    - by user2462648

Below is a the publisher.php <?php require_once('../php-amqplib/amqp.inc'); include('../config.php'); $conn = new AMQPConnection(HOST, PORT, USER, PASS, VHOST); $channel = $conn->channel(); $channel->exchange_declare('upload-pictures','direct', false, true, false); $metadata = json_encode(array( 'image_id' => $argv[1], 'user_id' => $argv[2], 'image_path' => $argv[3] )); $msg = new AMQPMessage($metadata, array('content_type' => 'text/plain','delivery_mode' => 2)); $channel->basic_publish($msg, 'upload-pictures'); $channel->close(); $conn->close(); ?> consumer.php <?php require_once('../php-amqplib/amqp.inc'); include('../config.php'); $conn = new AMQPConnection(HOST, PORT, USER, PASS,VHOST); $channel = $conn->channel(); $queue = 'add-points'; $consumer_tag = 'consumer'; $channel->exchange_declare('upload-pictures','direct', false, true, false); $channel->queue_declare('add-points',false, true, false, false); $channel->queue_bind('add-points', 'upload-pictures'); $consumer = function($msg){}; $channel->basic_consume($queue,$consumer_tag,false,false,false,false,$consumer); ?> according to the example provided in the rabbitmq manual, i need to run consumer(php consumer.php) first in one terminal and the publisher (php publisher.php 1 2 file/path.png) in another terminal, i will get a "Adding points to user: 2" message in the consumer terminal. iam not getting this message at all. can you suggest where iam going wrong

  • Selecting an area from displayed image using CImg library

    - by sravan
    hi all, i use CImg for my image processing work. I had written a small piece of code which is follows: #include "../CImg.h" #include <iostream> using namespace std; using namespace cimg_library; int main(int argc,char**argv) { CImg<int> img(argv[1]); CImgDisplay disp; disp.assign(img); while(!disp.is_closed) disp.wait(); return 0; } Now i want to select an area from the displayed image. Can some one tell me how to select an area from displayed image and store the selected pixels, and display the selected region in different display window. If some one can provide code, it will be of great help to me. Thank you all

  • Infinite gtk warnings when I right click on the icon --CLOSED

    - by Runner
    From this tuto: #include <gtk/gtk.h> int main( int argc, char *argv[]) { GtkWidget *window; gtk_init(&argc, &argv); window = gtk_window_new(GTK_WINDOW_TOPLEVEL); gtk_widget_show(window); gtk_main(); return 0; } I run the executable and right click on the icon,then infinite warnings(the same) reported: GLib-WARNING **: g_main_context_check() called recursively from within a source's check() or prepare() member. Anyone knows how to fix this warning? UPDATE This problem also exists with gtk-demo , is it a gtk bug? Can someone verify that? Platform: windows XP UPDATE AGAIN This is indeed a gtk bug,which is un-fixable.

  • Why does my Perl regular expression only find the last occurrence?

    - by scharan
    I have the following input to a Perl script and I wish to get the first occurrence of NAME="..." strings in each of the <table>...</table> structures. The entire file is read into a single string and the regex acts on that input. However, the regex always returns the last occurrence of NAME="..." strings. Can anyone explain what is going on and how this can be fixed? Input file: ADSDF <TABLE> NAME="ORDERSAA" line1 line2 NAME="ORDERSA" line3 NAME="ORDERSAB" </TABLE> <TABLE> line1 line2 NAME="ORDERSB" line3 </TABLE> <TABLE> line1 line2 NAME="ORDERSC" line3 </TABLE> <TABLE> line1 line2 NAME="ORDERSD" line3 line3 line3 </TABLE> <TABLE> line1 line2 NAME="QUOTES2" line3 NAME="QUOTES3" NAME="QUOTES4" line3 NAME="QUOTES5" line3 </TABLE> <TABLE> line1 line2 NAME="QUOTES6" NAME="QUOTES7" NAME="QUOTES8" NAME="QUOTES9" line3 line3 </TABLE> <TABLE> NAME="MyName IsKhan" </TABLE> Perl Code starts here: use warnings; use strict; my $nameRegExp = '(<table>((NAME="(.+)")|(.*|\n))*</table>)'; sub extractNames($$){ my ($ifh, $ofh) = @_; my $fullFile; read ($ifh, $fullFile, 1024);#Hardcoded to read just 1024 bytes. while( $fullFile =~ m#$nameRegExp#gi){ print "found: ".$4."\n"; } } sub main(){ if( ($#ARGV + 1 )!= 1){ die("Usage: extractNames infile\n"); } my $infileName = $ARGV[0]; my $outfileName = $ARGV[1]; open my $inFile, "<$infileName" or die("Could not open log file $infileName"); my $outFile; #open my $outFile, ">$outfileName" or die("Could not open log file $outfileName"); extractNames( $inFile, $outFile ); close( $inFile ); #close( $outFile ); } #call main();

