migrating the data. The schema has 13 tables (which have been migrated successfully) and 9 GB of data. MySQL version: 5.1.x PostgreSQL version: 8.4.x I want to use the R programming language to analyze the data using SQL select statements; PostgreSQL has PL/R, but MySQL has nothing (as far as I can tell). A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... Create the database location (/var has insufficient space; also dislike having the PostgreSQL version number everywhere -- upgrading would break scripts!): sudo mkdir -p /home/postgres/main sudo cp -Rp /var/lib/postgresql/8.4/main /home/postgres sudo chown -R postgres.postgres /home/postgres sudo chmod -R 700 /home/postgres sudo usermod -d /home/postgres/ postgres All good to here. Here's the command I'm running: wmic -U 'domain.com/admin%password' //machine "Select Name from Win32_Service" The error I'm getting is as follows: ERROR: dcom_create_object. ERROR: Login to remote object. NTSTATUS: NT_STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT - NT_STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT Could anyone help me understand this. I've connected to the windows box with the credentials supplied, and wmi seems to be functioning correctly. What else could be causing this?

• WPF ComboBox Binding to non string object

  I'm using MVVM (MVVM Light Toolkit) and have a property on the view model which exposes a list of objects. The objects contain two properties, both strings, which correlate to an abbreviation and a description. I want the ComboBox to expose the pairing as "abbreviation - description". If I use a data template, it does this easily. I have another property on the view model which represents the object that should display as selected -- the chosen item in the ComboBox. I'm binding the ItemsSource to the list, as it represents the universe of available selections, and am trying to bind the SelectedItem to this object. I'm killing myself trying to figure out why I can't get it to work, and feeling more like a fraud by the hour. In trying to learn why this works, I created the same approach with just a list of strings, and a selected string. This works perfectly. So, it clearly has something to do with the typing... perhaps something in choosing equality? Or perhaps it has to do with the data template? • Unable to delete a file using bash script

  I'm having problems removing a file in a bash script. I saw the other post with the same problem but none of those solutions solved my problem. The bash script is an OP5 surveillance check and it calls an Expect process that saves a temporary file to the local drive which the bash script reads from. Once it has read the file and checked its status I would like to remove the temporary file. I'm pretty new to scripting so my script may not be as optimal as it can be. Either way it does the job except removing the file once it's done. And specify that in the rm command. I tried creating another if statement similar to the one I use to verify that file exist and then rm the filename. I tried adding the complete name of the file (no variables, just plain text of the file) I can: Remove the file using the full name in both a separate script and directly in the CLI. Is there something in my script that locks the file that prevents me from removing it? I'm not sure what to try next. Thanks in advance!

  Hi, so the question ist pretty much the title. I have a 3d volume loaded as raw data [256, 256, 256] = size(A). It contains only values of zero's and ones, where the 1's represent the structure and 0's the "air". I want to visualize the structure in matlab and then run an algorithm on it and put an overlay on it, let's say in the color red. So to be more precise: How do i visualize the 3d volume. 0's transparent, 1's semitransparent? Plot a line in the 3 d vis as an overlay? I already read the mathworks tutorials and they didn't help. I tried using the set command, but it fails completly saying for every property i try "invalid root property". I hope someone can help.

• css nth-child(2n+1) repaint css after filtering out list items

  I have a list of 20+ items. The background-color changes using the :nth-child(2n+1) selector. (ie. even item black, odd item white). When I click a button to filter out specific items using the jQuery Isotope plugin it adds a .isotope-hidden class to the items I want to filter out, which changes the position of the list item to 0,0 and opacity to 0. When this happens the remaining items are left with the original black/white background-colors, which are now no longer in order. Does anyone know a way to "repaint' the css using the :nth-child(2n+1) selector on the items that do not contain the .isotope-hidden class. I tried #element tr:not(.isotope-hidden):nth-child(2n+1) with no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

• Constant opacity with glBlendFunc on iPhone

  What glBlendFunc should I use to ensure that the opacity of my drawing is always the same? When I use glBlendFunc(GL_SRC_ALPHA, GL_ONE_MINUS_SRC_ALPHA) and multiple images are drawn on top of each other, the result is more and more opaque until it's completely opaque after a certain number of imgaes. The closest I have come is to use glBlendFunc(GL_ONE_MINUS_DST_ALPHA, GL_ONE_MINUS_SRC_ALPHA) which maintains a constant opacity no matter how many images are on top of each other, although there is a slight variation in opacity if the images overlap each other. Any other render states I should consider trying? Any other ideas? I am making a drawing app for my kid and I don't want the images (brush) they draw to cover up the background. Heres the closest I've got: I want to have it so that the overlap part of the circles is the same color and opacity as the center part of the circle. I am using cocos2d iphone v. 0.99