  • Unable to locate the Bug

    - by tzenes
    I was recently on The Daily WTF when I came across this old post. In it the author mentions that one of the programmers changed this code: int main (int argc, char **argv) { int x; char data_string[15]; ... x = 2; strcpy(data_string,"data data data"); ... } To this code: int main (int argc, char **argv) { int x = 2; char data_string[15] = "data data data"; ... } The author goes on to mention: [the coder] changed every single variable to be initiated on the stack For the life of me I cannot see how this change could be harmful, and I am worried that it is a lapse in my C knowledge. What is the WTF?

  • Determine calling executable in Python

    - by Brian Rosner
    I am trying to find the best way of re-invoking a Python script within itself. Currently it is working like http://github.com/benoitc/gunicorn/blob/master/gunicorn/arbiter.py#L285. The START_CTX is created at http://github.com/benoitc/gunicorn/blob/master/gunicorn/arbiter.py#L82-86. The code is relying on sys.argv[0] as the "caller". However, this fails in cases where it is invoked with: python script.py ... This case does work: python ./script.py ... because the code uses os.chdir before running os.execlp. I did notice os.environ["_"], but I am not sure how reliable that would be. Another possible case is to check if sys.argv[0] is not on PATH and is not executable and use sys.executable when calling os.execlp. Any thoughts on a better approach solving this issue?

  • C++ converting binary(P5) image to ascii(P2) image (.pgm)

    - by tubby
    I am writing a simple program to convert grayscale binary (P5) to grayscale ascii (P2) but am having trouble reading in the binary and converting it to int. #include <iostream> #include <fstream> #include <sstream> using namespace::std; int usage(char* arg) { // exit program cout << arg << ": Error" << endl; return -1; } int main(int argc, char* argv[]) { int rows, cols, size, greylevels; string filetype; // open stream in binary mode ifstream istr(argv[1], ios::in | ios::binary); if(istr.fail()) return usage(argv[1]); // parse header istr >> filetype >> rows >> cols >> greylevels; size = rows * cols; // check data cout << "filetype: " << filetype << endl; cout << "rows: " << rows << endl; cout << "cols: " << cols << endl; cout << "greylevels: " << greylevels << endl; cout << "size: " << size << endl; // parse data values int* data = new int[size]; int fail_tracker = 0; // find which pixel failing on for(int* ptr = data; ptr < data+size; ptr++) { char t_ch; // read in binary char istr.read(&t_ch, sizeof(char)); // convert to integer int t_data = static_cast<int>(t_ch); // check if legal pixel if(t_data < 0 || t_data > greylevels) { cout << "Failed on pixel: " << fail_tracker << endl; cout << "Pixel value: " << t_data << endl; return usage(argv[1]); } // if passes add value to data array *ptr = t_data; fail_tracker++; } // close the stream istr.close(); // write a new P2 binary ascii image ofstream ostr("greyscale_ascii_version.pgm"); // write header ostr << "P2 " << rows << cols << greylevels << endl; // write data int line_ctr = 0; for(int* ptr = data; ptr < data+size; ptr++) { // print pixel value ostr << *ptr << " "; // endl every ~20 pixels for some readability if(++line_ctr % 20 == 0) ostr << endl; } ostr.close(); // clean up delete [] data; return 0; } sample image - Pulled this from an old post. Removed the comment within the image file as I am not worried about this functionality now. When compiled with g++ I get output: $> ./a.out a.pgm filetype: P5 rows: 1024 cols: 768 greylevels: 255 size: 786432 Failed on pixel: 1 Pixel value: -110 a.pgm: Error The image is a little duck and there's no way the pixel value can be -110...where am I going wrong? Thanks.

  • Running daemon through rsh

    - by Max
    I want to run program as daemon in remote machine in Unix. I have rsh connection and I want the program to be running after disconnection. Suppose I have two programs: util.cpp and forker.cpp. util.cpp is some utility, for our purpose let it be just infinite root. util.cpp int main() { while (true) {}; return 0; } forker.cpp takes some program and run it in separe process through fork() and execve(): forker.cpp #include <stdio.h> #include <errno.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include <unistd.h> int main(int argc, char** argv) { if (argc != 2) { printf("./a.out <program_to_fork>\n"); exit(1); } pid_t pid; if ((pid = fork()) < 0) { perror("fork error."); exit(1); } else if (!pid) { // Child. if (execve(argv[1], &(argv[1]), NULL) == -1) { perror("execve error."); exit(1); } } else { // Parent: do nothing. } return 0; } If I run: ./forker util forker is finished very quickly, and bash 'is not paused', and util is running as daemon. But if I run: scp forker remote_server://some_path/ scp program remote_server://some_path/ rsh remote_server 'cd /some_path; ./forker program' then it is all the same (i.e. at the remote_sever forker is finishing quickly, util is running) but my bash in local machine is paused. It is waiting for util stopping (I checked it. If util.cpp is returning than it is ok.), but I don't understand why?! There are two questions: 1) Why is it paused when I run it through rsh? I am sure that I chose some stupid way to run daemon. So 2) How to run some program as daemon in C/C++ in unix-like platforms. Tnx!

  • Use Regular expression with fileinput

    - by chrissygormley
    Hello, I am trying to replace a variable stored in another file using regular expression. The code I have tried is: r = re.compile(r"self\.uid\s*=\s*('\w{12})'") for line in fileinput.input(['file.py'], inplace=True): print line.replace(r.match(line), sys.argv[1]), The format of the variable in the file is: self.uid = '027FC8EBC2D1' I am trying to pass in a parameter in this format and use regular expression to verify that the sys.argv[1] is correct format and to find the variable stored in this file and replace it with the new variable. Can anyone help. Thanks for the help.

  • What system does before launching iPhone app's main() function?

    - by Eonil
    My app takes too much time to loading. So I put a NSLog in main() function like this to measure loading time from first: int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { NSLog(@"main"); NSAutoreleasePool * pool = [[NSAutoreleasePool alloc] init]; int retVal = UIApplicationMain(argc, argv, nil, nil); [pool release]; return retVal; } But, the log displayed at really later time. Default.png displayed about 5 seconds, all loading process completed in 1~2 seconds after log appeared. What's happening before executing main() function on iPhone app?

  • Sintra app in a gem

    I have a Sinatra application I've created and I'd like to package it as a gem-based binary. I have my gemspec and gem set up to generate a suitable executable that points to the my_sinatra_app.rb (which is executable) but the sinatra server never runs. • C: Incompatible types?

    - by Airjoe
    #include <stdlib.h> #include <stdio.h> struct foo{ int id; char *bar; char *baz[6]; }; int main(int argc, char **argv){ struct foo f; f.id=1; char *qux[6]; f.bar=argv[0]; f.baz=qux; // Marked line return 1; } This is just some test code so ignore that qux doesn't actually have anything useful in it. I'm getting an error on the marked line, incompatible types when assigning to type ‘char *[6]’ from type ‘char **’ but both of the variables are defined as char *[6] in the code. Any insight?

  • Hiredis waiting for message

My code look like: signal(SIGPIPE, SIG_IGN ); struct event_base *base = event_base_new(); redisAsyncContext *c = redisAsyncConnect("127.0.0.1", 6379); if (c->err) { /* Let *c leak for now... */ printf("Error: %s\n", c->errstr); return 1; } redisLibeventAttach(c, base); redisAsyncSetConnectCallback(c, connectCallback); redisAsyncSetDisconnectCallback(c, disconnectCallback); redisAsyncCommand(c, NULL, NULL, "SET key %b", argv[argc - 1], strlen(argv[argc - 1])); redisAsyncCommand(c, getCallback, (char*) "end-1", "GET key"); redisAsyncCommand(c, getCallback, (char*) "end-1", "SUBSCRIBE foo"); Now how to tell hiredis to wait for message on channel ?

  • How do I get the path of the current executed file in python?

    - by Sorin Sbarnea
    This may seam a newbie question but it is not. It looks that common approaches are not always working: Currently I know only two options but none of them looks to work an all cases. sys.argv[0] This means using path = os.path.abspath(os.path.dirname(sys.argv[0])) but this does not work if you are running from another python script from another directory, and this can really happen in real life. __file__ this means that path = os.path.abspath(os.path.dirname(__file__)) but I found that this doesn't work: py2exe that doesn't have a __file__ attribute but there is an workaround. when you run from IDLE with execute() there is no __file__ attribute OS X 10.6 where I get NameError: global name '__file__' is not defined Related questions with incomplete answers: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1296501/python-find-path-to-file-being-run http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1483827/python-path-to-current-file-depends-on-how-i-execute-the-program http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2259503/how-to-know-the-path-of-the-running-script-in-python http://stackoverflow.com/questions/509742/python-chdir-to-dir-the-py-script-is-in

  • Array of strings and char ** environ variable.

    - by Naruto Uzumaki
    Hello! I want to know how an array of strings is declared? What I do is I declare an array of pointers of pointers to strings. Eg. char *array[]= {"string1","string2","string3"}; I was reading about modifying environment variables in Linux and stumbled upon the pointer char **environ ( http://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/resources/courses/2005/17423/doc/libc/Environment-Access.html#Environment-Access ). char **environ is declared as an array of strings. I think it should be a pointer to a pointer. For eg. char *array[]= {"string1","string2","string3"}; environ = array; Am I doing something wrong? I also read somewhere that char *argv[] = char **argv. How is it possible?

  • How can I manage command line arguements/variables for a script written in Perl?

    - by Structure
    I am trying to manage numerous arguments that are specified by a user when they execute a command. So far, I have been trying to limit my script design to manage arguments as flags that I can easily manage with Getopt::Long as follows: GetOptions ("a" => \$a, "b" => \$b); In this way I can check to see if a or b were specified and then execute the respective code/functions. However, I now have a case where the user can specify two arguments variables as follows: command -a black -b white This is fine, but I cannot come up with a good way to determine whether -a or -b is specified first. Therefore I do not know whether the argument variable is assigned to $ARGV[0] or $ARGV[1] after I have executed GetOptions ("a" => \$a, "b" => \$b);. How can I tell which variable is associated with -a and which is associated with -b in the example above?

  • Perl standard input with argument inside Bash

    - by neversaint
    I want to have such pipe in bash #! /usr/bin/bash cut -f1,2 file1.txt | myperl.pl foo | sort -u Now in myperl.pl it has content like this my $argv = $ARG[0] || "foo"; while (<>) { chomp; if ($argv eq "foo") { # do something with $_ } else { # do another } } But why the Perl script can't recognize the parameter passed through bash? Namely the code break with this message: Can't open foo: No such file or directory at myperl.pl line 15. What the right way to do it so that my Perl script can receive standard input and parameter at the same time?

  • How to create a GtkImage from a Cairo context?

    - by Zurbo82
    I got a paint function that works using a Cairo context and the end result should be a GtkImage (without intermediate image creation). I tried to use the gdk_cairo_create function but this code: ... • printing double in binary

    - by Happy Mittal
    In Thinking in C++ by Bruce eckel, there is a program given to print a double value in binary.(Chapter 3, page no. 189) int main(int argc, char* argv[]) { if(argc != 2) { cout << "Must provide a number" << endl; exit(1); } double d = atof(argv[1]); unsigned char* cp = reinterpret_cast<unsigned char*>(&d); for(int i = sizeof(double); i > 0 ; i -= 2) { printBinary(cp[i-1]); printBinary(cp[i]); } } Here while printing cp[i] when i=8(assuming double is of 8 bytes), wouldn't it be undefined behaviour? I mean this code doesn't work as it doesn't print cp[0].
